Trader Joe’s Has Turkey & Stuffing Kettle Chips

TJ-Stuffing-Kettle-Chips

Thanksgiving stuffing is one of our all-time favorites sides when it comes to the beloved holiday. If we had to choose just two Thanksgiving staples, it’d be a nice warm bowl of stuffing and maybe a slice of turkey. Because of this, it’s pretty awesome to hear that Trader Joe’s has released a Turkey and Stuffing Seasoned Kettle Chips for the holiday.

Made with thick-cut potatoes that are slowly kettle-cooked, the chips are seasoned with a blend of turkey and stuffing flavors. They’re calling it Thanksgiving on a chip.

We’re definitely lazy enough to appreciate the flavorings of an entire meal on a single chip. Especially when it gets us hyped for the holiday.

The chips come in a 7-ounce bag for $1.99.

At Fancy Food Show and Expo West this year, Foodbeast discovered, to our surprise, that other Sriracha-based items existed in the world that wasn’t from the widely popular Huy Fong brand. Well, color us red. Between varying types of Sriracha sauces, condiments, snacks and even seasoning, it definitely looks like there could be some potential contenders for the Sriracha belt. Crunchy Kettle Sriracha Chips Hit Shelves Just in Time for #Srirachapocalypse

sriracha-kettle-chips

You’ve probably heard about the impending Sriracha shortage by now, with die-hards stocking up apocalypse-style on the iconic red and green bottles. Looking to mitigate the rooster sauce withdrawals fans will soon be facing, Kettle Potato Chips debuted their own brand of Sriracha-flavored snacks.

The new Sriracha chips are set to hit shelves mid-January (note: shipment of Huy Fong’s Sriracha is on halt until mid-January) and offer the popular chili, garlic and vinegar flavor paired with the brand’s signature crunchy texture. At the moment, the spicy chips are available in 5-packs  on the company’s site. If the Sriracha apocalypse happens, these chips seem like just the thing to munch on while kicking back on the couch with a bottle of Sriracha vodka. Hey, if the world’s going to end in spicy flames, why not?

Mango Habanero Joins Hawaiian Kettle Chip Family

The Hawaiian Kettle Chips have been around a long time. So long, in fact, I’ve been in love with the Sweet Maui Onion flavor since middle school. The Original was a good pick during high school since it didn’t leave too much of a mess in my mouth or hands. I’ve recently gotten into the Luau BBQ as I started going to college. Great flavors, great chips.

And now that a new Mango Habanero flavor will be added into the mix, I feel like I’m finally able to begin a new chapter in my life. The chips are slow cooked and seasoned with sweet and spicy care.

Kettle Brand Chips: 40% Less Fat 40% Less Fun?

Back when Light Mayo came around, the world was up in arms. But then everyone realized it tasted pretty much the same, and we didn’t breath as hard going up a flight of stairs. Now Kettle Brand Sea Salt Potato Chips is putting out a 40% reduced fat product.

While it probably won’t taste the same as a bag with the full fat content, it’s pretty sure to taste just as close. There is, however, a 45-milligram increase in the sodium content as a trade off to the fat reduction. So I guess slimming down means raising blood pressure. A small sacrifice, but I guess a fair one in the name of health.

It’s worth trying at least one bag, don’t you think?
