Blaze Offers Free Pizza Party To Welcome Lebron James To Los Angeles

If you’ve ever eaten at Blaze Pizza in Los Angeles, you’ve supported Lebron James before he even signed as a Laker.

That’s because Lebron is an investor for the fastest growing restaurant chain in history, so it’s only natural that Blaze throw a Los Angeles pizza party in his honor.

On Tuesday, July 10, Blaze Pizza will be offering a free pizza at 50 participating stores throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County.

Between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Laker fans can party together and celebrate the fact that Lebron James will try to bring the franchise prosperity over the next four seasons.

Laker fans have had mixed feelings about James’s arrival in Los Angeles, but free pizza might help smooth things over for even the biggest Lebron hater.

Even if it doesn’t help win people over, how can you resist free pizza? Go get some, even if you hate Lebron James.

New York Pizzeria Giving Free Pizza To Customers Dressed As Princess Leia

Since Carrie Fisher’s untimely death, many have paid tribute to the iconic Star Wars actress.

Champion Pizza in Manhattan, New York is paying tribute by giving out free pizza to customers who dine in dressed as the leader of the Rebel Alliance, and any other Star Wars character, really.

While anyone who walks in like Chewbacca, or Han Solo can get a free slice, the real perk comes from dressing like Leia herself, as those customers can receive an entire pie, according to ABC News.

The promotion will run through Friday night, and the shop is expected to give out more than 10,000 slices to hungry mourners over the next couple days, according to Pix11.

Hopefully this promotion is received better than Cinnabon’s tribute Tuesday, which left some fans outraged, calling the bun bakers insensitive, leading to the post’s removal.

In this case, customers are getting free stuff, so it’s hard to hate on that. Plus, it’s an excuse to dust off the old Star Wars costumes.

Pizza Hut Trades Pizza for Lame Christmas Gift Pics

As companies try to figure out effective ways to use social media, once in a while you get a good deal.

Pizza Hut had one of those good deals Wednesday as it decided to hand out free $10 gift cards to the first 100 people to tweet them a picture of their “lamest” Christmas presents.

The “gift exchange” is pretty smart considering that unless you got a Michael Kors watch, or handbag, you probably spent most of Wednesday complaining about your Christmas on Twitter. A chance at redemption through free pizza!

Tweet a pic of your lamest xmas present, tag it #PHxchange & be one of first 100 to get a $10 Any pizza from @pizzahut!

So the first 100 ungrateful gift recipients who caught this deal early enough sent @pizzahut a nice little tweet with the hash-tag #PizzaHutExchange, or #PHXchange and will be notified by pizza hut that they will be receiving a $10 gift card.

Keep an eye out on New Year’s Day in case Pizza Hut decides to hand out gift cards to the first 100 hungover people to tweet them pictures of how drunk they got the night before.
