Meatball Marinara and Oven Roasted Chicken are Subway’s Featured Subs for February

subwayfootlong

In case flatbread pizzas and Fritos enchiladas aren’t enough to get you through Subway’s smelly doors this month, here’s a breakdown of their featured February subs:

The $5 Footlong is the Meatball Marinara: Italian meatballs drenched in tomato sauce and melted mozzarella that presumably tastes best on the new garlic bread. The $3 Six-Inch Select is the ubiquitous Oven Roasted Chicken, and the $3 Breakfast Combo offers either a coffee or soda plus your choice of Black Forest Ham, Egg & Cheese, or Bacon, Egg & Cheese.

Though, if you are able to resist buying a sandwich with Fritos in it, more power to you.

Subway Thinks We Haven’t Had Enough of the Oven Roasted Chicken, Features it as June’s $5 Footlong

subwayfl

Last month it was the $3 Six-Inch Select sub. The month before that? Also the $3 Six-Inch Select sub (it was March’s, too).

But it seems all the Oven Roasted Chicken love still isn’t over, as Subway has just revealed its favorite poultry dish as this month’s featured $5 Footlong. The sub boasts only 320 calories and features the eponymous oven-roasted chicken and spinach plus your choice of bread and fixings.

Now there’s nothing wrong with this per se, except that with the ORC moving up in the world, there’s no new $3 Six-Inch to take its place. I just wish we could finally have a $5 Footlong worth being excited about (Chipotle Steak and Cheese with Avocado, I’m totally looking at you).

[SUBWAY] The Bacon, Egg & Cheese $5 Footlong, Plus BOGO Any Six-Inch Sub For Breakfast In April

subwayfeatured

Subway news can be very hit and miss. Some days you get bangers like Creamy Sriracha sauce, on others they decide to offer the Oven Roasted Chicken as their $3 Six-Inch Select Sub again.

This month, the build-your-own deli sandwich chain’s featured $5 Footlong is its Bacon, Egg & Cheese, which pretty much speaks for itself and is pictured below:

The Oven Roasted Chicken is still available as a $3 Six Inch Select, as is the Black Forest Ham.

But while none of these combos are particularly mind-blowing, Subway fans might enjoy April’s limited-time breakfast promotion which allows them to buy one and get one free 6” sandwich every day from 7 a.m to 9 a.m. The promotion ran last April as well, perhaps as a subtle reminder to buy breakfast for your poor tax guy, too.

Oven Roasted Chicken, Buffalo Chicken and The Italian Collection Are Subway’s Features for March

Subway-March-Subs-6-inch-Select

We’re super down to start the beginning of each month with some new sandwiches, and this month Subway is making that easy with the introduction of their March features. There’s a new Six-Inch Select for $3 featuring the Oven Roasted Chicken and the month’s $6 Footlong Special —  Buffalo Chicken, which is described as “tender, juicy chicken tossed in bold buffalo sauce, served on freshly baked bread.” Tender, juicy, and bold . . . sounds like the ideal love affair sandwich experience.

And just in case the Buffalo Chicken wasn’t enough to keep you satisfied, Subway is also pushing their Italian Collection, featuring the delicious trio of the Chicken Pizziola Melt, the Italian BMT and the Meatball Pepperoni Melt. We’re sure you’ll be melting with flavor overload in no time.
