Oreo Now Sells Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches, But Only In The UK

Oreo drops new flavors as often as Russell Westbrook drops triple-doubles, so here we go again, with an intriguing concept from the cookie company, this time involving ice cream.

Behold the Peanut Butter Oreo Ice Cream sandwich.

Of all popular cookies, Oreo has always been the best equipped to transition into an ice cream sandwich, as the Klondike versions have proven. Add peanut butter to the mix, and you’ve got a match made in ice cream heaven.

The new ice cream sandwich is simply described as peanut butter ice cream with Oreo biscuit pieces, and is being sold at U.K. supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Iceland Foods.

It’s a bummer that these aren’t available in the U.S., but like Cal Naughton said in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, “It’s just exciting that we’re trying things like that.”

People have been happily posting about them and apparently have no negative things to say about them.

Needless to say, these need to make their way to the U.S. Depriving American foodies of Peanut Butter Oreo sandwiches is like depriving The Migos from wearing Versace. It’s just not right, and should never happen.
