Krispy Kreme Launches New Mini Doughnuts To Help With New Year’s Diets

Can’t commit to an entire donut, especially when trying to keep with that 2020 New Year’s resolution? That’s cool. Krispy Kreme just announced the addition of a new permanent menu item that comes in a petite package: Mini Doughnuts.

The new doughnuts are pretty much miniaturized versions of the chain’s most popular items: Original Glazed, Chocolate Ice Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles.

Since we’re starting a brand new year, the idea is for anyone who craves the taste of a Krispy Kreme doughnut to fill that craving, just at a smaller size. This “mini-indulgence” is Krispy Kreme’s way of helping consumers stick to their New Year’s Diet.

Not going to lie, they look pretty darn adorable too.

Look for them now at participating Krispy Kreme locations across the nation as a new permanent menu item.

Krispy Kreme will also host what they’re calling “Mini Mondays” which is a happy hour from 4-7pm through the month of January where fans will get a free mini donut of their choice. You can get yourself one by checking out one of the participating shops found here.

Watch This Guy Make The World’s Tiniest Omelette

The dude from Miniature Space probably has the steadiest hands of any YouTube personality we’ve ever seen. You kind of have to, if your channel is entirely devoted to cooking tiny food that’s still delicious enough to make our mouths water.

In his latest episode, he tackles the world’s tiniest omelette.

He starts by dicing up some onions and carrots, then sautés them in a tiny frying pan. He adds meat to the frying pan until everything is caramelized and golden brown. The meat and veggies are then removed from the heat and set aside.

The chef then gets to the good stuff, cracking a tiny quail egg and beating it together thoroughly. The frying pan is cleaned and the egg is added to cook. Once the bottom layer is cooked just enough, he adds the meat and veggies to the egg base. Another couple drops of egg is added to the omelette to thicken it up.

Once the omelette is ready, he garnishes it and serves it with some dipping sauce.

Check out the video to see his exact method. It’s a combination of whimsical and informative, in case you need to make an omelet for fairies or something.

Starbucks Is Bringing Back Their Adorable Mini Frappuccino

Last summer, Starbucks introduced the smaller-sized frappuccino to the world, and they ate it up.

Most people gravitated towards it because of its cute, diminutive size or because of they honestly can’t finish a tall Frappuccino. The reason doesn’t necessarily matter…what matters is that people love these little guys.

Screen Shot 2016-05-17 at 3.41.32 PM

The small Frappuccino comes in a 10 oz cup, as opposed to the 12 oz cup that the tall comes in. This slight change in size also comes with a slight change of price,  as the mini Frappuccino will be $.30 less than the tall.

These mini Fraps will likely only be around for the summer, so get ’em while they’re hot! Or cold.

#SpoonTip: You don’t have to like football to like these.

And these babies come together in no time at all. All you need is some store-bought pizza dough, Hunt’s diced tomatoes in sauce (which are peeled using steam from simple hot water, instead of *chemicals), a little cheese and a whole lot of enthusiasm (#goyourteam). Pizza lollipops are sure to be an epic touchdown on your Super Bowl party spread, so get rolling.

Wienerschnitzel Brings Mini Corn Dogs Back, And It’s About Damn Time

Who let the dogs out? Wienerschnitzel let the dogs out. The mini corn dogs that is!

After enduring an orchestra of angry and uproarious mini corn dog fans, Wienerschnitzel eventually decided to appease the frustrated eaters and bring the tasty little treats back to the menu. The initial removal of the corn dogs was way too intense for some twitter users to mentally handle.

To think they could ruin Felipe Gomez’s life like that really shakes me to my core. Fortunately for all the disgruntled fans, the big wigs at the Wienerschnitzel corporate office managed to get those little doggies back on the menu before anyone did anything crazy, like use this incident as the catalyst to start a revolution (which was an actual threat from one particularly annoyed Twitter user). This news was monumental for all the mini corn dog diehards.

Not only are the little guys back, but they are now both cheaper and bigger! The new mini dogs are 24% larger than they used to be. Additionally, they will be sold for a measly ¢25 a piece. That means I can get 200 mini corn dogs for $50, and we all know that would be the best $50 ever spent.

As a complement to this delightful news, Wienerschnitzel has also released a seasonal Green Apple Soda to wash down all that fried, meaty goodness. Now we just need them to bring back those hilarious commercials with the scared hot dog and all will be well in the world again.

Twix Now Available in Mini, Unwrapped ‘Bites’

twixbites

It seems left Twix and right Twix have finally stopped fighting and instead decided to bless the world with a bunch of tiny naked Twix babies. Or something like that.

Like Snickers, Milky Way, and 3 Musketeers before it, Mars brand Twix has repackaged itself into grab bags of bite sized, chocolate caramel and cookie-filled nuggets. A perfectly timed release for a season where reaching into a bag of melted chocolate pieces is the least of anyone’s worries.

Available in packs of 2.83 and 7 ounces, they’re calling it the “biggest” innovation in Twix brand history. We’re not sure if pun intended.
