This Is How Swedish Meal Time Did Christmas [VIDEO]

Online cooking shows gained some serious prevalence in 2011, as witnessed by our recap of the Top 5 Food Videos on YouTube of the year a few days back. One group that wasn’t represented in that top 5, but remains one of our favorites, are the folks behind the show Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time. Their latest video, Carnivourous Christmas Table, has every element of why they’ve gained popularity, and elements of why they stand the test of time into 2012.

They’ve upped the angry ante ten-fold, making their original inspirators of Epic Meal Time look like the nice girls from down the street. Their editing is impeccable, allowing for ample amounts of juxtaposition between angry egg-throwing and quiet moments at the mini-Christmas tree decorating with the utmost delicacy.

Happy Belated Christmas from your friends at Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time:

Swedish Meal Time Makes a “Stomachless Sticky Cake” [VIDEO]

Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time is at it again, and their brand of comedy is definitely on quality display in their latest Stomachless Sticky Cake recipe video. If you like angry, dirty, messy YouTube cooking shows, this latest episode definitely doesn’t disappoint.

It’s stomachless to let your friends eat dessert alone.” As lethargic as eating desserts alone can be, we have to agree with the “stomach-less” mentality of letting your friends eat by their lonesome.

Chop Chop Carnage Stew [Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time]

The guys at Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time are starting to grow on me faster than their slightly-more-Western counterparts of Epic Meal Time. While both shows have a strong, brash sense of humor, the Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time fellas are quite a bit more disgusting, loud and ridiculous… albeit their dishes are not as appetizing. With this in mind, we bring to light their Chop Chop Carnage Stew episode, where they hammer home some of their quality cooking techniques.

These techniques include throwing eggs at cabinets, eating mayo out of the jar (because IT IS GOOD FOR YOU!), and putting your knife face-up on the cutting board and throwing potatoes downward. Where Epic Meal Time seems to parody the ridiculousness of the food we eat, Swedish Meal Time seems to focus on the ridiculousness of the cooking process. Either way, entertainment is served:

Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time: Sidepork Pandemonium [VIDEO]

With the rise of Epic Meal Time, a YouTube-based cooking show that aims to rebel against the current fad of “dieting” and “health food”, their catchy video framework has spawned an interesting amount of parodies. One of which is Swedish Meal Time, a worthy offspring in our humble opinion. While their third title, Sidepork Pandemonium, elicits a good amount of laughs, it does indeed elicit an equal amount of genuinely gross moments. The Sidepork Pandemonium dish these fellas put together is definitely “regular” and “ordinary”, but the entire journey leading up to it is one to be enjoyed. We’ll keep tuning in:
