Couple Hosts Pizza-Themed Reception Complete With Mozzarella Cheese Fountain

The love between two individuals can be so powerful that it becomes timeless. The same can be said about love for pizza. Put the two together, though, and you have a pizza-themed wedding for the history books.

Brooklyn pizza maker, Nino Coniglio, met his life-long love, Shealyn, while working in the pizza industry. They then both became members of the Brooklyn Pizza Crew, where they fell in love. At a Pizza Expo, Nino proposed to Shealyn onstage in front of a massive crowd.

Does everyone see the common theme here?

The couple then celebrated their union with the food that brought them together in the form of a PIZZA-THEMED WEDDING.

Nino and Shealyn kicked off their nuptials decked in custom pizza attire with a birthday party at Nino’s pizzeria, Williamsburg Pizza..

In a beautiful wedding weekend sponsored by Hormel Pepperoni, the couple tied the knot celebrating their love for one another as well as their love for pizza.

At the reception, the guests tucked into a plethora of pizza delights in the form of decked-out buffet-style tables filled with pies. Guests even got their own personal Hormel Cup ‘N Crisp goodie bags for extra toppings.

The momentous occasion took place in a beautiful venue, decorated wall-to-wall with custom pizza-inspired works of art.

Finally — because why not —the couple even had a mozzarella cheese fountain installed for guests to dunk their pepperoni cups. As far as pizza parties go, this is one for the books.

Pizza fans should also check out to get their hands on some commemorative pizza merch. All the proceeds will go towards the Slice Out Hunger.

We’re wishing the couple many years of happiness ahead of them, and we know it’ll be at least filled with lots of love and pepperoni. Wonder where I can snag a bag of those Cup ‘N Crisps without having to crash a wedding?

Hopefully you won’t need to present a marriage license in order to snag this mountain of cheese. I would love to just pop a Lactaid pill and just dive into this bad boy on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

People Are Suddenly Proposing With Avocados And We’re Not Sure Why

Marriage proposals are one of the most intimate gestures you can make. Whether it’s outlandish or simple, popping the question is one of those moments that sticks with you for the rest of your life. So why would you want to turn your big moment into a silly trend?

Apparently one such trend involves using an avocado to pop the question,  Mashable reports.

The idea is to keep your significant other in the dark by carrying around an inconspicuous avocado, rather than a ring box. Once their guard is down, the proposer gets on their knees and pops the question — the ring embedded inside the de-pitted fruit.

We asked the Foodbeast team what they thought of this ridiculous trend and here’s what they had to say.

I’d do it in an avocado shell if the person I was proposing to was super into avocados. But not the flesh, that just gets messy.

The worst trend I’ve seen all year. Humanity must be stopped.

That’s the dumbest thing ever this side of the Flowbee.

That’s the most basic bitch proposal I’ve ever seen. I hope she responds with a toast.

As for myself, I’m just wondering how he’ll feel about avocados if the marriage doesn’t work out. I’d hate to have something so delicious tainted for life.

Propose At Panera On Valentine’s Day, They Could Cater The Wedding

If you think you’re slick enough to propose to your significant other at Panera Bread on Valentine’s Day, and actually get away with it in a romantic way, the fast-casual restaurant will reward you… maybe.

If you post a photo of yourself proposing on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook, you can enter a chance to have Panera Bread cater your wedding.

The “enter to win” part is the kicker, as their cheap-asses will only select five weddings to cater. So after potentially humiliating yourself, and whipping out a ring over some broccoli cheddar soup, you might not even have your wedding catered for your troubles.

Maybe they’re worried about fake marriage proposals, but if that’s the case, they should have asked for videos, and cater everyone who just put themselves out there in order to have tomato mozzarella flatbreads at their wedding receptions.

If you want to give it a shot, the hashtag is #PaneraProposalSweeps, which is the most corny marketing hashtag of 2018. You have to propose and post the picture between 9 a.m., and 11:59 p.m. ET on Valentine’s Day.

Good luck on winning the sweepstakes, and also good luck keeping your S.O. after proposing at a Panera Bread.

Taco Bell Just Chose The First Couple To Be Married At The Las Vegas Cantina

Not too long ago, we learned that Taco Bell would soon be offering full-service weddings at their new Las Vegas Cantina location. The booze-slinging, 24 hour location would also become a chapel for anyone looking to enter marital bliss with a little help from the fast-food chain.

Now, one lucky couple has been select to become the first two people to be married at the Taco Bell Vegas Cantina.

Dan Ryckert, of Giant Bomb, and his fiancee Bianca are set to wed this June. Fans of Giant Bomb will know that Ryckert has been a life-long fan of Taco Bell, even ordering every single item the fast food chain had to offer in one trip last year.

Besides a lifetime of memories, here are some of the gifts the couple will also receive:

We wish these two the best of luck. Later this year, Taco Bell will open their Catina to everyone and anyone interested in purchasing a wedding package at their new location.

Have you ever considered getting married at Taco Bell?

For those that would consider it, they’d be glad to know that the fast food chain recently announced that they will be throwing a free wedding to one lucky couple in their newly opened Las Vegas Cantina location. This summer, they’ll also be offering full wedding packages for $600 at the Cantina.

For those of you who can’t wait that long, and can’t leave your wedding to chance, perhaps you can draw a little inspiration from some past Taco Bell-inspired marriages

These seven people decided to Live Mas and began a lifelong commitment together on the foundation of the widely popular food chain. Check them out below!

The McCarthy’s

Kevin and Lauren had their first date at a Taco Bell. For their wedding, they decided to serve 200 tacos/burritos to their guests in a glorious fast food feast. Wonder if anyone would notice a few crashers?

The Hall’s

McKenna and Davis Hall shared their “I Do’s” with Taco Bell’s fiery hot sauce. Nothing says love more than having someone to bite open those stubborn hot sauce packets for you. That’s the real commitment.

The Walter’s

Nick Walter loved Mountain Dew Baja Blast so much, he created a video in hopes of having Taco Bell provide some Baja Blast at his wedding. It’s safe to say, that October 27 was the best day of his life.

The Zarzour’s

A first meal as husband and wife can set the tone for the rest of the marriage. Mike and Summer Zarzour went all out and took their wedding party to Taco Bell to devour some Chipotle Chicken Loaded Grillers.

The Shah’s

Eating Taco Bell at a wedding can be a pretty bold statement, but even bolder is having a custom-made cake shaped exactly like a Taco Bell. Megan Shah surprised her new husband Amish with an admittedly mouthwatering cake of the fast food restaurant.

The Cook’s

Everyone has that dream place they have to get their wedding photos taken at. For Courney and Chris Cook, that dream was Taco Bell. The couple needed a location they were both fond of to begin documenting their new life together, so naturally…

The Chieng’s

What would you do if you had free reign of a Taco Bell Truck? This was Stacey and Peter’s big day as the newlywed couple were greeted by a truck that dispensed all the Taco Bell they wanted to eat. Doritos Locos Tacos and all.

If you’re one of the many who didn’t get picked, don’t stress. Taco Bell is also offering a $600 wedding package this summer, which can be purchased by any visitor to the Cantina. Within four to six hours of purchasing the package, you can instantly tie the knot.
