These Are The Jones Sodas You Can ONLY Get At 7-Eleven

Jones-711

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven has partnered with Jones soda to create an exclusive line for the beverage brand.

The five new flavors are Twisted Citrus (lemon, orange and lime), Fruit Loose (cherry, orange, pineapple and lemon), Cocolocolilinut (Coconut, pineapple, mango and Hawaiian lilikoi), Tropical Slam Rambutan (passionfruit, pineapple, guava and tropical rambutan) and Bluesberry Smash (raspberry, cherry and strawberry).

Made with natural flavors and a light amount of cane sugar, the Jones soda boasts that it’s no ordinary soda.

Jones’ 7-Select premium sodas are only available at participating 7-Eleven locations in the United States. It seems the five flavors will be the first of many as customers can hashtag #7SelectxJones and throw out suggestions for new flavors.

Might we suggest Chili Cheese Caramel?

Jones Soda Somehow Made A ‘Birthday Cake’ Flavored Soda

Jones-Birthday-Cake-Soda

This year, Jones Soda is turning 20. In celebration of this, Brand Eating reports the popular soda brand is releasing a limited edition Birthday Cake-flavored soda for the momentous occasion.

Wonder if they’ll be a noticeable birthday cake flavor or if we’ll just taste sugar? Either way, cool.

Thanks for a healthier approach, this new beverage will feature 5 percent less sugar than the original recipe. This goes for pretty much all the staple Jones Can Sugar Soda.

Patrons can get their hands on the birthday cake soda starting in February. They’ll be available in select locations. You can also purchase the beverage online. A pack of 12 bottles goes for $26 before tax.

Jones Soda Goes Diet – Launches ‘Stripped’ Soda and Sparkling Water

Jones-Stripped

While wandering ExpoWest this year, we spotted a friendly site at one of the booths: Jones Soda. As a kid, we remember Jones as a rare find in the occasional convenience store. Now, they’re sold practically everywhere. It looks like the soda brand will be adding two new varieties to their line: Jones Stripped and Jones Sparkling Water.

Stripped will feature all the aesthetics that make Jones so widely popular: the colorful labeling, random hipster photographs and colorful soda (though the Stripped line is clear). However, the new soda will boast only 30 calories compared to its original counterpart. Made with natural sweeteners, Stripped will be available in Orange Mango, Lemon Lime, Green Apple, Cherry, Chipotle Pineapple and Huckleberry.

Jones-Water

Jones will also debut a new sparkling water. It will be available in Strawberry Lime, Fufu Berry, Green Apple and Berry Lemonade. The water is said to be made with natural flavors, zero grams of sugar and will carry zero calories.

The sparkling water is currently being tested at select Target locations in 8-ounce cans, but will soon see a wider release.

Jones Soda Hops on Back-to-School Bandwagon with Peanut Butter & Jelly Soda

jonespbj

It was a sad day when I discovered Disneyland had discontinued its regaled peanut butter and jelly soda. Subtle, sweet, vaguely salty, it reminded me of playground days without the saccharine aftertaste of Kool-Aid. Thankfully, the fine fellows from Jones Soda have stepped in to fill the void.

PB&J soda has been done in the past, but the flavor is a brand new addition for Jones, who released  it just in time for the new school year. Currently available in Canada and coming to the U.S. in Harmons, Hastings, Associate Food, and Cost Plus World Market Stores by September, the peanut butter and grape jelly-flavored drink is also completely safe for people with peanut allergies. No real peanuts or peanut materials were harmed in the making of this pop.

Now, knowing this thing exists, you have a few options. You could A) ignore it B) reminisce sadly about your childhood or C) buy some, make yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and also pick up an ice cream version for yourself at Cold Stone. Sharing with your kids = completely optional.
