Robots are some of the best work a person can hire. Never has it been truer than with this awesome tea companion we’ll dub Mr. Robo Tea Infuser. This high-tech buddy has a set of curving hinged arms that cling to the rim of your mug, making sure the flavor of the tea is flowing through its petite perforations on both sides of his metal frame. iPhone 4s, take that! Wait…that makes sense, right? ($14.99 @ ModCloth)
This little guy would love to help you cook. He can measure all your ingredients with robotic accuracy by disassembling himself into four measuring cups, of 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, and 1 cup sizes. When he’s done cooking, he can take a trip though the dishwasher (make sure he sits in the top rack) before he transforms back into his robot form. He will stand at attention on your kitchen counter until you are ready to cook again. ($7.99 @ ThinkGeek)
Ever dream of a tiny little Robot Vacuum that will never get tired of cleaning up your messes? Well those dreams are quickly becoming a reality, especially in those pesky areas including those kitchen tables and that messy desk, ideal for either home or office use. With three colors to choose from (red, gray or black), these little robots are powered by a simple on / off button located on the top of their heads. Now I don’t have to worry about those pesky crumbs from my peanut butter and jelly sandwich! If only these little guys could get in between the keys on my keyboard…now that would be amazing! ($14.99 @ UsefulThings Store)
A robot was caught on camera a little over a week ago rolling into Red Rock Coffee Shop in Mountain View, CA. The robot, a product of Anybots (not ironically enough, a Mountain View based company), rolled in, ordered a scone, told the barista she could keep the change, and left as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. The best part of the video comes at the expense of a diegetic, yet off-camera muttering of “This must be a Google thing“. If you’re looking for a robot to do your scone-shopping for you, $15,000 should do it.
Sausage, toast and cheese come together in this awesome collaboration of genius, artistic expression, and downright deliciousness. We’re looking at a robot, fossilized on wheatbread and cheesy glory. AnnaTheRed explains a bit more about this creation on her website, but I definitely think this badboy is worthy of some Foodbeast praise. Eat on!
