ss_irish-fries_CRINKLE

Be still my heart and silence the vibration of my loins; Shake Shack has brought back their IRISH FRIES.

The St. Patrick’s Day-specific special is an offering of their crinkle-cut fries, topped with horseradish cream, scallions and a sprinkling of their applewood smoked bacon. Availability on these fries will only be for a few days, according to VegasNews, which cites March 13-17.

They will also be offering a chocolate mint frozen custard from March 16 through 22 for those looking to round out the green festivities.

Craving: Bacon Shrimp Pizza

When I lived in Oregon, there was a pizza place that used to put baby shrimp on their pepperoni pies. This is basically that same pizza with one more wonderful thing; bacon. What we have here is a chive-garlic thin crust pizza topped with shrimp, bacon, red peppers and edam all smothered in cheese. Really, what more could you ask for? (Thx FPD)

Recipe: Cobb Salad Dip

Cobb Salad is definitely a go to choice of mine when I eat salads, which is basically never. So really I can’t call it a go to choice since I never go to it. But now what if I could have a Cobb salad in the form of a dip and eat it with crackers or chips, now that would for sure be a go to choice. Apparently I can now, after throwing out the greens, and stocking up on blue cheese dip with the best Cobb fixings (avocado, herbs, scallions and of course bacon!). Serve with cold celery sticks or chips or some other weird thing I’ve never heard of. For the recipe, check after the jump. (Thx Chow) (That’s for you Wray!)
