Twinkies Adds Ghostbuster-themed Flavor To Hype Upcoming Film


The new Ghostbusters movie is a little more than a month away and promotions are starting to kick into gear for the franchises’ reboot. Hostess, best known for their iconic Twinkies, teamed up with Sony Entertainment to release these rad looking Key Lime Slime Twinkies.

Almost identical to a regular Twinkies, the new flavor boasts a bright green, lime-flavored creme filling.

You can find the limited-edition Ghostbuster Twinkies available at grocery stores nationwide. You’ll probably want to hurry, though. Whether or not the movie does well, these spooky-scary Twinkies look pretty damn cool.

Ghostbusters hits US theaters July 15.

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Reacts To That Awful Ghostbusters Trailer

The recent trailer for the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot has been met with less than favorable response. Since then, numerous reactions have been posted on YouTube to the trailer.

One of our favorite one comes from the villain of the original movie itself, the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. The fictional mascot of a marshmallow snack from the Ghostbuster universe was a giant throne in our heroes’ sides in the classic film.

Now, he sits down to watch the new trailer.

Check out his hilarious and subtle reactions to every moment shown. Currently, the trailer has more than 25 million views and more dislikes than likes.


Who knows though, maybe they’re just saving the good stuff for the actual movie. Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15.


First Look: This Is What The New Hi-C ECTO COOLER Looks Like

A couple months ago Coca-Cola casually scooped up the trademark rights to the 80s favorite Hi-C Ecto Cooler drink. Well, now we’ve got a visual as a prototype was spotted on E-Bay, with “Ghostbusters. Only in Theaters” printed right on the can.

While that might mean that the drink will only be around to promo the new Movie, at least we’re getting the classic citrus-flavored drink back into our 80s-loving hearts.

The can itself still rocks the classic highlighter green, yellow and orange that was prominent in the original drink.


As visible in the nutritional facts, it will contain 10 percent juice, 100 percent vitamin C, with a total of 150 calories per can.


Hopefully they’ll make some last minute adjustments and throw the cartoon Slimer on the can, just to fully represent the old school feel.

We’ll let you all know when we get word on an official release for this flashback drink.

Ghostbuster’s Krispy Kreme Doughnuts


If every time someone asks, “Who you going to call?” you still respond with, “Ghostbusters!” then this doughnut was essentially tailor made for you.

Krispy Kreme announced they’re collaborating with Sony Pictures and selling two Ghostbusters-inspired doughnuts from Sept. 29, to Oct 31. One of the doughnuts is molded after the iconic movie logo with the censored ghost and a Slimer inspired green splat. The second doughnut is the just-as-iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow man the Ghostbusters saved the city from. Both are filled with marshmallow cream and topped with white icing. The only difference is the pictured decoration.

Of course this is not just a random promotion, as Ghostbusters is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a blu-ray release of the iconic sci-fi comedy as well.

As long as you ain’t afraid of no ghost, these look pretty damn good.
