Dunkin’ Donuts Launches Pumpkin Crème Brûlée-Flavored Lattes

‘Tis the season for drowning ourselves in sweet creams and sugars, particularly those of the pumpkin-flavored variety. But in case Starbucks’ PSL is getting a little old, Dunkin’ Donuts has decided to step up its gourd game, by offering a drink that tastes not just like pumpkin, but pumpkin crème brûlée.

Presumably sweeter than your typical pumpkin spice, Dunkin’ Donuts PCB is available in both regular coffee and latte form, reports Business Insider. Also among the limited time fall line-up are pumpkin hot or iced mochas, pumpkin pie donuts and donut holes, and a pumpkin muffin.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go hop on a plane to the east coast and drink enough of those pumpkin crème brûlée lattes to turn me as round as a pumpkin or a ramekin. Kay, thanks.

Dunkin’ Donuts Games Summer with New Arnold Palmer Coolatta

Few things scream summer like iced tea, lemonade, and old golfing guys. So in partnership with $1-canned-tea company AriZona, Dunkin’ Donuts decided to put them all together in slushy form, lest we forget summer vacation is still at least a month away and we ourselves are nowhere near retiring (ugh).

For those who dare to dream, DD’s new Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta combines equal parts football head and tropical plant frozen iced tea and frozen lemonade to create the perfect liquid accompaniment to planning summer getaways during office hours.

“With the beginning of warm weather, our guests look forward to the introduction of new and unique Coolatta frozen beverage flavors […],” John Costella, President of Global Marketing and Dunkin’ Brands said in a press release. “This year is especially exciting as we’ve partnered with the Arizona Beverages and Arnold Palmer Enterprises to introduce the new Frozen Arnold Palmer® Coolatta, featuring the classic combination of iced tea and lemonade as legendary as the man after which it’s named.”

Also returning to Dunkin’ menu boards for summer are the Oreo Coffee and Oreo Vanilla Bean Coolatta and the Watermelon and Blue Raspberry Coolatta. Each, along with yearlong flavors like Strawberry, is available in the small size for $1.99 ’til the end of May.

Cookie Dough Donuts Land on Planet Earth, Er, Dunkin’ Donuts

For Valentine’s Day, Dunkin’ Donuts is releasing new heart-shaped donuts. This might be a great option for those who can’t stand the hassle of going out for Valentine’s but dig the idea of “serving” up a romantic breakfast for your significant other.

Returning this year is the Brownie Batter Donut, a heart-shaped pastry filled with chocolate brownie batter buttercream and topped with chocolate icing and heart sprinkles. The Cookie Dough Donut is a new and intriguing addition to the line up and banks on the recent cookie dough trend (see: magical Cookie Dough Oreos). The newcomer features a heart-shaped donut filled with cookie dough buttercream and topped with chocolate icing and heart sprinkles. Dunkin’ Donuts is also offering new Brown Sugar Cinnamon Coffee and Lattes to pair with your sweet treats.

The Valentine’s Day heart-shaped donuts will only be available through February.

Dunkin’ Donuts Releases New Red Velvet Latte for Holiday Season

There’s also a new Salted Caramel hot chocolate, but let’s stick to the important stuff for now.

The first time I tried a red velvet hot chocolate, it was from a (sadly, now dearly departed) crêperie at an outdoor shopping mall in Southern California. Like most things red velvet, the RVHC was really nothing more than a richer, butterier take on your regular chocolate-flavored offering, if mildly improved by some nifty signage and a costume change. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t sometimes dream about that chocolate at night — bundled up, starting season one of Breaking Bad (sue me), falling asleep to the 30th page of my tumblr dashboard — hot, sticky, red-cocoa coated dreams.

Anywho, since it’s a latte instead of a hot chocolate, Dunkin’ Donuts newest seasonal oeuvre is set to be even more addictive. Daily Meal reports that starting Monday November 4, DD will roll out the Red Velvet Latte and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate. Keep a look out for the Red Velvet and Holiday Star donuts, peppermint mocha and white chocolate, and white hot chocolate, dark hot chocolate, and mint hot chocolate drinks returning for the season.

Cold weather, fat-covering clothes-bundling, FTW.

Dunkin’ Donuts Thailand Has All-Black Chocolate-Flavored Donuts

We’ve already seen McDonald’s all-black burgers, Vegas Premium’s 12-inch all-black hot dog and Aya Cemani’s all-black cock (chicken). This time around, Dunkin’ Donuts Thailand is rolling out a line of 27 inky (obsidian, raven, stygian) donuts guaranteed to make your inner 3m0-g0tH-ch1ld squee (you know, on the inside).

From Charcoal-Choco-Chili to Charcoal Blue Mint to Charcoal Banoffee (banana toffee), Dunkin’s take on the monochromatic food trend definitely sounds tastier than anything we’ve seen in the past. According to Rocket News, “these doughnuts took a year in the making as Dunkin’ Donuts carefully selected what they thought were the best combination of ingredients.”

For anyone still feeling a little squeamish (these things do look kinda dead after all), rest assured: the charcoal doesn’t affect the donuts’ taste at all. So you can indulge your morbid sweet tooth with all the comfort that your non-charcoal eating tastebuds can handle. Suh-weet.

Dunkin’ Glazed Bacon Doughnut Sandwiches Roll Out Nationwide

Back in April, Dunkin’ Donuts was spotted testing its  Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich in Massachusetts. Turns out, the masses can’t deny the goodness that is bacon and fried egg smushed between two glazed donuts. On June 7, DD will officially add Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwiches to their national menu. Oh, and it helps that the launch date conveniently falls on “National Donut Day.”

The new savory + sweet item will run you 360 calories, not bad for a delicious morning treat. Stan Frankenthaler, the joint’s executive chef and VP of product innovation, hints that special requests are not out of the question. “[P]eople can customize sandwiches in multiple ways,” he told AP.

We’re thinking two Bavarian Kreme Donuts, extra bacon. Think about it. Friday, as usual, you can’t come soon enough.

Dungeons and Dragons Jones Soda

The rejoice that has fallen upon the nerd community must be a huge one with the release of these limited edition D&D drinks by Jones Soda. These themed sodas bring the game to life even more so now with names like “Potion of Healing” and “Bigys Crushing Thirst Destroyer”. God I really hope that this does not mean more people start running around in elf costumes, we have enough mystical worlds out there already. (Thx sogoodblog)
