In the spirit of the season where food establishments everywhere bring to the plate entrees featuring new fish items, Panda Express is no exception. With the introduction of a new Honey Walnut Shrimp, we get to taste afresh tempura shrimp that’s wok-tossed in a gourmet honey sauce and further topped with glazed walnuts. Advertised as a nice combination of “sweet and crispy”. Can’t lie, does sound pretty tempting!
Walking around the fair yesterday I saw a Panda Express booth and it almost seemed out of place to me. But then I remembered no matter how many crazy and good tasting foods there are at the fairgrounds, sometimes a person just wants some good ol’ orange chicken and where better to get it at then Panda Express. I usually serve mine up with a whole bunch of a chow mein and teriyaki chicken with sauce.
Quick Chinese food mogul Panda Express has put Thai Cashew Chicken on their menu. Cashews and spicy cilantro dance in a sizzling wok with all-white meat chicken breast, red bell peppers, onions and strips of scallion. Get yourself a taste of Thailand down the street at the local shopping mall. A 5.5 ounce serving will only set you back 240 calories, 13 g fat and 18 g protein. Also, Panda Express is celebrating their 25th anniversary this Halloween. Congratulations guys! And much respect for a quarter century of putting out mad tasty Orange Chicken and Chow Mein on the cheap.
