PEEPS Milk Goes National With Two New Flavors

Last year, PEEPS released a line of milk based on the popular snack. The marshmallow candies are molded into the shape of birds and covered in sprinkles. While marshmallow addicts were disappointed to see the drink go, they’ll be pleased to hear that PEEPS milk is officially coming back.

Set to make a national release, Prarie Farms’ PEEPS Milk will be bringing back its Chocolate Marshmallow, Original and Egg Nog flavors.

Two NEW flavors are set to make their debut: Strawberry Creme and Orange Creme. Customers can only find the Orange Creme at Walmart, however.

The original PEEPS milk run was only in select locations.

PEEPS milk hits grocery stores this Spring. The county of Madison, Ill., has also officially declared Feb. 22 as National PEEPS Day.

New Pumpkin Spice Peeps Are Reminding Us That Fall Is Coming

If you’re a fan of Marshmallow Peeps, there’s a new flavor to keep an eye out for. Every fall, brands throw out a bunch of pumpkin-spiced items for a limited time. Looks like Peeps is doing just that.

The new Peeps Pumpkin Spice Dipped Marshmallow Chicks are already stocked online and ready to fill kitchen pantries as soon as you order. However, it might be a few weeks before you’ll find them in stores.

A pack of pumpkin Peeps will cost about $2.75. They’ll be available in retailers beginning Aug. 31.

Peeps Minis Exist and They’re Available Year Round

Marshmallow Peeps are an Easter phenomenon. Unless you’re hoarding those sugary nuggets come Springtime, they’re pretty elusive the rest of the year. But Just Born, the candy’s creators, have groundbreaking news for all Peeps fans: Peeps Minis are now in stores YEAR ROUND.

Sold in resealable bags, Peeps Minis are about 40% the size of their adult counterparts and come in Strawberry Creme, Sour Watermelon and Chocolate Creme. You know what that means – even more delicious ways to eat and drink these bad boys.

A pack of 24 minis are just $2.69, which is hardly anything compared to the sheer joy of having Peeps readily available every single day. Just try not to set them on fire, please.

Easter Sadist Kills Marshmallow Peeps with Fire, Burning Hot Balls of Nickel

You hate eggs, you don’t have kids, but you still want to celebrate Easter. Do you C) set some Peeps on FIRE?

In honor of the most pasteled-out holiday ever, YouTuber carsandwater decided to use his talents for dropping red hot balls of nickel onto shit to destroy a few helpless marshmallows. And let us just say, it. is. awesome. Who would have known the strange satisfaction you can get from watching adorable marshmallow birds curdle away into burnt and unrecognizable puddles of goop?

And if that’s still not enough Easter schadenfreude for you, carsandwater also sets the Peeps on fire, uses them for kindling in a trash can, and fuses them on the grill. Catch the video below to see the Easter-themed sadism in all its glory. You were the kid who used magnifying glasses to kill ants. You know you want to.

New Dunkin’ Donut is Topped with a Whole Marshmallow Peep

There’s just something about spring that makes you wanna run around eating baby birds. Marshmallow Peeps, we mean, and the newest Easter-themed donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts have got all our chick-munching cravings covered.

Starting Monday, March 31, Dunkin’ Donuts is launching two new Peeps donuts, each featuring a flower-shaped yeast donut base, pink or green icing, and — of course — a precious topping of pink or yellow marshmallow chick Peeps.

(Why they didn’t go with the bunny Peeps for Easter, though, is totally beyond us.)

“PEEPS are synonymous with fun and happiness,” said Dunkin’ Brands Executive Chef and VP of ‘”Product Innovation,” Stan Frankenthaler in a press release, “and we are excited to combine two American favorites to create unique flower-shaped donuts adorned with a marshmallow chick that will sweeten any spring or Easter celebration.”

Earlier this week, USA Today reported the once-springtime-exclusive Peeps would also become available year-round in the form of sour watermelon, strawberry creme, and chocolate creme Peeps Minis. Watermelon Peep Donuts for summer? YASPLZ.

New Bubble Gum & Sweet Lemonade Flavored PEEPS Are Summer-Ready

When I think summer, I think lemonade stands and the hot hot sun. Then, I think bubble gum, naturally. Either way, Peeps — the famed marshmallow sugar rushes — are rolling out with new Bubble Gum-flavored Marshmallow Chicks and Sweet Lemonade-flavored Marshmallow Chicks.

Mind you, these are bubble gum-flavored, not Peeps-flavored bubble gum. Sigh. Although, kudos to Peeps for getting us that much closer to being able to swallow our gum without worrying if it really takes 7 years to digest.

The Peeps Sweet Lemonade Chicks feature white marshmallow sprinkled with yellow glitter and come in a 2ct. package (SRP $1.29), while the Bubble Gum Chicks are pink marshmallow inside and out and come in a 10 ct. package (SRP $1.49). Every purchase of  Peeps Sweet Lemonade Chicks will help support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to cancer research, with a portion of proceeds contributed to the cause.

DIY Marshmallow Peep-Infused Vodka

peep marshmallow vodka

The best things in life are free boozy bacon simple. Like this marshmallow Peeps-infused vodka recipe concocted by Nicole of Baking Bites. The process involves two very hassle-free steps: 1) Fill a large jar with Peeps 2) Drown those suckers in some decent vodka. Oh, and then you have to wait 3-4 days to let the whole sugary episode steep.

According to Nicole, it’s worth the wait:

All of the exterior sugar of the marshmallows came right off, and the Peeps partly dissolved, infusing the vodka with a subtle sweetness. So when you taste the vodka, you will get a hint of sugar up front, followed by the flavor of whatever vodka you chose to use.

We’re guessing this peep-infused liquor is less appalling than your average Smirnoff-flavored vodka and more like adding a hint of simple syrup to your drink. Hey, we could get down with that.
