How A Hungover Dude Got Domino’s Delivered Straight To His Bed

If you’ve ever been hungover to the point where you don’t even want to get out of bed, you can appreciate this guy’s genius strategy.

Out in the U.K., Sam Zegrour was bed-ridden with a “sinister hangover,” unable to move, and eventually got hungry. There was no way he was getting out of bed that day, so he was in quite a dilemma.

Thankfully, he was able to muster up enough brain power to order some Domino’s pizza, give the driver specific instructions, and an explanation for the instructions, all with seven words and an emoji.

“Sinister Hangover Door open Please bring upstairs.” He closed his request with a prayer hands emoji and put in his order, waiting to see what would happen.

Against all odds, it worked. Zegrour snapped a quick photo of the delivery guy in his room with pizzas in hand, as it was a successful delivery.

He posted these photos on Facebook with the caption reading, “Current situation. Not all heroes wear capes.”

Hopefully he tipped the delivery guy well, as he earned it with these heroic efforts.

Kudos To This Genius Who Ordered Pizza Delivery While Stuck On A Stalled Train

If you’re stuck on an Amtrak train for multiple hours on your way home, chances are you’re hungry. In desperate times like these, you gotta take some desperate measures.

That’s what CA Wealth Management co-founder Mitch Katz did on his train ride from NYC to Washington, D.C. this past weekend. The Amtrak ride he was on stalled and passengers had to wait for at least three hours before a rescue train came to collect them. In the meantime, Katz got hungry, and apparently there was no dining car available, so he took matters into his own hands and ordered delivery from a nearby place.

The delivery boy actually hopped a fence and strolled up to the stalled train with Katz’s order, who then offered it up to at least one other person who was tweeting on the train.

Eventually, the rescue train arrived and everyone made it home safely, concluding what has to be one of the more bizarre pizza delivery stories out there. I mean, it’s not every day you’re walking up to a train and trying to figure out which passenger ordered pizza.

Pizza Delivery Guy Once Received Kitten As A Tip, Still Has It 17 Years Later

Delivering pizza isn’t the easiest job, as there’s potential danger on every corner, and the job gets even worse if you don’t get the customary tip.

Reddit user Hyemp posted about his pizza delivery days 17 years ago and talked about a particular delivery where he had to go through that awkward moment when he’s expecting a tip that’s obviously not coming.

While the Papa John’s delivery guy didn’t get anything monetarily, the customer — who only had exact change — handed him a freakin’ kitty instead.

Hyemp admitted that he was a bit, well, intoxicated, and gladly took “Mr. Tips.” From there he delivered the rest of his pizza and kept the feline for the next 17 years.

While it was definitely a strange exchange, you can’t really be too mad at the lack of tip. It looks like the delivery guy made a long-term friend and had no regrets.
