Baskin-Robbins Debuts New Inside Out Apple Pie Ice Cream Flavor

Photo: Baskin-Robbins

Baskin-Robbins is debuting a new Inside Out Apple Pie flavor as it’s September Flavor of the Month. This intriguing flavor is a swirled vanilla ice cream and apple ice cream that’s loaded with apple and pie crust pieces then finished with a ribbon of cinnamon brown sugar.

I know ice cream during the colder months doesn’t hit quite like it does when you’re sweating it out from June to August, but this flavor really does sound like the perfect fall time treat.

The Inside Out Apple Pie flavor will be available at participating locations nationwide starting September 13, 2021 alongside the return of the fav-favorite Quarterback Crunch flavor just in time to ring in football season.

A freakin’ adorable new ice cream cake that looks just like a Poké Ball is being sold at participating Baskin-Robbins locations in Japan. Dubbed the Pokémon Surprise Cake, it’s divided into three sweet sections: chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla.

Besides the overall cuteness of this dessert, the added appeal is what’s inside. Slice open this festive ice cream cake to reveal an inner filled with yellow Pikachu cookies.

For the Pokémon fans reading this, I know you’re hyped to try this fun new dessert. So know that they’re only at Baskin-Robbins locations in Japan and have a limited run until the August 31, 2021.

This Thai Tea S’Mores Ice Cream Could Be The Flavor of the Summer

Campfires just hit different during the summer. And a large part of that has to do with s’mores being in the equation. Reimagined versions of the fireside treat popping up in ice cream form have always been a welcome addition to the season, but twists on that will be in demand, too.

Which is why the Thai Tea S’mores ice cream flavor from Malt Creamery in San Diego, California was met with universal approval from fans of the shop. The innovative flavor starts with a Thai tea and graham cracker base with dark chocolate bits and marshmallow creme, making for a combination that intrigues every last bit of our palate.

The flavor is limited, and understandably, in high demand, so make sure to secure your pint ASAP.

PEBBLES Has Ice Cream Made From Actual Cereal Milk

PEBBLES is celebrating their 50th birthday in a big way this year by re-imagining their iconic Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles cereals in ice cream form — and they’re made with actual cereal milk!

This new Fruity PEBBLES light ice cream starts with a fruity cereal milk light ice cream base that’s blessed with rice cereal bits coated in fruity flavors and a fruity swirl. The Cocoa PEBBLES light ice cream version is made with both chocolate and cereal milk light ice creams swirled with chocolatey rice cereal pieces.

These new ice creams claim to have half the fat and one-third fewer calories than regular ice cream, to which I’m tempted to call cap. But according to the labels, both contain 150 calories per two-third cup serving and are available in a 48-ounce container.

Okay, I’m all in.

PEBBLES new light ice creams are sold for a suggested retail price of $5.99. Fruity PEBBLES light ice cream is also available in a 14-ounce container for $2.99.

Rugrats the cartoon is turning 30 this year. Typing and saying it aloud really has me feeling washed, but I’m instantly cheered up knowing that Tommy Pickles and friends are being celebrated via a new Reptar Ice Cream Bar from New York’s Milk and Cream Cereal Bar.

The dessert spot is using the mighty Reptar as inspo for a themed menu that includes a sundae topped with a blend of Reptar Cereal and vanilla ice cream, a Reptar Slushie made with mango popping bubbles and as pictured above, the Roaring’ Rocky Road Reptar Ice Cream Bar.

All you 90s babies can converge on Milk and Cream Cereal Bar this Friday July 16 to get in on the sweet Reptar action.

Cold Stone’s Classic Ice Cream Flavors Are Being Turned Into Popcorn Mix

Photos courtesy of Sweet Chaos

Cold Stone is taking some of its favorite ice cream flavors and transforming them into kettle corn snack mixes.

The creamery’s new partnership with snack mix maker Sweet Chaos blends together Kettle Corn, drizzles, and other snack elements to make a trail mix-like concoction that heavily leans on the sweet side.

Each of the three flavors contains a blend of kettle corn, pretzel sticks, and cookie bites. Based on the variety, they are then drizzled and garnished.

Cold Stone’s Chocolate Devotion mix uses milk and dark chocolate drizzles, the Birthday Cake remix milk and white drizzles with rainbow sprinkles, while the Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip version uses milk and mint chip drizzles to coat the entire snack set.

All of these snack mix varieties are now available for purchase through the Sweet Chaos website.

Smucker’s Launches Unicorn Magic Shell That Tastes Like Cupcakes

Throwing Magic Shells on top of ice cream is one of the more fantastical memories of my youth, hearkening back to after-school snacks in front of the TV set.

Smucker’s has introduced a new flavor to their Magic Shell lineup that encapsulates just that magic.

The new Unicorn Magic Shell features the rich taste of white cupcakes paired with multicolored sparkles. Like all its predecessors, the new Magic Shell is to be poured on top of your ice cream. It’ll then instantly harden, creating a sweet casing that can be cracked open and enjoyed with your dessert.

You can find the new Unicorn Magic Shell in stores nationwide now.
