Cheez-It Wine Box Pairs White Cheddar Crackers With Rosé

Last year, Cheez-It launched a limited-edition Original Cheddar and House Wine Red Wine box that will let you snack on the iconic crackers while pairing it with some box wine. The collaboration sold out in minutes and fans were left eating crackers, and drinking wine in separate containers like veritable chumps.

Those fans need not worry, as the annual pairing is back with a White Cheddar twist.

This year, Cheez-It is launching a White Cheddar & House Wine Rosé box that you can order through Original House Wine. Pairing White Cheddar Cheez-Its (arguably the superior Cheez-It) with House Wine Rosé.

The limited-edition Cheez-It White Cheddar & House Wine Rosé will be available online for $29.99 at OriginalHouseWine.com, starting at 2 p.m. EST on July 23 and will be available while supplies last.

PEEPS Slurpees & PEEPS Lattes Are Now At 7-Eleven

Spring is here and we’re officially in Peeps season, folks. Love them or hate them, with the advent of Spring comes such a hype for these little animal-shaped marshmallows that continues to polarize both classrooms and offices alike. Almost as much as candy corn. Almost.

Leaning into the spirit of Peeps, 7-Eleven just released two new beverage options, both inspired by the prolific, ear-forward marshmallow treat.

The first is a Peeps-flavored Slurpee, which the brand has been teasing since February. This marks the first-ever marshmallow-flavored Slurpee from 7-Eleven (what were they waiting for??). Second, Peeps takes the form of a Peeps Latte that’s offered in the hot beverage dispensing machines.

Those looking for a sweet kick of marshmallow should be sure to give these drinks a taste!

Peeps lovers, you can check out these flavors at your local 7-Eleven throughout the month of April. You can also have them delivered for free through 7Now, 7-Eleven’s delivery service, with the promo code FREE4U.

7-Eleven Officially Adds Jarritos’ Mandarin Flavor As A Big Gulp, The First Time It’s Ever Found Outside The Bottle

Fans of the widely popular Jarritos soda brand will soon be able to have as much of the popular Mandarin flavor as they can chug, thanks to a new partnership with 7-Eleven and Stripes.

For the first time in the history of the beverage, the Mandarin Jarritos soda is venturing outside of the bottle and joining 7-Eleven’s Big Gulp soda fountain lineup.

Over the past summer, 7-Eleven launched a Mandarin-flavored Jarritos Slurpee drink that garnered positive social media reaction like gangbusters. The resulting popularity led to the decision of adding the actual craft soda into the soda fountain lineup. The Mexico-based soft drink company was founded in 1950 and, over the past 70 years, has risen to become one of the most popular soft drinks in the country.

Expect to see the newest Big Gulp flavor rolling out at participating 7-Eleven locations. If successful, we’ll probably see more iconic Jarritos flavors joining its Mandarin flavored comrade not long after.

Costco Is Selling Egg Nog with a 13.9% ABV

Costco isn’t fooling anyone. While the gargantuan $10 pizza and bulk amounts of, well, everything are nice, the chain clearly excels at being the alcohol plug. Where else can you get a 48 pack of beer for $23? Well, nowhere, now that the chain discontinued their beer last fall. Thankfully it seems as if a new contestant has approached the arena— er, warehouse — with the introduction of their new Egg Nog Wine Cocktail.

As with everything at Costco, the drink only comes in one size (absurdly large) and one price (absurdly cheap). The Instagram account @costcobuys, who initially reported the discovery, says that the drink is available at their Costco in 1.5L bottles for only $9.

Nine dollars! Now, granted this isn’t that premium stuff. At the end of the day, this is alcoholic eggnog that comes in a plastic bottle. But still! That’s a lot of… value… for your money.

The one concerning part of this is that, according to the label, it’s a “wine cocktail.” Usually, eggnog is paired with a dark liquor, like rum or brandy — never wine.

This reddit thread throws a couple suggestions out, namely that this might be the result of state alcohol sales and taxes laws. From prior experience, and some preliminary reporting, this could be true. The new bottle seems to be a rebrand of the eggnog liqueur that Costco has sold for years, as the imaging, labeling, and wording of the bottle all remain the same. The only things that have changed is the switch to “wine cocktail” and a minor reduction in alcohol percentage, as the new one comes in at 13.9%.

Whatever the recipe may actually be, Costco is trying to make alcoholic eggnog easy, and holiday parties that much more palatable. Cheers to that.

Short Round, named after Harrison Ford’s sidekick in the classic Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, is a visual masterpiece. The cocktail is made with Macallan 12, Dolin Blanc, and Suze. Stired and strained, it’s placed in the chest (on a bed of grass) and served alongside a dry ice skull.

Belle, based off of the iconic rose from Beauty and the Beast, features Ketel One Botanical, St. Germain, Clarified Lemon, and 1-1 simple syrup. The cocktail is presented with a special technique that features smoking incense and the use of dried flowers to create an atmospheric aromatic rather than one that simply comes from the cocktail or garlic.

It’s served in a bell jar that’s filled with smoke.

Pirates of the Caribbean fans will want to order the Flying Dutchman, a cocktail that serves two people.

They stir and strain stolen smoked rum, Novo Fogo cachaça, Smith & Cross, honey, clarified citrus, and Allspice, and finish the drink by infusing the ship carafe with orange wood smoke. As the drink is poured into the glass, the ghost ship arises within the foggy cocktail sea. A haunting beverage that’s perfect for a melancholic evening.

You can find these cocktails and more movie-inspired beverages inside the hidden Green Room at Castaway.

Blue Moon’s Founder Created A New Cannabis-Infused Beer And It Sold Out Quickly

Keith Villa is probably best known for his contribution to the field of alcohol with his creation of Blue Moon. The brewmaster and founder was part of MillerCoors for approximately 32 years until his retirement early last year.

Now, in a time where cannabis-boasting beverages are becoming more and more prominent, Villa has launched a new brew that’s infused with pot: Grainwave Belgian-Style White Ale.

A medium-bodied Belgian-Style White Ale, Ceria is brewed with coriander and blood orange peels. As a spin on Belgian Ale, the beer is de-alcoholized and microdosed with 5mg of THC.

Villa’s new brewing company, Ceria Brewing Co., launched Grainwave last December in local dispensaries around the Colorado area and the initial batch sold out in about four hours.

While non-alcoholic, the brew is said to capture the flavors of a classic Belgian ale while providing the calming effects of cannabis.

Currently those looking to try Grainwave can find them in select dispensary locations in Denver, CO. For now, at least, it will remain a Colorado exclusive.
