Kraft Creates Limited-Edition Pink Candy Mac & Cheese For Valentine’s Day

When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of romance, candies, flowers, and candlelit dinners. Does pink candy-flavored macaroni and cheese come to mind? Not at all, but I’m willing to go with it.

Kraft has introduced a wildly vibrant pink macaroni and cheese they’re calling Candy Kraft Mac and Cheese

Essentially the base of the macaroni dish is the same. However, the new candy flavor packet turns the iconic dish into a vibrant pink and adds a sweet candy flavor to your bowl.

Not sure how stoked I am about my Mac and cheese coming out sweet and pink, but I’ll keep an open mind.

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to buy these in stores. In honor of Valentine’s Day, the exclusive variation will only be available to 1,000 fans as part of sweepstakes for the holiday.

Restaurant’s Nationwide Offer These Pink Colored Foods For A Good Cause

October may be designated for Halloween and an existential crisis because you are realizing that the year is basically over, BUT more importantly than both of those factors is: breast cancer awareness.

Throughout October, restaurants around the nation are incorporating pink-themed food and drinks, donating those proceeds to breast cancer foundations. Here are some spots to eat and drink pink to support breast cancer awareness.

A giant, pink fortune cookie (hopefully with a big and promising fortune inside), is available at TAO’s several locations in: Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, and New York City (Uptown and Downtown). Enjoy the traditional taste of a fortune cookie, with a twist of white and dark chocolate mousse inside.

This Is The Starbucks ‘Pink Drink’ Everyone’s Going Nuts Over

Starbucks’ secret menu grows bigger with every new item they introduce. With the recent addition of the chain’s Refreshers and coconut milk, some brilliant barista came up with the Pink Drink.

Made with Starbucks’ Strawberry Acai Refresher with just a bit of caffeine taken from Green Coffee Extract, the Pink Drink is mixed with coconut milk (instead of water) to get a creamy beverage boasting a light shade of pink and chunks of strawberry.

While some say it tastes like a lighter version of strawberry milk, others compare the taste to the popular yogurt-based Asian beverage Calpico.

The secret menu item recently hit a surge of popularity on various social media platforms. Starbucks baristas are already bracing themselves for the onslaught of customers requesting the #PinkDrink. At least ours was.

Works for us. Elie seems to like it.

This Sandwich Has Pink Buns For An Important Reason

October marks the beginning of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and one restaurant has a really unique way of observing it. Sessions West Coast Deli, known for their Zephyr Sandwich, will be selling a version all-pink bun.

The Summer Zephyr Sandwich features grilled chicken, marinated tomatoes, wild baby arugula, mozzarella, basil aioli, pickled red onion and a balsamic reduction. The bright-pink French Roll will be made with and all-natural dye.

For every sandwich sold, $1 will go to the Hoag Breast Center in Newport Beach.

This Barbie-Themed Restaurant Is Wall-to-Wall Pink & Features a ‘Barbie Bar’

Hardcore Barbie fans looking to feed their doll addiction have a brand new destination: A Barbie Cafe in Taipei, Taiwan.

The cafe opened its doors on Wednesday to reveal a restaurant fully decked out in Barbie’s favorite color and furnished with all of her favorite accessories. We’re talking tables shaped like stilettos, chairs decorated with tutus, waitresses wearing tiaras, and (of course) everything from the carpets to the menus is wall-to-wall pink.

Customers who want to get as close as possible to Barbie by literally eating her face  can sample the cafe’s variety of Barbie-themed desserts, including macaroons and Barbie cakes. Those who enjoy a more adult form of Barbie worship will be glad to know that the restaurant comes equipped with a fully stocked “Barbie bar” to make every cocktail-infused fantasy come true.

The cafe also offers a select assortment of Barbie merchandise for purchase, because it wouldn’t be a full Barbie experience without the opportunity to drop some cash on accessories.

Mechanically Separated Pink Chicken Goo

Pink velvet ice cream? Or perhaps even strawberry whip cream? If you thought this blob of pink goo was soft serve, you were way off! This is mechanically separated chicken! If you have a weak stomach, don’t read this next sentence and skip down a line or two! The process is as follows, after pureeing, the mixture is crawling with bacteria. It will be cleaned by being washed and soaked with ammonia. Because the taste and color isn’t up to par, they will artificially re-flavor the chicken and dye it a more appealing color! Chickens are turned into this to create delicious chicken nuggets and juicy chicken patties. It is streamlined to make it more efficient but it is borderline gross! I don’t think it is going to stop me from eating it though, what about you? (Thx EOON)

Craving: Tropical Gummy Bears

Gummy bears are definitely one of my favorite candies to eat, the rare times I do have candy. Something about the multitude of artificial flavors being chewed up in your mouth just makes them fun to eat. Oh and if you lick the back and stuff them to someone they’ll stay there for a very long time. That’s always a fun joke to play on your friends, stick one to the back of their neck. (Thx Photoattempts)
