New Limited Edition ‘Rick and Morty’ Pringles Arrive At Walmart

Earlier this year, Pringles partnered up with Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty to unveil a special edition Pickle Rick flavor.

Not only is Pickle Rick returning to the chips aisle this summer, but it’s bringing along two new Rick and Morty Pringles flavors.

Honey Mustard Morty and Look At Me! I’m Cheddar & Sour Cream have now joined the Rick and Morty Pringles line-up.

The tangy Honey Mustard features an exclusive Morty design while the Cheddar & Sour Cream is based upon the popular blue character Mr. Meeseeks.

These two new flavors will be joining last year’s Pickle Rick in the new Adult Swim line-up.

You can find the special edition Rick and Morty Pringles chips this September exclusively at Walmart snack aisles and Walmart.com

Pringles x Wendy’s Collab Introduces Limited-Edition BACONATOR Chips

In an unexpected move, Pringles has partnered with sassy fast food burger chain Wendy’s to create a line of limited edition chips based off of the ever-popular menu item: The Baconator.

Pringles new Baconator Chips is said to boast just that, the taste of its namesake.

For those unfamiliar, the Baconator is made with a half pound of beef, American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, ketchup, and mayonnaise. The idea was to capture the flavors of the iconic Wendy’s sandwich while making it as accessible as reaching into your pantry.

Looking forward to getting my hands on a can and seeing if this rings true.

You can find the new flavor of Pringles now at participating retailer snack food aisles nationwide for a limited time. Wonder if Pringles plans on collaborating with other fast food brands in the near future? Would love to see a Filet-O-Fish can in the future.

Pringles Launches Limited-Edition SWEET CORN Can

One of the many staples of a proper summer barbecue is some sweet and buttery corn on the cob. While many of us may not be barbecuing outside anytime soon, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy those flavors from the comfort of our homes.

Some needed corn comfort now arrives in the form of a Pringles can. That’s right, the newest Pringles flavor is Sweet Corn.

The chip boasts the sweet and salty flavor of fresh corn, cooked corn, and creamy butter all fused into a crispy bite. Apparently those who have already tried it say it really does taste like sweet corn on the cob — a fantastic sign for any chip that’s flavored after their namesake.

Need to cop a can or too ASAP. Freakin’ love corn.

You can pick up Pringles new Sweet Corn cans now at participating Walgreens locations nationwide while supplies last.

Pickle Rick Pringles Are Real And Coming Soon

Ever since McDonald’s took advantage of their unintentional Rick & Morty hype, collaborations with the popular show seem to be the golden ticket.

Pringles grabbed that ticket as they will unveil a special edition “Pickle Rick” flavor this coming Super Bowl Sunday, at grocery stores nationwide.

“We want to do something completely new for the brand for the 2020 Big Game, and are thrilled to be partnering with Adult Swim and Rick and Morty,” said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “We hope the new special edition Pickle Rick flavor will be a hit with the show’s fans.”

In the Emmy Award-winning “Pickle Rick” episode, the show’s protagonist turns himself into a pickle-person, and goes on an epic journey. It’s kind of hard to explain if you haven’t watched the show, but it was great, and the potato chip maker is smart to pick up on this.

Pringles already has a dill pickle flavor, and we can’t imagine it being much different, but the chip container is what everyone will care about anyway. The can is completely wrapped in a green pickle color, while Pickle Rick’s face adorns the front.

As far as Super Bowl Sunday, Pringles will be running a 30-second Rick and Morty-themed ad during the second quarter of the game.

Pringles did not indicate that this will be a limited release, but you’re probably going to want to get your hands on one early, as there is a strong possibility that they’ll be flying off store shelves.

Pringles Just Made A Turducken In Chip Form

The Turducken is a Louisiana holiday staple that combines a turkey, duck and chicken all stuffed within each other. Not to be confused with PETA’s Tofucken, the Turducken really caught on nationally around the late 90’s, and is arguably the original shocking food mashup.

Well, Pringles is taking a cue from the monstrous bird with its Friendsgiving Feast Turducken pack, available November 7 for $15.99.

The pack includes six different flavors, including the turkey, duck and chicken, along with a stuffing flavor, pumpkin pie, and cranberry sauce, for a complete meal in chip form.

While you don’t get the flavors of all three birds in one chip, you can take one of each flavor and stack them together for a bite that has all three seasonings swimming in your mouth at once.

Getting a chance to try the new holiday pack, we can confirm that each chip has its own distinct taste. The turkey flavored chip has a pretty strong gravy-like taste to it. The duck flavor is a little hard to sort out, though it does taste like a particular meat seasoning, but the chicken does taste like it has some chicken seasoning to it.

These make for a cute gift, or if you’re spending Thanksgiving alone, it’s a pretty easy way to enjoy a whole meal in one sitting.

Pringles Just Released A FRIED ONION RING Flavor Nationwide

It’s been a minute since Pringles released a new flavor variation, but onion fans can peel back their layers of delight as the latest iteration of the iconic chips in a can have dropped. The newest Pringles draws inspiration from an iconic fried food: onion rings.

Each dark purple can of Fried Onion Ring Pringles boasts a stack of onion-flavored chips that are inspired by the iconic appetizer.

As far as taste goes, they’re pretty similar to Funyuns — though slightly a bit more mellow. Still, if you’re a fan of any and all things Pringles related, these are a definite must-try.

The new Fried Onion Ring flavor is available now exclusively at any 7-Eleven store nationwide, though only while supplies last.

Like their namesake, I bet these will taste fantastic dunked in a bowl of ranch.

Pringles Debuts New Bacon and Mac ‘N Cheese Flavors For Limited Time

Pringles just dropped some exclusives, as their new Bacon and Mac ‘N Cheese flavors have hit stores for a limited summertime release.

The Bacon flavor can be found at Dollar General and Walmart, while the Mac ‘N Cheese seems to be a Dollar General exclusive.

An iteration of the Mac ‘N Cheese was tested before, as part of an eight-chip Thanksgiving package in 2017. The Thanksgiving Mac ‘N Cheese was not received well in the Foodbeast office, being described as smelling like, “butt,” and kind of tasted like the uncooked cheese powder that comes with Kraft mac.

We can only imagine they’ve improved upon that recipe over the last couple years. You also can’t help but think that there was a missed opportunity to combine the two new flavors to make a Bacon Mac ‘N Cheese flavor, but I guess you can buy both and just eat the two flavors at the same time.

In 2018, there was a Thanksgiving Pringles re-release that only included the Turkey, Stuffing, and Pumpkin Pie. The one flavor they need to bring back from that Thanksgiving set, though, is the Creamed Corn. Trust me on this.

Pringles Releasing Limited Edition Thanksgiving Flavors

Around this time last year, Pringles teased Foodbeast with Thanksgiving-flavored chips that weren’t released in stores.

The package came with eight different flavors; turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, creamed corn, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole.

Some were hits and some were misses, but either way, it didn’t seem to matter since we couldn’t get our hands on them after they were all devoured by the rest of the Foodbeast team.

After Pringles’ little test run, it seems that they feel confident in releasing them to the masses, but with only three of those flavors mentioned above.

The limited Thanksgiving package will come with turkey, pumpkin pie, and stuffing, which were probably the safest flavors of the lineup.

While they still won’t be available in stores, you can grab a set for $14,99 at the online Kellogg Store, November 6, at 11:59 p.m. EST/8:59 p.m. PST.

This probably won’t replace anyone’s Thanksgiving dinner, especially since a pack costs almost as much as a real turkey, but ironically enough, this could probably make for a cute Christmas gift.
