Reese’s Just Stuffed Crunchy Cookies In Their Peanut Butter Cups

Every once in a while, Reese’s will mess around with its world famous peanut butter cups, and this time, they added a Crunchy Cookie Cup to their lineup.

The core of peanut butter and chocolate is staying the same, but the addition of crunchy chocolate cookie bits give it a different element that fans of the smooth chocolate are used to.

Reese’s teased the new candy idea last weekend, giving clues under the #cupspiracy hashtag, as fans tried guessing what the reveal would be, some even fearing that they’d get rid of the cup altogether. Nothing to fear on that end, as the cup remains, just with a bit of a remix.

Reese’s has been playing around with its cups over the years, introducing a Reese’s Pieces stuffed cup last year, and even collaborating with Oreo for a Peanut Butter Cup flavor in 2014.

If they’re going to be stuffing their cups with cookies, they might as well collab with Oreo again and stuff chocolate with cookies and cream this time. Just sayin’.

Whoa, Reese’s New Peanut Butter Cups Are Stuffed With Reese’s Pieces

Reeses-Mini-Pieces-Stuf

What could be better than a Reese’s Peanut butter cup? Maybe one that’s stuffed with tiny Reese’s pieces inside. It seems the peanut butter chocolate brand is offering a new snack that pretty much falls in line with the trend of stuffing popular foods into tougher foods.

While it first started as a leaked image, the many heads that turned quickly brought the company to officially announcing the new Reese’s Stuffed with Pieces.

The brand has begun releasing promotional teasers for the upcoming launch. You can find them all on their official Facebook page.

According to the company, you can expect to see them in store shelves sometime in July.

This Is Reese’s Brilliant Response To Fans Shaming Their Christmas Tree Chocolates

This year, Reese’s fans took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the brand’s holiday Christmas Tree candy. What was supposed to look like a Christmas Tree ended up looking like a piece poop. Literally.

Reese’s, however, took the response like a pro and replied with this image posted on their Twitter account.

A genius move on Reese’s social team’s part. Kind of shuts down every complaint of how the trees look from here on.

Fans Shame Reese’s Over Christmas Tree Peanut Butter Cups That Look Like ‘Turds’

Reeses-Christmas-Tree

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups usually launches a festive variation of its chocolate to get consumers hyped for Christmas. The chocolate candy, a Christmas tree, has been met with less than satisfied reactions this year from Reese’s lovers.

Apparently, fans of the peanut butter and chocolate snack are a tad disappointed that the holiday sweet kind of looks like a “turd.”

Consumers have since posted photos of their misshapen Reese’s Christmas Trees, letting the chocolate brand know how disappointed they were with the shape of the candy.

A spokesperson for the company told Fox News that the special edition chocolates weren’t made from a traditional mold, which would give it a more symmetrical shape. Because if this, and the chocolate’s higher peanut butter ratio, the Christmas trees end up with a less-than-distinct shape.

We have a feeling the brand might steer clear of Christmas trees next year.

Here are some of the results.
