My uncle (Twitter/Skatepunk22) sent me this from his last trip to New York. This is a plate of mussels in brodo from a restaurant in Queens called Pine. That is a serious amount of seafood.
While we’ve had a Twitter account mirroring and relaying our posts for quite some time, we just recently started dabbling with a Facebook page as well. Following us on Twitter will give you guys a little day-to-day on where we’re eating, what we’re doing and of course, keep you up-to-speed on the latest posts from the website. As for the Facebook page, we’re going to be using that to accumulate some awesome Foodbeast pictures, discussion and much more! Join us on these networks if you got a minute, hopefully this helps some of you who have been asking about it! As always, thanks for reading!
Why the heck not? If you’ve been living under a rock, you might not have heard of this social networking application called Twitter that is taking the world by storm in a frightening fashion. Regardless, as with all companys that we’re only familiar with by means of an end product, taking a look at their headquarters and their eating habits is always an interesting activity to partake in. With that setup aside, courtesy of Jessica Lifland and USA Today, we have a quick look into Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters and get to take a peak at their small staff having lunch.
Twitter is taking over and we definitely try to stay up with the times. We have been ‘tweeting’ for a good minute now, and would love if you would follow us! Also thank you Bakerella for making these wonderful twitter cupcakes, she is always keeping me entertained with her creativeness.

2009 is going to be chock full of new features, new news (huh?) and of course, tons of food. We begin our first addition, our complete Twitter integration. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Twitter, it’s a networking tool that allows everyone you know to register, and quickly make little “tweets” (status updates) on your current location, your current status, etc. Now, even if you are away from http://foodbeast.com, the food news will automatically be carried over to the Foodbeast Twitter account, and you will never be in the dark! Hope this serves as a useful feature for everyone! More on the way.
