For One Day, Wendy’s Is Giving Away Free Nuggets With No Strings Attached

If a warm hug had to be equated into a food, it would most definitely be some type of fried chicken.

With the world being a bit more tense these days, Wendy’s is taking a break from its sassy Twitter presence and taking a beat to help commend those in the frontlines taking care of their communities right now.

Because everyone needs a little bit of love, more so than ever these days, the fast food chain has announced what they’re calling a GroupNug.

On this GroupNug, taking place April 24, Wendy’s will be giving away a free 4-piece Chicken Nugget order to every car that comes through the chain’s drive-thru. No purchase is necessary at all, just free nuggets. Customers can have their choice of Wendy’s regular crispy nuggets, or the ever-popular spicy nuggets.

Anyone interested in getting their free nuggets can drive through any participating Wendy’s location nationwide to get their four-piece. Just keep in mind that with folks coming out to get their free chicken, there will likely be crowds (even if they’re in cars). Be safe and be conscious of workers risking their lives to serve you.

Hooters Is Giving Out Free Wings to Single People on Valentine’s Day

Most Valentine’s Days spent single are passed in a concentrated effort to forget your ex but, on this year’s Valentine’s Day, Hooters is asking for your remembrance of what was.

On February 14th, during the yearly reminder of our societal obligation to companionship, Hooters is offering up the chance to get 10 free boneless wings. The only condition is you must bring in a picture of your former significant other to be shredded, because people still shred pictures like it’s a mid-2000’s lowbrow romcom, evidently.

But, if you’re living in 2020 like the rest of us, and your photo library is on your phone or computer, you can digitally shred your ex as well. You’ll be presented with a voucher you can use to redeem your chicken nuggets — er, boneless wings, excuse me.

Unfortunately, a rather difficult dilemma faces you after your former flame has been extinguished and 10 boneless wings are in your possession: Do you squad up with all the other people who decided to go to Hooters on Valentine’s Day or do you go home and eat your Hooters wings alone while solemnly curled up on the couch? Both are equally as existential crisis triggering but, hey, at least you’ll have ten free wings, right?

Right?

How To Get An Entire Month Of FREE Starbucks Coffee

One of my usual New Year’s resolutions is to try and save more money in the upcoming year. One expense that always chips away at my wallet is the constant need to stay caffeinated in the mornings or after lunch. Maybe I should get more sleep? Nah, coffee’s fine.

Coffee fiends like me looking to save some hard-earned moolah will want to check out Starbucks’ Brewed Refill Tumbler that can be purchased at participating stores in the United States. Customers who buy the tumbler will receive free coffee throughout the month of January 2019.

All you have to do is present the tumbler to a barista at a participating location for one free grande (16 fluid ounces) of either brewed hot coffee or brewed hot tea between January 1 through January 31, 2019.

While the tumbler costs $40, a month of free coffee (at $2.45) costs approximately $75.95 before taxes – and you get a sweet insulated mug out of it.

In the long run, you’re saving. Especially if you’re a habitual coffee drinker.

Those looking to get their hands on one of these stainless steel coffee tumblers can find them at participating Starbucks stores now while supplies last.

Free Taco Bell Is Coming Now That The World Series Is Back

UPDATE: Free tacos, guys!

The Dodgers have made it into the World Series and all my baseball-loving Los Angeles friends and family could not be happier. What could be more exciting than America’s favorite pastime? For those not into it, the return of free Taco Bell.

For the seventh straight year, Taco Bell is bringing back their annual “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion tied to the 2018 World Series.

Here’s How It Works

When the first player from any team steals a base during the World Series, everyone in America will be eligible to get a free Doritos Locos Taco on November 1 from 2 pm – 6 pm local time.

If you’re not a huge baseball fan like myself, there’s still something to be appreciated by a free DLT.

The World Series begins October 23, so taco fans be sure to keep an eye out for that stolen base. A free taco depends on it.

Popular NYC Ramen Shop Is Giving Away 1,000 Free Bowls For One Day Only

One of my must-visit ramen joints when I’m in New York has got to be Ippudo. While I’m anxiously waiting for the Santa Monica location to open, my mind drifts to the cold winters where I would consume their ambrosial tonkotsu broth with mind, body, and soul.

For those ramen romantics who will happen to be in New York next week, Ippudo will be giving away 1,000 free bowls of ramen in honor of their 10th anniversary here in the United States on Oct. 16.

Festivities will last for one day and, upon opening, patrons of the first East Village location will be served free bowls of ramen while supplies last. Obviously this will be a first-come, first-serve, basis so if you’re in the area and want that free bowl of ramen, we recommend you get there early to secure your place in line.

Ippudo’s Santa Monica location can not come soon enough. Perhaps a trip to the Berkeley, CA, spot may satiate my cravings until then.
