Shake Shack’s New Black Truffle Menu Available Nationwide

Black truffle menu items always have an air of lavish aura around it, enticing diners with its nutty, earthy, and uniquely savory flavors. This reputation is the very reason why Shake Shack’s Black Truffle menu had a successful test last December at four New York and California locations.

And with that success comes a much wider nationwide release of the Black Truffle menu, which includes a Black Truffle Burger and Parmesan Garlic Fries with Black Truffle Sauce. The Black Truffle Burger is a gruyere cheeseburger topped with black truffle sauce and crispy shallots on a potato bun, while the Parmesan Garlic Fries also gets a topping of the decadent black truffle sauce.

Both menu items are made with Regalis Foods’ USDA Organic Black Truffle Arbequina Oil, which is flavored with real Spanish black truffles, and are available nationwide starting Friday, October 15 through January 10.

Those who have the Shack app can get early access to try the new Black Truffle menu starting October 12.

Shake Shack Adds Buffalo Sauced Menu To Select Locations

It was only a matter of time before a New York-based burger icon like Shake Shack paid tribute to the spicy sauce from Buffalo.

At a couple of locations in New York and California, Shake Shack is fielding a lineup of items covered in Buffalo sauce. This includes a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Bites, and a Buffalo Shroom Shack, which consists of a fried portobello mushroom stuffed with Muenster and Cheddar cheeses.

The sandwiches also come with shredded lettuce, and all three items are served with Shack ranch sauce to satisfy the classic pairing of buffalo and ranch.

Avocados and bacon have become quite the iconic duo in the past few years. The pairing not only checks off a silky and crispy texture but richness paired with saltiness in each bite.

Popular burger chain Shake Shack has utilized both flavors and created a new Avocado and Bacon menu that officially hit stores nationwide.

This new menu features an Avocado Bacon Burger and an Avocado Bacon Chicken Sandwich. The burger will feature freshly sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, cheese, and ShackSauce. The sandwich boasts a crispy chicken breast served with freshly sliced avocado, Niman Ranch applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, pickles, and buttermilk herb mayo.

Additionally, customers can now add avocado to any of their orders for an additional $1.35 charge.

Shake Shack’s Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich Headlines New Korean-Inspired Menu

Korean Fried Chicken has been one of the highlights of my adult life. Now imagine combining those incomparable flavors with fast food, and you may just have a game-changer on your hands.

Shake Shack has just launched a limited-edition Korean-inspired menu that features a Korean-style fried Chick’n sandwich

Made with a crispy chicken breast that’s glazed with a spicy-sweet Gochujang sauce, it’s then rested on a bed of Choi’s Kimchi slaw and topped with toasted sesame seeds.

Accompanying menu items include Korean-style Gochujang Chick’n Bites (white meat chicken bites served with Gochujang mayo), Korean-style Gochujang Fries (Crispy Crinkle Cut Fries served with a Gochujang mayo), and a Black Sugar Vanilla shake (toasted black sugar mixed with vanilla frozen custard and topped with whipped cream and black sugar syrup).

The menu concept was inspired by the Shake Shack culinary team’s trip to South Korea, where they were recommended to try a Korean Fried Chicken joint.

As a fan of Korean fried chicken, I can attest to how life-changing that experience can be.

Shake Shack Announces Its First-Ever Drive Thru Location

Shake Shack has long been heralded amongst the top burger chains, often jostling against icons like In-N-Out for the number one spot in the country. Unlike most of its competitors, however, Shake Shack has never had a full drive thru location before.

That’s all going to change in the next couple of years, as the chain has decided to move forward with developing a dedicated drive thru concept. According to Nation’s Restaurant News, this location could have up to three lanes, with one for regular drive thru ordering and the others for mobile pickup orders.

All of this comes as the coronavirus pandemic has hit Shake Shack hard. In the second quarter of this year, comparable sales were down by almost half, according to MarketWatch.

Shake Shack has also been adding curbside pickup to multiple locations, and is looking into cloud kitchens to deliver its food to more locations.

As for the drive thru location, there’s no clear locale that Shake Shack has chosen, but the goal is to have one open sometime in 2021. Once it does open, getting Shackburgers to your face will get a whole lot easier.
