We’re looking at a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich utilizing Hostess Ho Hos as the bun. Excuse the “in the wild” photography, but the reason we didn’t recreate this and photograph it properly like our creations is because the idea and execution of this particular sandwich came after a long night of drinking and a major late-night sweet tooth. We almost forgot we had made, eaten and subsequently used our phone to photograph this creation until Taylor did a cleanup of his iPhone. It’s almost like finding a $20 bill in your pants on laundry day. Almost.
Madeleines are one of the desserts that look just as good as they taste. Being known for their soft cake like texture, they originally hail from France and are notorious for their shell-shaped exterior. Traditional recipes call for ground nuts, almonds or even variations of lemon zest for a pronounced lemony taste. However, like most of the things we get our hands on, there are always modern twists on classic favorites. Which is why these Chocolate Madeleines are to die for!
