Nacho Fries Are Coming Back To Taco Bell, Just In Time For Summer

Taco Bell just came out with a surprise announcement: Their coveted Nacho Fries are hitting menus once again, just in time for summer.

Starting today, you can find Nacho Fries back on the menu for a limited time. All forms of the Nacho Fries will be returning, which includes the standalone fries with nacho cheese sauce. You can also get the Nacho Fries Supreme and Bell Grande with seasoned beef, tomatoes, and sour cream, and adding fries into any menu item is also an option. There will also be a $5 Box available with the Nacho Fries, alongside a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Doritos Locos Taco, and a medium soda.

This marks the second time this year already that Nacho Fries have come back, and their fourth appearance on the menu in the last two years. They seem to be popping up every six months or so, not counting the extended period of time we got variations like the Rattlesnake Fries as well.

Given how successful they’ve been and the frequency of their reappearance, it may only be a matter of time before Nacho Fries become a permanent menu item. Let’s hope.

Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries Are Officially Back For A Second Limited-Time Run

One of 2018’s most notable fast food power moves was Taco Bell’s addition of Nacho Fries. They instantly became a crowd favorite and were the chain’s biggest launch of all time. However, they didn’t stick around for long, and left the menu by mid-April. Fortunately, we have an official confirmation and date for when Nacho Fries return.

Starting July 12, all three forms of the fries will be back on the menu. That includes the basic fries with cheese sauce for $1.29, Supreme Nacho Fries for $2.49, or BellGrande Nacho Fries for $3.49. The Supreme and BellGrande come with the same beef, nacho cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream as last time (the BellGrande being a bigger version of the Supreme). There will also be a $5 Box featuring the nacho fries, a Doritos Locos Taco, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, and a medium drink.

It also means that you can hack fries into any menu item for an additional 49 cents, just like last time.

Sadly, we won’t be able to add them to the Naked Chicken Chalupa, as a Taco Bell rep told Foodbeast the item will leave menus just before the Nacho Fries return.

Still, I’m pretty stoked that the fries are back, since their flavor and crunch vaulted them into our list of top fast food fries soon after they launched.

It’s not a permanent return, since Taco Bell says they’ll only stick around until early September. At least we get a couple more months to indulge in the chain’s crispy spuds.
