This particular image of a Short Rib Kimchi Quesadilla from the Kogi BBQ truck is driving me crazy. This latest feature depicts the origin of this amazingly delicious looking beast, which traces back to the first days of the Kogi truck when someone had called the health department and had the truck shut down for a good 40 minutes as it was inspected by authorities. While they passed the test, they felt bad for those who had to stand by not knowing if they would even be served again, and as a result, this quesadilla was born! I’m craving!
LA Cut Mama Eun’s Galbi meat, fresh kimchi, tofu, egg, avocado, lettuce, tortilla wrap and salsa all come together to make this scrumptious looking breakfast burrito. For more pictures and recipe, hop on over to the Mama Eun website. Until then, keep salivating!
Caramelized kimchi, melted cheddar and jack cheese, salsa verde, two slices of grilled spam on crispy golden brown pieces of toast. The folks over at Kogi BBQ always know how to make me extremely, extremely, hungry!
It’s currently 3:30 a.m. at the time of this posting, and I figure there are a hefty amount of college students out there staying up late to get their finals studying in check! In response, this particular posting goes out to you guys. Here we’re looking at a tasty ham toasted on the grill in conjunction with some kimchi, cheese, lathered up with sesame mayo and and served on a sweet hawaiian roll. The mere idea of these flavors has me drooling. Oh yeah, this is straight from Kogi BBQ! Eat on!
Pork belly topped with dandelion greens kimchi on a sesame leaf. Sweet sauce meets the bitterness of the greens. Korean BBQ, where amazing happens.
I don’t think there’s a week that goes by without someone ranting about the Kogi BBQ truck. I’m sure it’s all in good taste, especially when I get directed to pictures like this of an amazing looking Hawaiian Spam Slider. A beautiful toasted dinner roll, salty-fried Spam, covered in sesame mayonnaise and kimchi. The idea is simple but genius. Eat on! (PicThx PleasurePalate)
