Starbucks Secretly Dropping A Tie-Dye Frappuccino

There have been whispers about a Tie-Dye Frappuccino existing in the depths of Starbucks’ secretive abyss, and sources within Starbucks have confirmed to Foodbeast that it is true, and it is coming fast.

The fruity Frappuccino will have a creme base, vanilla whipped cream top, and stripes of red, blue and yellow powder to give it a tye-dye look. While the powders have not been given a flavor description, they are meant to give a fruity taste to counter the vanilla cream flavor of the Frap base.

As of this writing, Starbucks baristas have been given instruction on how to make it, and told to taste it before the scheduled July 10 launch. It will only be available until July 14, or until the stores run out of the powders.

Starbucks has a tendency to just drop new drinks without much notice, and sits back to watch the world burn in front of them. Most notably, they did that with the Unicorn Frappuccino that came out of nowhere and caused havoc at stores, giving baristas headaches all the way until its eventual demise.

Time will tell if this Frappuccino will have that kind of impact, but the name and color are definitely Instagram-worthy, and have the makings of another terrifying Frappuccino phenomenon.

Starbucks Gets Spooky With Colorful New ‘Witches Brew’ Frappuccino

With Halloween less than a week away, Starbucks has added a colorful new frappuccino to celebrate the spooky holiday. Keeping in line with the brand’s limited-time-offering of frappuccinos inspired by mythical creatures, the new drink takes the name Witches Brew.

Starbucks’ new Witches Brew Frappuccino starts off with an orange creme Frappuccino base before things get a little spooky. Thrown into the clear plastic cauldron is a swirl of bat warts (chia seeds), a purple blend of “toad’s breath” coloring, and a topping of whipped cream and “lizard scale” powder that’s made from green sugar.

What’s magical about this new addition is that its sweetness isn’t as overwhelming as its predecessors, though the overall sugar content (53 grams) is only a few grams less than that of the Frappula Frappuccino (54 grams) and the Unicorn Frappuccino (59 grams).

The new concoction will be available at participating Starbucks locations for a limited time in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and select markets in the Caribbean. They’ll likely be on the menu through the end of the Halloween season.

Starbucks Adds Chorizo Egg Bites To Its Menu, Here’s How They Taste

Huevos con chorizo are a breakfast staple in Mexican culture, and Starbucks has found a way to incorporate it into their menu. Kind of.

Jumping off the popularity of their Bacon & Gruyere and Egg White Sous Vide Bites, Starbucks has decided to dip into Mexican culture for their latest edition.

With chicken chorizo, tortilla, cotija cheese, and chipotle salsa, these little bites are actually pretty tasty.

I was pretty hard on Starbucks for their first stab at chorizo, and while these still lack some spice, the addition of cotija and chipotle salsa really helped add some flavor to what could have been another bland addition to the menu.

Keep in mind, most food at Starbucks is still pre-packaged, and often looks like mush, but these aren’t bad by Starbucks food standards.

Joining the chorizo bite on the summer menu are a handful of new Frappuccinos, including a Serious Strawberry Frappuccino that comes with a real strawberry puree, strawberry fruit, and a “swirl of milk.”

Another Frap that’s sure to be a favorite is the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino, which is basically a Caramel Frap on steroids. This one consists of whipped cream layers that are infused with cold brew for an extra kick, white chocolate, and dark caramel. On top of that, it’s drizzled with more dark caramel.

Can’t really complain about any of the new items, and they should be popular considering all they did was tweak already existing favorites.

For 5 Days Only, Starbucks Is Sneaking In A New Christmas Tree Frap

If you thought Starbucks’ only holiday drinks were going to be Toasted White Chocolate Mocha and Peppermint Mocha, you obviously don’t know Starbucks.

From December 7 to 11, you’ll be able to grab a festive Christmas Tree Frappuccino. That’s right, not a “Holiday Tree,” which may or may not appease those who believe Starbucks is out to destroy Christmas.

The drink is not short on ingredients, as it consists of a Peppermint Mocha Crème Frappuccino, topped with Matcha whipped cream to give it the green tree feel. As far as tree decorations, the Frap will have a caramel drizzle, candied cranberries, and even a strawberry acting as a star.

Sure, it’ll only be around for five days, but most of Starbucks’ wacky combinations are only around for a limited time, probably in hope that they catch fire like the infamous Unicorn Frap.

For those looking for this early present from your baristas, you have until Monday to try this sugar-rush inducing monster.

17 Of The Most Popular Starbucks Frapps Around the World

There’s certainly been a lot of buzz about Starbucks this past year with their unicorn drinks and other wacky creations. The bright colors are fun and all – maybe not for your GI tract – but there are some quality drinks on the menu even without the gimmicks. Unfortunately, a lot the bomb options aren’t available in the United States yet, but we had to tease you a little bit. Here are some of the most popular Starbucks Frappuccinos from around the world, so book your tickets now.

American Cherry Pie

Kind of ironic the American Cherry Pie Frappuccino isn’t sold in America. You gotta go to Japan to get your fix.

Sunshine Mandarin Mango Tea

Japan and Korea really know how to sell a Frapp that’ll get you in the mood for summer.

Combining vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and Neapolitan ice cream is the best of all worlds. Thank God Starbucks New Zealand put it in a glass for all the eager folks out there.

Bubble Gum

Besides its adorable pink hue, this bubble gum Frapp, found at Starbucks locations in Poland, is Bubbalicious.

Matcha Earl Grey Jelly

The world seems to be very on board with the whole matcha trend, but only Starbucks locations in Thailand, Hong Kong, and other locations in Asia Pacific mixed it with Earl Grey to make a true masterpiece.

Banana Split Mocha

Ah, the classic banana split. It has a feeling of nostalgia you just can’t shake. If you travel to the Philippines, you get to inhale it in liquid form.

Choux Creme

If you’ve ever had a profiterole or a cream puff, you know the glory that is the choux filling inside. South Korea has a new choux creme Frapp that channels all those desserts we know and love.

Strawberry Ribbon Chip

Starbucks really got on the strawberry bandwagon this year. In New Zealand they sell this strawberry ribbon chip drink with milk chocolate sauce, java chips, and a strawberry drizzle, which is basically the edgier sister drink to the strawberries and cream Frappe.

Green Tea Strawberry Blossom

Based on the obsession with matcha and strawberry, it was only natural to combine the two. You can hop over to the Phillippines for this green tea strawberry blossom Frapp.

Chocolate Chip Creme

This drink might seem super simple, but chocolate chip creme is a welcome return to the basics. Check it at Starbucks locations abroad, including the U.K. and Thailand.

Raspberry Ripple

Pink, pink, and more pink seems to be Starbucks’ new motto. This Raspberry Ripple Frapp found in the United Kingdom is a perfect example.

Cookies and Cream

Cookies and cream is debatably the best milkshake flavor in the world, so it has to be the best Frappuccino flavor, amirite? Thanks, Mexico for pulling through on this one.

Ferrero Rocher

Ferrero Rochers are some of the dopest chocolates in existence. Bless you, United Kingdom, for making this savage Frapp including some classy chocolates.

Coconut Strawberry Bliss

We’re gettin’ tropical up in here. When Starbucks put coconut milk on the menu we all rejoiced. Now they have this coconut strawberry bliss concoction in Indonesia and Thailand. Get on board, America.

Starbucks Pops Out Caramel Popcorn Frappuccinos In Europe

How do you enjoy your popcorn? Do you take it with extra butter or are you a nacho cheese kind of individual?  Personally, I enjoy the sweet and crunchy texture that comes with caramel popcorn. Naturally when Starbucks introduced their new Caramel Popcorn Frappuccino over in the UK, our interest was piqued.

Brand Eating reports the cold new beverage will be available through the summer at Starbucks stores across the Atlantic.

The beverage features a creme Frappuccino syrup that’s blended with milk, ice, popcorn brittle, and a popcorn-flavored syrup. It’s then topped with popcorn brittle, whipped cream, butterscotch drizzle, and additional bits of popcorn brittle.

Patrons of Starbucks’ participating locations in Europe will find the beverage available through the end of the summer season. Man, we’re not looking forward to all the upcoming fall Pumpkin Spice drinks after this promotion ends, though.

Starbuck’s Just Put The Rumored Summer Fruit Frappuccinos On Their Official Menu

We earlier reported on the rumors of these refreshing new Frappuccinos that broke over the weekend, and we now have official confirmation from Starbucks USA that they’re real and on the menu starting TODAY.

For those of you who haven’t heard of them yet, Starbucks has decided to drop two fruity new Frapps on us just in time for the summer solstice. Each contains flavors you’d expect to find with summer, such as the lime, hibiscus, and passionfruit notes found in the Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino or the tropical essence of the Mango Pineapple Frappuccino.

Each of the frozen drinks is built the same way: layers of fruit puree on the bottom and top, separated by a mango creme Frappuccino base. Despite all the sugar from the fruit purees and the blended creme, these Frappuccinos are actually some of the healthiest on the Starbucks menu. A grande size of each consists of 260 calories, topping only the Coffee (240 calories) and Espresso Frappuccinos (230 calories) in total energy consumed per drink.

Of course, the above fact comes with the caveat that the new drinks are loaded with sugar, containing 49-50 grams of it apiece. Nonetheless, both the Berry Prickly Pear and Mango Pineapple Frappuccinos are lower-calorie ways to enjoy Starbucks drinks while taking in the summer vibes.

They’re only going to be available for a limited time, though, so I’d rush in to try these refreshing new Frappuccinos before both of them disappear.

Gorgeous Prickly Pear And Mango Pineapple Frappuccinos Might Be Next At Starbucks [RUMOR]

Summer may just be starting for all of us, but the heated raced for Starbucks to top their Pink Drink and Unicorn Frappuccinos is already on. According to some charmingly pesky foodies in Nevada, Starbucks is readying to launch new fruit-loaded Frappuccinos just in time for some serious summer heatwaves.

First posted and discussed by our Foodbeast tip-liners @fatclosetgirl and @ryusauce, we now have confirmation from a Starbucks location and multiple baristas that these two new Frappuccinos – the Prickly Pear Frappuccino and the Pineapple Mango Frappuccino – will be dropping nationwide starting Tuesday, June 20th.

Both frappuccinos appear to be part of an inaugural lineup called “Colors of Summer,” and will be available for a limited time once they do launch. Apparently, each consists of a mango creme frappuccino base with a special fruit puree (mango pineapple or berry and prickly pear) at the bottom and top of the blended drink. They normally don’t come with the usual whipped cream topping, but you can ask for it, according to some baristas on Reddit.

It’s fitting that these new frappes are the first to drop in the new set, because man, do they look gorgeous. I’m gonna have a hard time deciding which one to try first, that’s for sure.

We have reached out to Starbucks USA regarding the new frappuccinos to get more details and confirm what we’ve heard through the grapevine already, so stay tuned here for updates as we receive them.
