The Rock’s Feuding With High School Students Over Cereal World Record

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson seems to have a thing for owning random Guinness World Records. You might remember when he claimed the world record for selfies taken in less than 3 minutes, or when he made a 540-pound 7-layer dip.

On November 28, Rocky claimed his 5th Guinness world record, as his Seven Bucks Production company toppled 3,006 cereal boxes in domino-like fashion, beating the old record of 2,686.

The previous record was held by seniors at H. Frank Carey High School in New York, and they didn’t take too kindly to The Rock swooping in and taking their record just days after setting it. In the spirit of competition, and not letting the superstar’s company punk them, they promptly took back the record by toppling 3,416 boxes.

Of course, they didn’t have the fancy budget that Seven Bucks Productions had, so they actually convinced FedEx to return the 2,800 cereal boxes used the first time around, just before they were shipped out to Florida and Puerto Rico for relief.

From there, Associated Foods, who donated the cereal the first time around, donated another 614 boxes, allowing the school to reclaim the record.

To give you an idea of the maginitude of this record, the school filled the floor of the entire gym with the cereal boxes, and it took about 6 minutes for the boxes to snake around and completely topple.

Also, because I know you’re wondering, the cereal will all be donated again.

Hopefully The Rock will see that this record probably means a lot more to these students and gracefully take this “L”. We all know the superstar can probably get the record back, but at this point, the kids earned it.

What 23 Of Your Favorite Celeb’s Crazy Diets Look Like

When we hear of crazy diets from celebrities like The Rock to Matt Damon, it’s always fun to compare them to our own diets.

Of course, diets constantly change, especially when actors have to often change their appearances, but GoCompare put together a nice visual of 23 different celebrities and some of their past documented diets.

They sorted the list by calories, as The Mountain from Game of Thrones tops the list with a 10,000-calorie diet, while Gwyneth Paltrow’s measly 1316 calorie diet rounds out the bottom of the list.

The Mountain’s breakfast and morning snacks alone look like a perfectly full day for most people, as he eats eight eggs, oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries, an avocado, a handful of almonds, and two scoops of glutamine, all before lunch time.

Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, is no slouch, as his 5,901-calorie diet is right below The Mountain on the list.

Everyone’s favorite wrestler-turned-movie star, The Rock, doesn’t quite match up to the two mammoths above him, caloric-wise, but it’s interesting to see that he eats not one, nor two, but THREE dinners a day!

Take a look at the whole list yourself, and see if you eat like any of your favorite stars:

The Rock Had In-N-Out For The First Time Ever And Immediately Became Their Biggest Fan

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a massive man who can eat anything he wants and still look like a Greek god, so its surprising that the Hollywood star had never tried one of the greatest burger joints in the world.

Thursday night, The Rock made his first trip to In-N-Out and sounded like a child who just opened up a PlayStation on Christmas morning. He posted an Instagram photo of himself at the drive-thru of an In-N-Out location while a couple of the employees smiled through the window.

While Rocky didn’t reveal what he ate, he made it very apparent that he fell in love with the California-based restaurant, as he hashtagged in his Instagram post, “#NewestAndBiggestFan, #literally” and also promised that if Moana, the Disney movie he starred in, won an Oscar Sunday, he would find his way back to In-N-Out and have one of the most epic cheat meals of his life.

“If our Moana wins the Oscar this Sunday, I will return – in my tux and completely destroy multiple burtgers and fries to celebrate. I’m talkin’ about takin’ cheat meal to another level.”

We know The Rock goes on strict diets, but it’s still mind boggling how he could have stayed away from In-N-Out his whole life, but then again, this is the same man who had his first ever piece of candy eight months ago.

It’s a good thing his daughter Simone Johnson, and girlfriend Lauren Hashian, had a late night craving for burgers and milkshakes, or else who knows how much longer The People’s Champion would have gone without his first In-N-Out meal.

As if there wasn’t enough at stake for the Oscar’s, now we hope Moana wins big, if only to see The Rock’s epic, Double Double-filled cheat meal.

The Rock Just Made A Record-Breaking 540-Pound 7-Layer Dip

Guinness World Records officially recognized The Rock and his production team for making the largest 7-layer dip in the world.

In order to beat the record, they had to surpass 440.925 pounds, and easily blew by it with 540-pounds of bean dip.

The Rock’s Seven Bucks Digital Studios actually had Guinness there to judge, as the team used a 100 gallon fish tank for the job.

With over five hours of labor and four people prepping the dip, the 7-layer dip was successfully put together using 153.6 pounds of refried beans, 76.8 quarts of sour cream, 9.6 pounds of seasoning, 76.8 pounds of cheese, 38.5 quarts of guac, 38.4 quarts of tomatoes, 19.2 quarts of green onion, and 37.2 quarts of black olives.

The Rock was actually never even in the room himself, but he had no problem taking credit for the record, since it is his team that put it together. He tweeted out last Friday:

While the People’s Champ might not have been there to get his hands dirty with his team, I don’t think anyone is going to argue with him about it, unless it’s Stone Cold Steve Austin, who always used to whoop The Rock’s candy ass.

The Rock’s Latest Cheat Meal Was An Epic Christmas Present To Himself

A photo posted by therock (@therock) on

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is no stranger to sharing his ridiculous cheat meals, so you should not be surprised that he had a huge smile on his face after downing eight slices of sourdough French toast, topped with half an apple pie.

The massive chunk of human is known for religiously sticking to strict diets, and working out like a madman, so once in a while, the man with a superhero physique has to treat himself to a late-night, epic carb-heavy meal.

“It was my Christmas gift to myself,” The Rock said on his Instagram post. “Sat on the couch like the big, brown, bald, tattooed glutinous version of Jabba The Hutt and watched the Force Awakens again.”

No matter how healthy his diets might be, we can always count on The Rock treating himself to something like, 12 pancakes, four whole pizzas, and 21 brownies.

His cheat meals are a piece of cake — or pie technically — but I don’t know if I could do 2 pounds of cod fish every day. But then again, that’s why he’s The Rock.

The Top 5 Foodie Ads for Superbowl XLVII

The Top 5 Foodie Ads of Superbowl XLVII
The outlandish and witty ads that we get bombarded with on game day were at a premium this year, but there were a few standouts sandwiched in between a Destiny’s Child reunion and an exciting, close championship game.

5. Beck’s Sapphire – No Diggity

This one was simple, simply featuring the sleek bottle design of Beck’s Sapphire. However, there’s something about a fish serenading Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” that gives this ad a spot on the top 5:

4. Taco Bell – We Are Young

This one got some buzz on the web when it was released earlier this week and it made its national debut yesterday. The clip earned a good chuckle as the elderly wreaked havoc while a terrible Spanish version of Fun’s “We are Young” played in the background.

3. Got Milk? – The Rock’s Milk Mustache

This commercial portrayed Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a superhero making his way through the madness of the city, drinking milk (of course) to help him along on his crime-fighting errands.

2. Wonderful Pistachios – Crackin’ Gangnam Style

We thought we left Psy and Gangnam Style in 2012, but he made his way back for the Superbowl. At least for one last time, Gangnam Style was funny.

1. Doritos – Goat for Sale

A man buys a goat and quickly finds out why it was for sale. Well done, Doritos.

Late Addition – Jell-O Pudding Surprise

At the end of the game, Jell-O decided to give a surprise to the losing San Francisco 49ers. In the ad, it promised the city free pudding on Tuesday and mocked Baltimore in the process.
