Street Taco Toilet Spray Exists And It SOLD OUT Fast

A couple years back, toilet spray company Poo-Pourri announced an April Fool’s scent called Street Tacos. An innocent jest that had no foothold in reality — or so it seems. Turns out fan reactions to that announcement were so strong, however, that it left the company reconsidering their prank.

Fast forward two years later, Poo-Pourri’s launched their Street Tacos scent as a real-life flavor that fans could actually purchase.

Released on April 1, which happened to infamously fall on April Fool’s Day, the scent sold out in two hours. Fans who remembered the April prank were chomping at the bit to get their hands on the novelty scent.

The scent profile boasts a citrus zest that’s paired with notes of savory taco seasoning, onion, garlic, and black pepper.

Managing to grab a bottle, we can honestly say that the spray definitely has aromatic notes.

No word yet on whether Poo-Pourri plans on re-releasing the Street Taco scent again in the near future. A comment from a Poo-Pourri spokesperson, however, mentions that the limited-edition scent exceeded expectations.

“We never say never here at Poo-Pourri!”

I’d say the chances of us seeing this for sale again in the near future are pretty good.

KFC Apologizes For Chicken Shortage With Cheeky Ad

A post shared by ABU (@abu_is_real) on

Recently, Kentucky Fried Chicken locations in the United Kingdom found themselves a little deep-fried after shutting down their stores due to a severe shortage of chicken.

About 750 of their locations closed in the UK, due to distribution issues. While KFC scrambled to find some much-needed poultry, the marketing for the fried chicken chain decided to lighten the situation a bit with a hilarious apology, GrubStreet reports.

The ad moved the “K” behind the “FC,” spelling “FCK” on the brand’s bucket in bold letters. It was then followed by an apology. KFC’s full-page graphic ran in the Sun and Metro papers this past week.

While most of the stores have reopened, some locations are still taking a little longer to get the supply they need. Until then, chicken-hungry fans will just have to wait.

Loving Wife Sends Husband Popeyes Through Capsule Pipeline For Lunch

In a lifetime, you find that timeless love. You know, the one that syncs up perfectly with your quirks to form this Megazord adults like to call a healthy relationship.

Such a love was revealed by Popeyes to warm the chilly hearts of Facebook in an awesome video from a woman named Colleen Loria, who posted footage of her sending her husband some lunch.

First of all, anyone who gets their significant other fried chicken for lunch should be commended in our book, but this lady got creative.

In Loria’s post, she mentions that her husband works at a bank. Being in New Orleans, she states it’s too cold to get out of the car and walk up to his office. What’s she to do faced with such a dilemna? She sends his lunch through a capsule pipeline or pneumatic tube, of course.

Pneumatic tubes were designed for the transportation of small, urgent, items such as paperwork or money through the assistance of compressed air at places like banks or other businesses that require a high volume of paperwork. Tubes, like the one shown, were likely placed outside so couriers wouldn’t have to go through an entire campus as long as they knew where the tubes needed to be sent. Those tubes also work for sending Popeyes, it seems.

As someone who is recently engaged, this is goals.

This Chick-fil-A Inspired Rap is Our New Sunday Anthem

Admit it; we’ve all had that feeling of hunger pangs and disappointment at your Chick-fil-A dreams being dashed simply because it’s Sunday. Those unfulfilled not-so Sunday Funday cravings leave us wondering, “Isn’t it supposed to be their pleasure to serve us?”

Most of us curse the fast food gods for being so cruel, shaking our fists to the sky while simultaneously hitting up the nearest Mickey D’s drive-thru to get some semblance of a nugget fix.  But for Shama Mrema, he took his Chick-fil-A defeat to the next level by penning a rap professing his love for the chicken chain.

In a music video obviously shot on a Sunday outside an empty Chick-fil-A location, Mrema waxes poetic about his weekend woes, lamenting over his lack of mini sandwiches and sweet tea. Mrema’s Drake-like simping speaks to our waffle fry-loving hearts with lyrics like “Chick-fil-A sauce so good like it was made by G-O-D.” Seriously, that sauce is like crack.

Like Mrema, we’ll have to”drink [our] own tears till 6 a.m. Monday” until we’re reunited with that glorious chicken biscuit.

Anytime you see the word “still” on a post involving couples, there’s a good chance they were just in an argument, or have argued about whatever the thesis of the post was. Like, “I might be a handful, but he STILL loves me and I love him.” Or “Even though we’re both busy, we STILL find time for each other.” Even when you’re quoting Kanye, “I don’t care what none of y’all say, I STILL love her,” we know you just had a fight and jumped on social media to help put out the fire with that loving “still” post, and a picture of the two of you kissing on a random previous date night. . . . Anyway, we got super intimate with this Australian Wagyu Ribeye from @bartongla. Definitely one of the top 3 steaks I’ve ever had. 🐂🔥🔥🔥 #foodbeast #bartong #tryitordiet #steak #tomahawk #mediumrare #perfect #truelove #dailyfoodfeed

This Cooking Show Parody May Be The Darkest, Most Hilarious New Series We’ve Seen

Practically every time we go on YouTube, we find ourselves drawn to some kind of cooking series. While not the best home cook by any means, we can more than appreciate a good instructional video. To our delight, we discovered a new series to subscribe to.

You may remember David Ma, the innovative director behind food series such as Jeff’s Table, Food Films, and SuperHands. Teaming up with Brian Haimes, who comes from the world of animation and puppetry, the two co-created this innovative new cooking series simply called Food Kitchen.

The series is described as a dark take on the boring, clean-cut cooking show. The twist is that the foods are talking puppets that can feel everything happening to them, though there’s not much they can do about it. Characters include a masochistic pepper, an overly emotional onion, a wise-cracking chicken breast, and even a killer knife with a split personality.

Only a few seconds into this new series and we’re already hooked. We always felt the food world needed more dark humor, and it looks like we now have it.

Can’t wait to see what the next episode has in store.

KFC Sent This Epic Portrait To The Guy Who Spotted Their 11 Herbs & Spices Gag

A few weeks ago, an eagle-eyed fan spotted something curious about Kentucky Fried Chicken’s Twitter page. The account only followed 11 people: 6 dudes named Herb and 5 Spice Girls. Eleven herbs and spices. Brilliant.

For that fan who Sherlock’d this gag, KFC had a special treat.

The fried chicken chain commissioned this epic portrait of @edgette22 being carried by the late Colonel Sanders. Truly an epic sight.

The painting is said to be made by ad agency Wieden+Kennedy, the same folks who worked on the Old Spice commercials.

Man, we hope KFC does another low-key gag soon. We’d love to hang a custom portrait like this over our bed. Gives us something to stare at while thoughts of extra crispy thighs sing us to sleep.
