Ice Cream Parlor Will Serve You Every Scoop They Have On A Single MASSIVE Platter

One of the biggest conundrums you can come across in an ice cream parlor is not knowing which flavor you want to try. Your eyes dart from flavor to flavor, with the veritable cast of 12 Angry Men deliberating in your head the final scoop verdict.

What if you didn’t have to choose?

Milkjam Creamery, in Minneapolis, MN, takes the struggle out of your ice cream-based decision dilemma by offering a platter that serves every single scoop. Yes, every flavor offered at the ice cream parlor will be served to you on what Milkjam aptly named the “All of Them” platter.

The platter includes notable flavors like Thai Tea, Turkish Coffee Toffee, Passionfruit Lychee Swirl, Hibiscus Lemonade, Peanut Butter Banana, and Oreo Peanut Butter. A large chunk of the flavor offerings are even vegan, for those unable to dabble in dairy.

For anyone who loves to indulge their sweet tooth, it doesn’t get any sweeter than this.

You can find the All of Them Sundae platter at Milkjam Creamery, as part of their permanent menu. Flavors are subject to change seasonally.

10 of the Highest Calorie Fast Food Menu Items Ever

Real talk, we can’t be expected to eat healthy all the time. Everyone has cheat meals — or entire cheat days — and that can range from a handful of honey-roasted peanuts to a hefty plate of nachos the size of an infant (I’ll take the latter).

And fast food drive-thrus make it all too easy to obtain a glorious snack-meal that is in no way good for the human digestive system. But we do it anyway. Then we come down off of our high and groan out words like, “Oh, I shouldn’t have done that,” even though deep down we know we’ll absolutely pull this again soon enough.

So let’s talk about those fast food menu items we consider both a blessing and a curse, all those enticing items that dwell north of 1,000-calorie mark. Some crashed into our lives and then fled the menu; others are totally available to order as soon as you finish this list. And for the record, if you don’t count calories, keep in mind that the recommended daily intake of calories is 1,500 – 2,500 for women and 2,000 – 3,000 for men. We’re talking serious gut punches here.

Chicken Rings (20 piece) // White Castle (1,050 Calories)

I need you right now ! 😍😍😍 #chickenrings #whitecastle #famished

A post shared by Marcus C (@vision8eight) on

This technically serves three individuals, but let’s also not make assumptions about anyone’s eating habits. Plenty of people order take-out and get handed an extra fork or two by a presumptuous, or maybe hopeful, server. Meanwhile, chicken rings aren’t exactly a caloric surprise, considering that they’re breaded and fried. The tag-along dipping options aren’t exactly slimming either, given that your choices are barbecue, honey mustard, ranch, and zesty-zing sauce.

Dave’s Triple // Wendy’s (1,090 Calories)

Even at a casual glance, you can tell this thing crosses into four-digit territory. With three beef patties, cheese and mayo, we’re actually surprised it wasn’t number one on the list. It’s quite the beast to behold, but we’d be up for the challenge, tbh.

Ultimate Breakfast Platter // Burger King (1,190 Calories)

A post shared by Mac (@ilovemccullen) on

They do say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and with that in mind, syrupy pancakes, crunchy hash browns, scrambled eggs, a biscuit and coffee sounds juuust right. That said, at nearly 1,200 calories, it would also have to be the only meal of the day. Maybe.

Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt // Subway (1,220 Calories)

Who knew a chicken sandwich could have this many calories? We’re guessing it’s the melted Monterey cheddar cheese, and bacon… and ranch. OK, we’re less surprised now.

Thickburger El Diablo (Half Pounder) // Carl’s Jr. (1,290 Calories)

El Niño’s heat waves are no match for El Diablo. #ElNiño #ThickburgerElDiablo

A post shared by Carl’s Jr. (@carlsjr) on

It’s likely that you don’t usually describe food as “unapologetic,” but I’m otherwise at a loss for words here. Originally hyped as “the hottest burger in fast food” in an appeal to customers in the southwest, this thing straight went for it right out of the gate. Tucked between its buns is a thick burger patty that’s padded with pepper jack cheese, sliced jalapenos, and jalapeno poppers, all with a habanero-bacon sauce going wild in there, too. Also, it should be noted that it was created by an art director, so take that as you will.

Steak Quesadilla // Baja Fresh (1,430 Calories)

So little can mean so much. Made up of just steak and jack cheese in a flour tortilla, topped with guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream, this dish somehow has a caloric intake that sneaks up on you. Hell, people might even be ordering this as a side, in addition to a main meal. We need to warn them! But also, we’d like an extra side of guac, please.

Chicken Carbonara Pasta in a Bread Bowl // Domino’s (1,470 Calories)

Making it very obvious that there’s more to their game than pizza, Domino’s offers this insane festival of calories. Welcome a mix of bacon and chicken breast with penne pasta drenched in alfredo sauce with mushrooms and onions in there too, all stuffed into a bread bowl (Uhm, the best part). Hope you’re carbo-loading or planning to run a marathon in the near future!

Meat Lover’s Personal PANormous Pizza // Pizza Hut (1,480 Calories)

#MeatLoversPizza 😍

A post shared by lilbrownie933 (@lilbrownie933) on

Well, of course this blows out the calorie count! You’re taking a dish that, at a minimum, is made up of dough, sauce, and cheese, then adding two kinds of sausage, beef, and ham with bacon crumbles. There’s legitimately no room for any kind of vegetable. #Respect

Italian Meatball Sub (12 inches) // Quiznos (1,650 Calories)

Such a sandwich seems simple enough, as it’s pretty much fontanini meatballs with double mozzarella and marinara sauce, but this behemoth doesn’t mess around. Sure, you can tick off a calorie or two by choosing wheat bread over jalapeno cheddar, but this thing will find you. It will come at you with an army of calories and there is little you can do about it (besides ordering a different item, I guess).

Peanutty Swirl Master Blast With Snickers Bar // Sonic (2,190 Calories)

A post shared by @bishyouaintkawaii on

It’s good that Sonic is a drive-in because there’s absolutely no way you could walk any amount of distance after indulging in an entire day’s worth of calories from this single shake. Masterpieces like this are why we look forward to summer, a time when we can swim off such a caloric undertaking after napping for several hours with labored breathing. Honestly, I’m exhausted just thinking about this thing. But hey, there’s no saying no to a PB and Snickers shake.

This Record-Setting $1,000 Golden Sundae Is Next Level Treat Yourself

We’re smack dab in the middle of National Ice Cream Month and any foodie with a sweet tooth will want to get that refreshing fix of dairy before the summer heat gets to them. If you’re willing to stretch your wallet just a little and spoil yourselves rotten with a fancy dessert, this might be the one big thing to spend some moolah on.

Serendipity 3, also known as the New York city-based ice cream parlor that serves unforgettable and whimsical desserts, created a sundae so decadent it set a world record for most expensive sundae. Called the Golden Opulence Sundae, the dessert costs $1,000 and must be ordered 48 hours in advance.

It’s made up of three scoops of rich Tahitian vanilla ice cream that’s been infused with Madagascar vanilla beans, which is then enrobed in 23K edible gold. The world’s most expensive chocolate (Amedei Porcelanan) and the world’s rarest chocolate (Amedei Chuao) are drizzled on top of the sundae.

Placed in a Baccarat crystal goblet that patrons can take home once they finish their sundae, the dessert is suffused with exotic candied fruits from Pairs, gold dragnets, chocolate truffles from Switzerland and is finally crowned with a gold-plated sugar orchid. What a decadent mouthful.

You can find the sundae at Serendipity 3 through July, AKA National Ice Cream Month. Just make sure you call two days ahead to place your order before you cash out your savings.

Dominique Ansel Slinging Canned Sundaes in the Hamptons This Weekend

Canned Sundae

Dominque Ansel, sweet genius and creator of the infamous Cronut, Waffogato, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot, has designed yet another innovative dessert in the form of a sundae in a can. His latest sweet treat is a play on a classic root beer float and features root beer flavored ice cream, stracciatella and mascarpone semifreddo. Because classic just isn’t enough for the pastry chef, this sundae is topped with macerated cherries, toasted marshmallow, and Ansel’s famous miniature meringues.

These limited edition Pop It! sundaes were designed for Lisa Perry and were inspired by Andy Warhol. New Yorkers can find Ansel selling these sundaes for $15 outside Lisa Perry’s East Hampton Boutique this weekend. The price may seem high but the sundae actually serves two and Ansel is donating 20 percent of his sales to City Harvest.

An Intimate Look at the Costco Food Court

It’s no secret Costco food courts have some of the tastiest, cheapest grub this side of the wholesale shopping cart. But have you ever taken the time to really look at the stuff? Aside from minor regional variations such as bulgogi bakes in Japan or poutine in Canada, the heart of the Costco menu has always consisted of a few dependable, oddly comforting-after-a-buying-a-year’s-supply-of-Kirkland-toilet-paper staples.

We’re talking golden, Caesar and bacon-filled (if steadily shrinking), chicken bakes and forearm’s length churros. It’s kind of beautiful, really. Best part, prices haven’t really changed since 1991 (six years after the Costco hot dog cart was first introduced in 1985), so today, you can get all the membership-only goodness for only around $20. Come on, free samples can only fill you up so much.

Pepperoni, Cheese, and Combination Pizzas

Two words: Greasy, and Shameless. Technically the 15th largest pizza chain in the U.S. as of 2011, Costco’s pies have practically no structural integrity whatsoever, their big, flappy triangles practically drowning in their own cheesy oil. But like the rest of the money, you really can’t complain when slices are under $2 and whole pizzas under $10. Just remember to grab extra napkins.

Price: $1.99 slice; $9.95 whole

Berry Smoothie and Latte Mocha Freeze

For a quick fix, the Berry Smoothies and Mocha Freezes are excellent walking’ around accoutrements. Sure, they’re 200 and 320 calories respectively (more if you ask for a drizzle of chocolate in the mocha), but for all the walking and lifting you’ll be doing, you probably need the fuel.

Price: $1.45

Chicken Caesar Salad

Not everyone can afford to indulge in warehouse-sized junk food whenever they go shopping. For those people, Costco is kind enough to toss over at least one green, leafy bone. The Chicken Caesar Salad is large and portable, served in a nifty reusable container so you can bring it home for lunch the next day. Bonus points: caesar is what they use as cream inside their famous chicken bakes, so if you close your eyes, you can almost pretend it’s the same thing. Eh, almost.

Price: $3.99

Hot Dogs and Polish Sausages

Full disclosure: I couldn’t tell the difference between the regular all-beef hot dog and the Polish sausage when it came to taste. I believe the Polish had more pepper? Regardless, at a $1.50 combo with 20 oz. soda (and free refills), they’re both a long, meaty testament to everything Costco stands for.

Price: $1.50

Chicken Bake

Let me say this first: if you like your heart, it might be best to walk away while you still can. When it comes to Costco’s chicken bake, if you hate Caesar dressing and bacon and slightly burnt bread in dizzying quantities, you’re going to hate everyone for over-hyping it. If you love all those things, you might just die a slow, delicious death. The size of the hefty hot pockets have steadily dwindled over the years, but there’s still nothing more quintessentially Costco.

Price: $2.99

This thing is as long as an arm, seriously. Try dipping into your chocolate yogurt swirl or mocha freeze  for a little extra nuance.

Price: $1

BBQ Brisket Sandwich

It comes cuffed in a strip of thin white cardboard, presumably to keep the Sloppy Joe-like insides from bursting out, which are nestled on a bed of cool and creamy cole slaw. One of the newer menu items, the BBQ Beef Brisket sammy is peppery and sizable — perhaps not enough to receive cult-status, but there’s really only so many hot dogs and chicken bakes a heart can take.

Price: $4.99

Hot Turkey & Provolone Sandwich

Likewise, the turkey provolone sandwich is tasty but a little odd to look at. Strings of waxy cheese hang uncomfortably off the side of the pesto and garlic toasted torta roll. It’s definitely a step up from the bizarrely bland carne asada bake it replaced about two years ago, but you’re probably better off with the tried-and-trues.

Price: $3.99

Berry Sundae and Chocolate Vanilla Yogurt Swirl

At the end of a successful Costco binge, it’s a rare stomach that can still handle the store’s massive desserts, the berry sundae and yogurt swirl (or in in some instances, the chocolate dipped ice cream bar). But then, if your goal is to not have to dig into your precious Costco loot for at least another day, there’s no sweeter, more indulgent way to do it.

Price: $1.65 sundae; $1.35 swirl

Krispy Kreme Japan Does Donut Ice Cream Sundaes

Donuts and ice cream always felt indulgent enough on their own to ever need to be combined together — not that we’re complaining. Especially when the mashup comes at the hands of an expert craftsman like Krispy Kreme.

Over at their Japanese branches, the alliterative donuteer has re-envisioned its famous glazed rings for summer with new donut sundaes. Unlike similar combinations that suffer from too stiff pastries (*ahem, Umami Burger), Krispy Kreme only uses “Hot Doughnuts Now.” The result is a mouthwatering, sugar-flaked pillow coated with your choice of melty vanilla ice cream, yogurt, caramel corn, and toasted almonds; or yogurt, blueberry sauce, and granola. Hot damn.

Free Baskin-Robbins Sundaes Every Hump Day in March

Wednesdays may just be getting a bit louder, as Baskin Robbins announces a buy-one-get-one sundae offer every Wednesday through March. Given that free ice cream induces screaming, we’ll all be screaming every hump day.

How exactly do you procure this free sundae? Easy, by buying a two-scoop sundae. And, with the economy tightening everyone’s belt, you can finally ask that lucky lady out to grab some ice cream without breaking the bank. She may just give you two scoops for the price of one after that.

However, let it be noted that this deal applies on Tuesdays and not Wednesdays if you live in NYC. Apparently, their Wednesdays are actually Tuesdays. NYC, go figure.
