Pints Of Magnum Now Exist, And You Can Still Break The Chocolate Shell

Magnum made a name for itself  by covering its creamy ice cream bars with milk chocolate shells — and also for being constantly mistaken for the condom brand.

While fans of the ice cream are probably used to eating it in bar form, Magnum has transitioned into actual scoopable ice cream pints, while still somehow keeping its unmistakable chocolate shell.

Yes, the ice cream pint will be surrounded by a chocolate shell that will literally crack when you squeeze the tub, so while the look is a little different, it will still feel very similar.

The Magnum Tubs will come in four flavors; Milk Chocolate Vanilla, Dark Chocolate Raspberry, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut, and White Chocolate Vanilla, which mirror some of the brand’s already established bar flavors.

Magnum first tested out the tubs out in Singapore, releasing three flavors back in the summer of 2017. Those flavors were a bit different than the U.S. launch, though, as they rolled out a Magnum white, classic, and almond flavor.

Now, Magnum fans can rejoice, as they are no longer restricted to the bar and can now freely enjoy the ice cream in sundaes, floats, and any other scoop-worthy concoctions.

Heineken Introduces Magnum Bottle That’s Bigger Than A 40-Ounce

Special for the holidays, Heineken introduced a limited-edition magnum bottle that’s even bigger than a classic 40-ounce of Mickeys.

Magnum Global Releases Silver-Coated Champagne Ice Cream Bars, US Counters with ‘Infinity’ Offering

silver champagne magnum bar europe

Magnum Ice Cream recently celebrated its 25th anniversary globally (and 4th in the US) recently, and to celebrate they’ve released a limited edition, silver-coated Marc de Champagne ice cream bar. For those of you internally asking the question, ‘what the heck is Marc de Champagne?,’ it’s a little misleading. Rather than being a sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France, Marc De Champagne is actually made from the pomace of the grapes resulting in an alcohol that’s similar to a French or Italian Grappa, which can be more brandy-like, less bubbly.

Regardless, it’s booze. Even if it’s only .5%. So find one at the endless amount of Euro magazine stands that seem to proliferate with every waning cobblestone step. For the others internally asking the question, ‘Does digesting silver hurt the body?’ There aren’t any metallic elements in this ice cream nor in the Magnum Gold Bar that debuted at a similar time last year.

So for the rest of us that don’t get to regularly make it over to Europe, Magnum threw us a bone and recently debuted the Chocolate Infinity Bars and Chocolate Infinity & Raspberry Bars here in the US (pictured below). Just in case you haven’t already replaced your significant other with these 11 Over-The Top Chocolate Desserts, the Chocolate Infinity Bars include a dark chocolate ice cream, cocoa bean nibs and a dark chocolate ‘cracking’ outer shell.

MAGNUM Ice Cream Chocolate Infinity BarsIn further gaiety of its 25th global birthday, Magnum hosted a series of nightlife events in conjunction with the Cannes Film Festival that were outfitted with their own pop-up ice cream bar station. Party goers had the chance to customize their own Magnum bar with an assortment of chocolate dips and artisan toppings (e.g. White Chocolate Vermicelli, Rose Petals, Gold Flakes and Real Silver Dust). These pop ups are similar to the temporary retail fronts the brand opened all over the world in previous years including Bryant Park in New York, Milan, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Manila and London. Me hopes they can bring this to the US once again. Please?

Magnum Ice Cream Looking To Make A Grand Entrance Into U.S. Market

Known internationally for their “indulgent taste”, Magum ice cream brand is bringing their signature flavor to the U.S. this April. The same brand who yesterday sent us an Edible Press Release, Magnum’s initiative to bring their product to America in a big way doesn’t stop with sending funky perishable press kits to bloggers.

This morning, the brand announced a partnership with Chanel brand’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, and actress Rachel Bilson to create a short film-series that will debut during the Tribeca Film Festival. More information on this partnership and videos to accompany are available on the newly updated Magnum Ice Cream US website.

The Tastiest Press Release We’ve Ever Received

As a jump-off to our new FOODBEAST channel, we’ll be publishing a periodic recap of the goings-on in our office [/boring]. Today, our morning editorial routines were interrupted when we received this peculiar FedEx package in the mail from a Magnum ice cream company. Peculiar? Press Releases are a dime a dozen, many of which relay how amazing a particular product is, why we should write about it, why the company is the best there is, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Magnum took it one step further, sending us one of the most innovative and frankly put, tasty, press kits we’ve ever received. In an effort to shine light on their looming U.S. expansion, they made sure we got a taste of their delicately crafted chocolate through a press release made entirely of their Belgian chocolate. We’ll recap the brand’s product offerings soon, but until then, here’s a little behind-the-scenes scoop on their marketing initiative:
