Hooters Is Giving Out Free Wings to Single People on Valentine’s Day

Most Valentine’s Days spent single are passed in a concentrated effort to forget your ex but, on this year’s Valentine’s Day, Hooters is asking for your remembrance of what was.

On February 14th, during the yearly reminder of our societal obligation to companionship, Hooters is offering up the chance to get 10 free boneless wings. The only condition is you must bring in a picture of your former significant other to be shredded, because people still shred pictures like it’s a mid-2000’s lowbrow romcom, evidently.

But, if you’re living in 2020 like the rest of us, and your photo library is on your phone or computer, you can digitally shred your ex as well. You’ll be presented with a voucher you can use to redeem your chicken nuggets — er, boneless wings, excuse me.

Unfortunately, a rather difficult dilemma faces you after your former flame has been extinguished and 10 boneless wings are in your possession: Do you squad up with all the other people who decided to go to Hooters on Valentine’s Day or do you go home and eat your Hooters wings alone while solemnly curled up on the couch? Both are equally as existential crisis triggering but, hey, at least you’ll have ten free wings, right?

Popular California Burger Chain Makes A Burger With Fried Lasagna Buns

A month ago, we reported that Slater’s 50/50 offered a breakfast-inspired Eggs Benedict Burger to start off the New Year. Now, February’s Burger of the Month is far from light as the Stuffed Lasagna Burger makes its debut.

Made with a blend of Italian sausage and ground beef patty, the burger is topped with mozzarella, Parmesan and fried basil leaves. It’s also served on a fried cheese LASAGNA BUN.

Let all that cheesy, deep-fried goodness soak into your heart for a minute.

Slater’s 50/50 recommends pairing the burger with Iron Fist Renegade Blonde. You can order the Stuffed Lasagna Burger at all participating Slater’s locations through the month of February for 13.95.

McDonald’s Superbowl Ad Lets You Pay with ‘Lovin’,’ Whatever That Means

In the midst of the big game, McDonald’s aired a curious ad. Customers were selected to participate in ‘love’-related acts in lieu of paying cash for their meals. Ranging from a loving call to their mothers to shaking their rumps, chosen patrons were given the opportunity to do something nice in exchange for free fast food.

Beginning February 2, participating McDonald’s locations will randomly pick a customer and give them the chance to do something nice as payment for their meal. McDonald’s staff have been trained for months in preparation for this promotion.

McDonald’s “Pay with Lovin'” option is set to end on February 14. So for the next two weeks, McDonald’s customers best be on their toes.

Has anyone out there been selected to “pay with lovin’?” If so, sound off in the comments.

Meatball Marinara and Oven Roasted Chicken are Subway’s Featured Subs for February

In case flatbread pizzas and Fritos enchiladas aren’t enough to get you through Subway’s smelly doors this month, here’s a breakdown of their featured February subs:

The $5 Footlong is the Meatball Marinara: Italian meatballs drenched in tomato sauce and melted mozzarella that presumably tastes best on the new garlic bread. The $3 Six-Inch Select is the ubiquitous Oven Roasted Chicken, and the $3 Breakfast Combo offers either a coffee or soda plus your choice of Black Forest Ham, Egg & Cheese, or Bacon, Egg & Cheese.

Though, if you are able to resist buying a sandwich with Fritos in it, more power to you.

Subway “Frebruany” Means Any $5 Regular Footlongs Are Back

Psshhh. Not mad at that. Subway presents their latest promotion for the month of February…FebruANY. That’s right, this is one of those limited-time time periods where Subway reverts their entire menu of regular footlong sandwiches to be priced at a measly $5. It’s unfortunate that February is the shortest month of the year, but hey, I’m still not complaining. Now I can get my Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on without breaking the bank. Yeah, I’m a cheap-ass.

Dunkin’ Donuts Reveals a Line of Cocoa Donuts

The month of February is not only filled with love, the Super Bowl, and 28 short days, it’s a month of Cocoa for the Dunkin’ Donuts brand. Today marks the unveil of the restaurant’s new Cocoa Donuts, a line of donuts that includes three new varieties that will be available nationwide.
