Wienerschnitzel Debuts Breakfast Cereal Milkshakes, Kind Of Like Burger King’s

Last year, Burger King introduced a line of breakfast cereal shakes to the fast food world. These included Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Froot Loops, and Lucky Charms.

Well, it looks like Wienerschnitzel is following in Burger King’s footsteps by releasing their own line of breakfast cereal shakes.

Announced on their Facebook page, the three new flavors are: Cocoa Krispies, Trix, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

A Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake was also Burger King’s latest addition to their limited time menu last October. Wonder if the burger chain will reciprocate with their own versions of Cocoa Krispies and Trix shakes?

The three shakes will be available at participating Wienerschnitzel locations from now through April. You can get one for $2.99 with a coupon found here.

Hmm, if we had to choose, a trip to Wienerschnitzel would probably be more worthwhile for our gut. We do love our chili dogs.

A Froot Loops Milkshake Could Be Coming To Burger King

Burger King is constantly pushing the limits of its menu with interesting mashups, from Mac & Cheetos Fries to its Whopperito. Their thirst for innovation is consistent and is evident again with rumors of a Kellogg’s Froot Loops Milkshake.

Rumor has it that the shake will be making its launch on April 17, according to

Burger King has not confirmed it, but it looks like they’ve been testing the shake in New York, as an Instagram user posted the photo below 64 weeks ago.

This wouldn’t be the first time Burger King dropped a new food item without really publicizing it. In 2015 we got a tip about their Frozen Surge drink, and it turned out to be true. They were pretty hush hush when their Chicken Fries released as well.

While Burger King hasn’t had many collaborations with Kellogg’s, their veggie burger is made by MorningStar, who is owned by Kellogg’s.

Burger King hasn’t made a peep about the shake, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed until April 17 and see what happens.

McDonald’s Anime Commercial Is Actually Kind Of Beautiful

McDonald’s International has been knocking it out of the park with their latest batch of commercials. One that’s been trending across the Internet comes from Japan. This commercial’s entirely animated.

Set in the style of Japanese Anime, the commercial narrates the experiences of a young girl starting her job at the fast food restaurant. It utilizes beautiful stills that make working at McDonald’s look kind of magical.

According to RocketNews24, the commercial follows college student Sumire as she begins a part-time job at McDonald’s. Mentored by fellow student Ikumi, the experience is told through a whimsical montage that incorporates breathtaking animation of life at the burger joint.

Birthdays In A Cup: Sonic Now Has Ice Cream Cake Milkshakes

When we were younger, our parents would make us choose between ice cream or cake for dessert. Who asks a kid to choose between two of the sweetest snacks around? Sonic Drive-In has combined the two desserts to create both Ice Cream Cake Cones and Ice Cream Cake Shakes.

Now, no child will ever have to face the heartbreaking decision we had to make growing up.

The Ice Cream Cake items are available in three toppings: Oreo Cake, Vanilla Birthday Cake and Strawberry Shortcake.

Ice cream cake combos have been trending more and more in the last few years. While we probably won’t see a deep-fried ice cream cake at Sonic anytime soon, it’s nice to see they’re stretching their wings a bit.

Though we wouldn’t mind an ice cream cake in a corn dog.

Both cones and shakes are available now at participating Sonic locations. A cone runs for about $3.12 and a small shake for $3.45.

Jack Doesn’t Give a Sh*t About Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Introduces Peppermint Oreo Shake

The end of Thanksgiving signals the end of pumpkin-flavored beverages, as we move forward into the Christmas season. For that, we are deeply thankful. Now, it’s time for peppermint to shine.

Carl’s Jr. Gets Salted Caramel Shakes and Strawberry Biscuits ‘Made from Scratch’

Strawberry Biscuit

Carl’s Jr. released their new Made From Scratch Strawberry Biscuits and Salted Caramel Shakes this week. The new biscuits on deck claim to “made-from-scratch,” a bold move for any fast food joint.

The Strawberry Biscuit is made with a fresh buttermilk biscuit drizzled with white icing and topped with sliced strawberries drenched in strawberry syrup. Apparently, “fresh biscuits” in this case mean a combination of biscuit mix and buttermilk baked daily. Alright.

The Sea Salt & Caramel Shake, another new item, packs hand-scooped vanilla ice cream blended with caramel syrup. It’s topped with sea salt toffee crumbles and whipped cream. You’re going to want a bacon burger or two to balance all that sweet.

The biscuit is available at $0.99 and $1.79 for two, while the shake will run you $2.99 at participating locations.

Candy Cane Blizzard Returns to Dairy Queen

Since Christmas is only a few weeks away, Dairy Queen is bringing back their Candy Cane Chill Blizzard Treat for it’s annual run throughout the month of December. The seasonal item is  available as a regular Blizzard, a Blizzard in a chocolate waffle cone, or a Royal Shake.

The Candy Cane Chill packs candy cane pieces and chopped up chunks of chocolate blended into soft-serve vanilla ice cream. However, while Candy Cane is a delicious holiday favorite, I’d love to see them mix it up a bit with some new candy cane flavors. SweetTarts Candy Canes are at the top of my Christmas list. Maybe next year, Santa will deliver.
