Wolfgang Puck Bistro (Orange County)

Wolfgang Puck has always been an interesting fellow. I always found him somewhat arrogant, but being the naive individual I am, I always put my mind to rest that he was probably an outstanding chef, and there was method to his madness. This Saturday, Wolfgang “Ohh Wee Weee” Puck will be making an appearance at his newly remodeled mall eatery, Wolfgang Puck Bistro (South Coast Plaza in Orange County, CA). Our friend Nancy Luna with the OC Register had a moment to sit down and elicit some awesome information from the chef. I’m not normally one for interviews, but the topics are interesting; Puck divulges some of his fast food habits, his insight on Orange County vs. LA vs. San Diego, and that he will be alive for 50 more years, at the very least. Read on, eat on!

New Wahoo's Location in Orange, CA

For fans of Wahoo’s, the city of Orange has announced plans to open its first location at 238 W. Chapman Ave, in Old Town Orange. The taco chain will be moving into the Vineland Home, a structure created in 1886 as the city of Orange’s first hotel. The building, which is currently occupied by Ex-Mormons for Jesus, will begin restoration and construction at the beginning of Summer 09. (Thx FastFoodMaven)

Personally, during my high school years my friends and I often found ourselves taking refuge at the local Fullerton Wahoo’s restaurant for hours at a time, discussing the complexities of who we were asking to the Formal, staring at the endless stickers on the wall and playing paper football while our meals were brought to our table. It is with pleasure I present to you our busy field correspondent, Taylor Corner, and his associate Javie on their lunch time trip to the Savi Ranch location. Let’s jump right in!
