Animals Hit-Or-Miss Video

Cats Apparently Love To Steal Wendy’s Chicken Nuggets

It doesn’t take rocket science to know that pets love to steal food. For the most part, watching animals steal food is quite entertaining — as long as it’s not your food that’s being stolen.

So, it’s no surprise Twitter is blowing up over a video of a cat expertly stealing a Wendy’s Chicken Nugget.

Twitter user @lindseycabales, posted a video of her cat, Zach, grabbing a Wendy’s chicken nugget without permission. The video, posted on July 22, has since made this famished feline famous. The original tweet now has more than 30K retweets and north of 40K likes. Which seems to be a lot for a five second cat video.

But, apparently, Zach isn’t the only cat that likes nuggets. Twitter users began uploading videos of their cats stealing nuggets, fries, and other human food items.

Twitter user @claire_mcnugget‘s cat seems to like nuggets.

@666Melon’s cat is a fan of fries.

@kaylynweaverr’s cat steals plastic forks for some reason.

@xourt’s is another nugget lover.

Despite the cat’s human-like grabbing technique, Lindsey claims she did not allow her pet to ingest the nugget, as she admitted being in an inebriated state, and wasn’t in the mood to share.

Although, there’s a subsequent tweet that contradicts Lindsey’s account of the evening. At 6:41 a.m., on July 26, Lindsey tweeted to Wendy’s claiming that Zach “loved” their chicken nuggets.

So, considering her tweet, it remains unclear if the cat actually ate it. Either way, there’s no denying the level of cuteness in this now viral video.

However, the video did spark conversation about whether or not feeding a chicken nugget to a cat should be considered animal abuse. Judging by the initial video, it’s safe to assume Lindsey is looking out for the best interest of Zach. Although, as long as chicken doesn’t have bones that a cat can choke on, it’s safe for feline consumption.

Thanks for the laughs, Zach!

New FOODBEAST Spots Find Parallels Between Low-Cal Ice Cream And Taboos

FOODBEAST recently created a few spots that lean into “first time” taboo moments we can all relate to. Ice cream itself may be considered taboo amongst healthy snack enthusiasts, so for Halo Top‘s low-calorie ice cream to be the punchline of a new series was quite fitting. Halo Top is seemingly and unanimously co-signed by the Internet as a darling of the health food category, with GQ even calling it a “Magical, Healthy Ice Cream.”

We are all familiar with the trepidation that comes along with indulging in our favorite vices however, there’s nothing more liberating than being able to overcome some type of underlying hesitation and stepping outside of your comfort zone to experience something new.

As these sketches ride the familiarity and wonder of certain coming-of-age experiences, be on the look out for the plot twists…

The First Timer

There’s nothing more memorable than a first-time experience. The pulse-racing anxiety, coupled with the exhilarating fear of the unknown, can lead to a rollercoaster of emotions. In this sketch, the shaken and nervous first-timer (Noah Grossman), gains enough courage to try it for himself. Alas, with the help of his “friend” (Madeleine Byrne), he discovers his first magical moment with Halo Top.

The Rotation
There’s a first time for everything, still regardless of the lack of experience, there’s a societal understanding about the unwritten laws of social expectations one must live up to, and never mess up. After a first time experience, the social and interpersonal anxieties are still present — it’s an awkward phase, where it’s new, but most comfortable in a group setting. The rotation sketch places the viewer in a familiar first-person perspective, as four friends indulge with some Halo Top in privacy — all while adhering to the standard rule of scoop, scoop, pass.

One Enterprising And Hungry Bride Created A Gown Out Of Taco Bell Wrappers

One woman wants to win the Taco Bell wedding contest so badly, she has fashioned a dress as tribute to the fast-food chain

The wedding industry meets Crunchwrap couture.

Here comes the bride, all dressed in… the remnants of yesterday’s fast-food lunch?

Last month, Taco Bell announced that they would be hosting a contest for one lucky couple to get married at Taco Bell in Las Vegas, and one woman is determined to win. Diane Nguyen entered the social media contest wearing a surprisingly chic wedding dress made entirely from Taco Bell burrito wrappers. We can’t say whether we’re befuddled or impressed at such an ardent dedication to Mexican fast-food, but perhaps it’s a hearty mixture of both.

The couple even submitted a cheeky photoshoot holding hands over the counter at their local Taco Bell.

“IT’S TIME TO VOTE!!!!!!!! We didn’t know until recently that it was our dream to get hitched at a Taco Bell,” Nguyen said in an Instagram post. “We also didn’t know about this contest until we were out of the country and halfway around the world. With help from our friends and a bit of extra hot glue we got off the plane and immediately scrambled to shoot a photo at our local restaurant before the deadline.”

Taco Bell will be announcing the winners later this month after voting ends on March 5. We imagine if Nguyen comes up empty, she’ll have some beef with Taco Bell… but guac’ you gonna do about it?

Miscommunication Leads To This Hilarious Graduation Cake F*** Up

I can’t begin to tell you how many hilarious pictures of messed up cakes I’ve seen over the years, and every single one of them resulting from some form of miscommunication, from somebody’s cake saying, “Congratulations (in smaller letters)” on it to “Just Put Happy Birthday On The Cake”.

In my opinion though, the one I’m going to show you right meow takes the cake, pun intended.

Redditor Scaarleet uploaded a photo of a graduation cake that not only was messed up in grand fashion, but also in a way that makes anyone who sees the picture wonder how hammered the baker must have been when he took the order.

In case you haven’t realized yet, here’s what the title of the Reddit post said:

My mom ordered a graduation cake with a cap drawn on. I guess they misheard.

Moral of the story: if you ever want to have a customized cake made, be sure to write down exactly what you want, and not in cursive either, or else you might end up with a cat on your head.

Dude Unwittingly Fuels A Stereotype After Buying A Craft Brewery Shirt

It’s always best to check and double check all of your items when shopping, just to make sure you didn’t pick up the wrong thing, something I’ve done multiple times. That’s one lesson Reddit user HoustonUA6 learned in quite possibly the funniest way one could.

According to the Reddit page, HoustonUA6 was out shopping when he saw a shirt that he liked. Evidently, he saw the “Red” and the “White” part and assumed the third word was “Blue.” Without unfolding the shirt and getting a visual confirmation, he grabbed his size and headed out. It was only when he got home that he had realized the hilarious mistake he made.

Screen Shot 2016-07-26 at 2.55.44 PM

Instead of buying a shirt that said “Red White + Blue,” he bought a shirt praising American craft breweries that read, “Red White + Brew.”

For those who don’t know, there is a stereotype that purports that Asian people commonly confuse the pronunciations for the letters “l” and “r.” HoustonUA6 already knows about this stereotype, but that didn’t stop him from still having fun with his little blunder.

“You know how when you buy a shirt and it’s typically folded? I should have unfolded it. Being Asian does not herp,’ said HoustonUA6.

All things considered, many Redditors agreed that he was lucky the shirt just said “Brew,” as it could have said much worse things.

One user surmised that it could have said, “RED WHITE + FUCK YOU,” while another thought that, “RED WHITE + HITLER DID NOTHING WRONG,’ would be worse still. Somehow, both users were right.

Proof That This Dude Can Eat A Hot Dog Faster Than Anyone

Move over Kobayashi. Take a seat Matt Stonie. Joey Chestnut, who? Get ready to meet the king of hot dog eating. Or shooting, as he describes it. Trust me, you’ve never seen anything like this before.

It’s been said that there are strange things on the internet. Very strange things. However, this video turns the word “strange”  into a hot dog, then a dude wearing a red bandana and sunglasses orally vacuums the hot dog into his body, only to spit it back out seconds later. Yes, it’s that weird.

You probably were not ready for that. If you’ve stopped laughing by now, we can resume our breakdown of this craziness.

The man claims he is the world’s fastest hot dog shooter — insinuating he’s done this before. Secondly, the vacuum sound he makes as he inhales the raw dogs back into his esophagus is almost mechanic. It’s unclear why he attempts this “trick” but, it doesn’t seem to bother the woman dressed in black who is on a cell phone behind him.

“World’s fastest hot dog shooter — in the Northwest — I-I-I-I’ve never seen anyone be able to do this. I can do it quick.”

*INHALES ONE RAW HOT DOG*

“I’m just sayin…'”

If you notice, he’s swinging his arms around so loosely, a single raw hot dog is actually thrown out of the package.

“We’re goin’ viral with this one!” – Self-proclaimed world’s fastest hot dog shooting man.

The video, posted by YouTube account FunnyNewsBloopers, slows down at one point to capture the man wearing the red bandana vacuum down 5 consecutive hot dogs. It’s in slow motion, but it can’t take more than 10 seconds.

Although it’s quite a talent, someone should check his locker and pockets for performance enhancing drugs.

This Bakery Charges People Based On Their Pokemon GO Team

In the past few days, the entire nation has been double-slapped, low kicked and karate chopped by the emergence of (quite possibly) the most quickly and widely downloaded app of all time: Pokemon GO.

The GPS-based game has been a phenomenon in terms of both popularity and practical benefit. Not only have people been going outside and walking around more, but many kids even claimed that it has helped with their depression, giving them a reason to go outside again.

Well, each player is required to run around and catch pokemon. Once you’ve done enough of that, you reach level 5, and at that point you choose a team to represent. The three teams are the fire bird Moltres of Team Valor (Go Valor!), the electric bird Zapdos of Team Instinct, and the ice bird Articuno of Team Mystic. Admittedly, the most obnoxious people join Team Valor, and we love it that way.

Screen Shot 2016-07-11 at 2.49.56 PM

One obnoxious Team Valor member also happens to run a bakery in Toronto and posted this sign outside of his window. Redditor Dubiono was able to catch the sign and share its glory with the wide world of Pokemon and their trainers.

Screen Shot 2016-07-11 at 2.52.22 PM

Although the owner likely put the sign up as a joke, nobody knows for sure, as the seriousness that people approach this game with is unprecedented. Still, the message is clear: his team is the only one that matters.

The common misconception amongst all players is that Team Valor members are neanderthals, Team Mystic members are lame and Team Instinct members are idiots. While this is untrue (for the most part), they certainly nailed it with me and Team Valor.

Drinkers Pay Homage To Pregnant Women In This Hilarious Beer Ad

People love to tell pregnant women “you’re glowing,” yet every time I’m drunk and my belly is hanging out of my shirt, people say, “You’re showing.” Double standard, right? I know, totally.

One German beer company is working to break those double standards by reminding men that just because they don’t house humans in their bellies, doesn’t mean that housing beer is any less precious or meaningful.

According to boredpanda, Bergedorfer Bier teamed up with a German advertising agency called Jung von Matt and created an advertisement that appealed to the average beer drinker, one that might have a bit of a belly, or as Americans now like to call it, a “dad bod.”

The best part of this entire series is the way these men gently cradle their bellies and delicately safeguard their nipples. The ad’s slogan is “Brewed with love,” giving even more hilarious meaning to the loving poses.
