Watch This Guy Break A World Record For Syrup Drinking In 11 Seconds

You may remember the L.A. Beast making the news a few weeks back for eating DOUBLE the world record for ghost chilis eaten in two minutes.

Well, this time, the competitive eater is in for a slightly sweeter challenge.

The man known as L.A. Beast, Kevin Strahle, just crushed the world record for drinking a bottle of maple syrup in the shortest amount of time possible. The original record was set at an impressive 26 seconds. Compared to the six years it takes us to finish one bottle of syrup, that’s practically a blink of an eye.

L.A. Beast, however, shattered that 26-second record with an insane 10.84 seconds.

In those 11 seconds, we’re reminded of the iconic diner scene in Super Troopers where Throny chugs an entire bottle of maple syrup.

Check out the video above, where the beast finishes that bottle of syrup like it’s iced tea on a summer’s day.

Pumpkin Corn Dog Bites Have Us Drooling Uncontrollably

With football season kicking off, you’re gonna want to have tons of awesome munchies to serve during games. Oh Bite It! created this awesome dish of Mini Pumpkin Corn Dog Bites that’ll pretty much cover your game day cravings.

You start by making a corn dog batter and combining it with pumpkin puree. You can find the recipe, in detail, here.

Then, take a hot dog and coat it in some cornstarch before tossing it into the batter. After applying a generous amount of coating, put the hot dog into the deep fryer and let it cook until it’s a golden brown.

Once it’s done, insert a pretzel stick in them and set your mini dog bites aside too cool and get started on your dipping sauce. Oh Bite It! suggests a sweet maple mustard sauce.

Trader Joe’s Taps Trees To Offer MAPLE WATER

If you’re tired of regular water, coconut water, sparkling water and aloe water, there’s a slightly-sweeter option for you.

Trader Joe’s Maple Water is made from tree sap. Usually when reduced with heat, tree sap turns into maple syrup which most of us drench on our pancakes and waffles. However, if left unreduced, the sap is about 98 percent water.

So pretty much it’ll taste like maple-flavored water.

Heated just enough to pasteurize but not remove all nutrients, the water is a definite option for those looking to change their hydration game up.

Trader Joe’s Maple Water will be available in a 32-ounce contain and will be sold at $2.99.

Trader Joe’s Has Maple Toffee Sunflower Seeds To Snack On

Sunflower seeds have changed since our day. Back then all we had were unsalted, salted, ranch and BBQ-flavored. Trader Joe’s has announced the release of their newest item: Rosemary & Thyme Maple Toffee Sunflower seeds.

We kid you not.

The seeds are coated in a maple syrup and salted butter and fire-roasted until caramelized. They’re then seasoned with spices and herb flavors. Sunflower enthusiasts can find the seeds at Trader Joe’s locations for $1.99.

Excuse us while we make a quick run to the market.
