I’m absolutely starving at the moment. I haven’t eaten lunch yet, and someone sent over this picture of a fabulous breakfast sandwich consisting of bacon and egg in the form of a toasted sandwich. Everything about this picture looks absolutely amazing. Hungry much? Eat on! (PicThx TheFoodPornographer)
Tag: toast
Oddly enough, this is one of my most frequently built sandwiches while I’m at home. I always seem to have toast, I always seem to have peanutbutter, the deciding factor is always if I have bananas left! Once you have the bread, peanut butter and banana, all that’s left is to drizzle the bad boy with some honey! If you’re feeling extra crazy, throw it in a mini-oven for a minute or two just to get the nut-butter runny a little bit and the toast crispy. Good game, eat on! (PicThx Scanwiches)
Craving: Horseshoe Sandwich
I’m absolutely starving right now. Lent is in fullswing, my meat intake is at an all time low, and here we have two pieces of toast encasing two hamburger patties with cheese and drenches in french fries. All that’s missing is an overdose of ketchup, and maybe some coleslaw to even out the adventure and we’d have the sandwich of a lifetime. (Thx mjarosinski)
Pic of the Day: Buffalo Burger
‘Most veggie burgers must have self-esteem issues, since they’re always pretending to be something they’re not. But this bulgur burger doesn’t try to hide it’s meatless nature and instead celebrate its grain-centric origins with wonderful texture and a hint of Middle Eastern spice. Add some earthy portabella mushrooms, some hearty kasha, and a fiery dollop of chipotle mayonnaise makes this burger even more irresistible’.
Craving: Corned Beef Hashburger
Constructed from St. Patrick’s Day leftovers, The King shows us how to turn leftovers into an amazing product dubbed, “Corned Beef Hashburgers”. The patties consist of corned beef mixed with potato, bell pepper, jalapeño, onion, butter, grilled up and topped with a fried egg.
Craving: The Slinger
Hash browns topped with grilled onions, two cheeseburgers, fried eggs (sunny-side up) and then drenched in chili. The meal apparently comes with two pieces of toast. The Slinger. Count me in!
