For One Day Only Next Week, You Can Try Quiznos New Gyros For Free

Quiznos recently unveiled a new lineup of gyros menu items that incorporate the slow-roasted meat in a variety of forms. To introduce them to the masses, the sandwich chain announced a free Quiznos gyros giveaway, valid for just one day.

On Wednesday, October 25th, all three of the gyros options on Quiznos menu will be free with any purchase made at any location. You’ll be able to select from Quiznos’s flatbread wrap, sandwich, or salad to try the new blend of slow-roasted beef and lamb in. All of the options come with lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, banana peppers, and tzatziki, a Greek yogurt-based sauce made with cucumbers. The Greek salad is served with additional lettuce, forgoing the traditional cucumbers for a more recognizable light entree.

Outside of the special giveaway, Quiznos Gyros items normally clock in between $4.10-$8.70 each, the cheapest item being the Half Greek Salad and the most expensive a 12-inch sub. The gyros wraps are $4.70 for one and $6.70 for a pair.

If you’re interested in saving that amount of cash while trying the new gyros out for yourself, head to Quiznos on the 25th. Otherwise, they’ll be available for regular purchase until January 2018.

Quiznos’ New Lobster & Seafood Scampi Bake Looks Like A Mouthful For Lent

Lenten season is nearly upon us and if you’re one to keep an eye out for any fast food options that don’t contain meat, prepare to weep for joy. Quiznos announced a new Lobster & Seafood sandwich that’s arriving just in time for the upcoming season of meat-less fasting.

The Lobster & Seafood Scampi Bake features a warm garlic-baked lobster and seafood medley that is topped with gooey mozzarella, tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and onions.

On the colder side, Quiznos’ existing Lobster & Seafood Salad Sub makes a seasonal return. The sandwich features fresh lobster paired with seasonal greens and served on butter-toasted artisan bread.

Patrons can find the Lobster & Seafood Scampi Bake and Lobster & Seafood Salad Sub now at participating Quiznos locations through mid-April.

Pretzel Buns Are Now Available At Quizno’s

Biting into a warm, freshly-baked pretzel is a pretty fantastic experience. Throw a little mustard on there and really enjoy it. Quizno’s is now offering Pretzel Bread to go with you sandwiches.

The quick-service chain has released a new pretzel bread option that’s featured on two new sandwiches. The Ham on Pretzel Bread features deli-sliced ham and Swiss cheese and is stacked with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes and spicy brown mustard. The Turkey on Pretzel Bread is made with roasted turkey, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo and spicy brown mustard.

So while National Pretzel Day is over and done with, at least for another year, you can still get your hands on these new breads. At least through the fall.

Quiznos Steps Up Carb Game with Toasty Pasta Line

Sure, you could go to a fancy sit-down restaurant for a pasta fix, or, even better, attempt to make your own, but Quiznos would like to suggest a welcome middle ground. Now, with less work than it’d take to nab a reservation or figure out just what in the hay “al dente” means, you can pick up a single-serving bowl of pasta from Quiznos.

New Toasty Pastas are made with spiral macaroni and come in six different varieties, featured below:

Classic Mac & Cheese, Bacon Mac & Cheese, and Lobster Mac & Cheese

MacCheeseSharp_00014_RTMacCheeseBacon_00112_RT  MacCheeseLobsterSoft_000322

Each Mac & Cheese is made with parmesan, provolone, and fontina cheese and topped with breadcrumbs.

Chicken Pesto

All white chicken breast covered in balsamic tomatoes, a three cheese blend, and basil pesto sauce

Meatball Marinara

Made with cheese-stuffed, beef and pork-blend meatballs, topped with two layers of mozzarella and marinara sauce

Spicy Sausage Marinara (not pictured)

Spicy all-pork Italian sausage covered with mozzarella and basil marinara sauce

Considering there’s no real room to prep them on the sandwich line, we’re presuming these will be pre-made and toasted to order, but we haven’t had a chance to try them yet. Prices range from $4.99 to $6.99. Been there, done that? Let us know what you thought in the comments below!

14 Fast Food Seafoods to Help You Survive the 40 Days of Lent

Around February and March every year, fast food menu boards become inundated (okay, maybe just splashed) with foods which would have no business being there if it weren’t for Catholics. Not to say deep-fried fish sticks, nuggets, and patties can’t be delicious; just that, when seen alongside sizzling slabs of charbroiled beef, they might not be most people’s first choice. Oh, but then Lent rolls around, and reminds us all that man cannot live on burgers alone, that we should do unto fish as we would unto burgers, and . . . any other awful biblical misappropriations you can think of.

So we’ve compiled this quick rundown of the seafood options offered by your favorite fast food chains either yearlong, or especially during Lent. New items are starred.

Quiznos Offers New Bourbon Steak Sub

For the company that brought us those mutant “spongmonkeys” back in the early 2000s, you’d think Quiznos would have a lot more booze on its menu. The latest – a Bourbon Steak Sub – seeks to remedy this tragic deficiency. Featuring Black Angus steak (which, by the way, is just a kind of cow, not necessarily a marker of quality), along with mozzarella, bacon, fried onions and a bourbon sauce, the BSS is what happens when meat companies realize the marriage between liquor and protein is not only inevitable, it’s f*cking delicious.

As with any sub, you can get the Bourbon Steak on your choice of White, Wheat, Rosemary Parmesan or Jalapeno Cheddar bread. You can also find a dollar off coupon on Quiznos’ Facebook. This, of course, is all assuming you’re able to actually find a Quiznos. If the comments on the chain’s Facebook page are any indication, everyone’s local franchise has been disappearing over the years, probably thanks to all the franchisees suing corporate for charging them too much for supplies – and leaving all us would-be eaters sadly bourbon steak-less.

What say we just smooth everything over with a bottle and plate of bourbon, hm?

Quiznos’ new Bourbon Steak Sub is now available for a limited time at all participating Quiznos locations.
