Red Robin Is Offering A Build-Your-Own Wing Bar For Home Delivery

A few months back, there were times when I would eat wings two or three times a week either after work or during lunch. Being at home these days, frequenting wing bars isn’t as easy as it used to be. That, however, hasn’t stopped me from finding alternatives to enjoying wings at home.

That’s because Red Robin Catering is offering a massive box of wings that you can order for the family, that comes with their own sauces, dips, and sides.

Each Big Red Box of Gourmet Wings & Sides come with 50 juicy bone-in chicken wings. While naked wings are delicious, it wouldn’t be considered a wing bar without your choice of sauces and the build-your-own box includes the chain’s signature Buzzard Sauce, Teriyaki Sauce, and Whiskey River BBQ.

Finally, because no wing experience is complete without dipping sauces and sides, guests will also have sides of Ranch and Bleu cheese to dunk their wings into and some carrot sticks.

Wing lovers can get their hands on this box through the Red Robin site. Each package is about $50, serves 10 people, and is available at all participating Red Robin locations.

Teriyaki Flavors Meet Lobster In A Grilled Cheese For The Ages

Two Orange County street food heavyweights have joined up in a collaborative one-day menu to combine teriyaki flavors with bits of luscious lobster, on some next level Surf N Turf kind of wave. Teriyaki joint Ninjas With Appetite and grilled lobster street vendor Lobsterdamus have put together three brilliant new items for local Foodbeasts to munch on: including Teriyaki Surf N Turf fries, Surf N Turf Burrito and a Teriyaki Surf N Turf Grilled Cheese.

Ninjas With Appetite has been on an absolute tear with their newsworthy menu items in recent months. Remember their Teriyaki Cheesesteak Burrito?

For The First Time In 8 Years, McDonald’s Adds New Beef Burgers In Japan

It’s been a hot minute since McDonald’s Japan added any new beef burgers to their official menu.

A few weeks ago, McDonald’s Japan announced that they would be removing the iconic Quarter Pounder from their restaurant’s menu. However, with the beef burger gone, three new ones have emerged to take its place.

RocketNews 24 reports that the new beef burgers will be the Gran Bacon Cheese, Gran Club House, and the Gran Teriyaki. According to the company, this is the first time a beef burger has been introduced to Japan in eight years.

Man, these actually look WAY better than the Quarter Pounder. Wonder how they taste though?

The new burgers are now available permanently (for the foreseeable future) at McDonald’s locations in Japan.

The Teriyaki Cheesesteak Burrito: California’s Answer To The Philly Cheesesteak

Sometimes, something as simple as adding cheese to any food can make a huge difference.

Ninjas With Appetite in Santa Ana, CA is known for their teriyaki bowls, tacos, and burritos. But as of a couple of weeks ago, they added a Teryiaki Cheesesteak burrito to their menu.

It all started a couple of weeks ago when I walked into their restaurant for lunch and couldn’t decide what I wanted. I wanted to try something different and was indecisive, when store owner Marc Vergel de Dios, who always likes experimenting on the spot, suggested I try their teriyaki steak burritos with added American cheese.

A post shared by Isai Rocha (@izzy_serious) on

The end result was a beautiful Teriyaki Cheesesteak that melted my heart.

Their burritos were already pretty fire, so adding cheese just made it that much more enjoyable.

While Philadelphia is famous for its Philly Cheesesteaks, maybe California will be known for the teriyaki cheesesteak one day.

Bite-sized SPAM JERKY Is Coming To Grocery Shelves Near You

When we start snacking on bits of Spam, we get dirty looks. When Hormel Foods Corp. releases Spam Jerky, however, it’s “innovative.” Really though, this is awesome news.

The dried meat bites will be available in three flavors: Bacon, Teriyaki and Classic. In an effort to keep in pace with the consumer base, Hormel plans to focus on innovation rather than imitation.

If innovation means chopping up pieces of dried Spam and serving it ready-to-eat in a snack pack then we’re all for it. Look for the Spam Snacks to hit stores this summer at selected supermarket regions.

Hormel also presented a line of Turkey Breast Sticks. They’re probably a much less saltier alternative.

KFC Russia Serves Up Teriyaki Chicken with Chopsticks

If you’re ever visiting Russia and you have a hankering for some good teriyaki chicken, you don’t have to make a trip down to Japan. Rather, KFC Russia is now offering a variety of teriyaki chicken-based items. Also, they’ll come with chopsticks!

The newly inducted items include the Teriyaki Ricebox and Teriyaki Bites. It might seem a bit odd eating teriyaki chicken with a plastic spork, which is why KFC offers chopsticks to accompany the two Japanese-inspired menu items. The bites are made with your regular KFC crispy (we’re guessing boneless) chicken breast chunks. They’re then covered and tossed in a teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds.

Fans of a lighter alternative can find the Teriyaki Bites in a Twister wrap or salad as well. The bites will be available at all participating KFC Russia locations.

What In-N-Out Burgers Would Look Like If Other Restaurants Made Them

Native Californians know that In-N-Out is a must whenever those burger pangs kick in. Whether its the fresh ingredients or the addicting fries, once you crave it there’s nothing you can do until you get your fill. Part of the appeal of the chain is that they keep the menu simple, with three burger options, shakes and fries. Secret menu not withstanding. What if, however, In-N-Out tweaked their menu just a bit and expanded their burger options?

With so much time on our hands journalistic curiosity, we imagined what it would look like if In-N-Out took over other fast food chains to create burger collaborations. Using In-N-Out’s core ingredients as a template with a signature customization for each new burger, we let our cravings take over.

In-N-Out x McDonald’s Big Mac

More or less the same as a double double, save the addition of pickles and that famous extra layer of bread. I mean, what’s a Big Mac without that burger bun in the middle.

In-N-Out x Tommy Burger

Known for their world-famous chili, just a simple spoonful of the stuff is enough to crank a Double Double up to an 11. What do you mean your dials only go up to 10?

In-N-Out x Carl’s Jr. Guac Burger

A California inspired burger, the burger needs a generous helping of guacamole to truly be called Californian. There should be a second patty somewhere under all that guac.

In-N-Out x Jack in the Box’s Sourdough Jack

The bacon and the sourdough bun. Two signature staples of the famous Sourdough Jack. Sure it’s messy, but the best burgers always are.

In-N-Out x Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chicken

Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chicken sandwich is pretty bomb on its own. Though let’s say one were to add it to an In-N-Out cheeseburger. I’m drooling just staring at the picture.

In-N-Out x Carl’s Jr. Western BBQ Bacon Burger

No matter where you go, the three things you think of most when hearing Western Burger is BBQ sauce, onion rings and bacon. If there isn’t a noticeable crunch when you bite into a Western, you’re ordering the wrong burger.

In-N-Out x Jollibee Amazing Aloha Burger

Pineapples and honey mustard dressing makes for a pretty damn sweet burger. Should taste amazing with a salty order of fries well done. Just make sure the pineapple’s fresh.

In-N-Out x White Castle

It’s a square burger. On the plus side, you can eat them in pairs without having to travel to the East Coast.

In-N-Out x Burger King Whopper

Though you wouldn’t expect it, pickles, ketchup and mayo can really turn a burger into a Whopper. The second that mayo and ketchup mix together after a bite…you’ve got yourself a fancy sauce situation you can’t put down.

In-N-Out x McGangBang

We also wanted to see what some lesser known creations would look like. Take the McGangBang for example, a double burger with a crispy chicken patty thrown inside.

In-N-Out x Ramen Burger

How dope would it be if In-N-Out made a Ramen Burger? We know ramen burgers haven’t hit mainstream fast food yet, but we just had to see what it would look like. We are pleased.

This (Isn’t) What Teriyaki Ninja Nachos Look Like

I guess it takes a true ninja to run a teriyaki food truck that’s so conspicuous it’s inconspicuous, but that’s exactly what Marc of Orange County, Calif.’s NWA — Ninjas with Appetite — food truck is doing.

Last month, the rest of the office got their first taste of arguably So Cal’s only authentic rolling teriyaki, but by the time we got to them, they’d run out of their infamously gangsta, fusion-inspired chips. Luckily, I managed to track these ninjas down and  let me tell you, these are definitely nacho sensei’s nachos.

Picture two layers of melted cheese, chopped spring onions, sour cream, sriracha and whole chunks of juicy chicken teriyaki, all wrapped up in a bright red, cartoon-emblazoned, tokidoki-inspired truck (or you know, just check out the photo above).

Follow NWA Truck on Facebook and Twitter; website and full menu coming soon.
