KFC Is Selling A $5 Colonel Sanders Halloween Costume And Bucket

UPDATE: The costumes have already sold out online, but the buckets will still be available at restaurants starting Friday, Oct. 27.

Ready for Halloween? Cause we sure are.

In the spirit of the candy-filled holiday, Kentucky Fried Chicken is selling costume kits for $5. Inspired by vintage Colonel Sanders, the iconic figurehead of the fried chicken chain, the costume kit can be purchased at

The Halloween Harland ensemble includes a Colonel Sanders mask, white bib, and a KFC trick-or-treat bucket. Oh how we wished that bucket was filled with extra crispy fried chicken, though.

We got our hands on one of the costumes and Foodbeast’s resident scientist Constantine couldn’t resist having a little fun with the items.

If you want to get your hands on one of this KFC costume kits, orders place on the website by Oct. 23 are expected to arrive in time for Halloween. Beginning Friday, Oct. 27, participating KFC restaurants will give the buckets away to customers showing “Halloween Spirit.” This means dressing up is encouraged.

Oh hey, Constantine.

This Year’s Top Costume Is Stranger Things’ Eleven & Her Eggo Waffles

Halloween falling on a Monday means that a lot of costumes made their debut this past weekend. The most popular one, it seems, is the breakout character of Netflix’s Stranger Things: Eleven.

Eleven, also knowns as El, is a young girl with psychokinetic abilities that escapes from a government facility and befriends a group of young boys looking for their missing friend. Along the way, they teach her things about the outside world.

Her experience leads her to discover a love for Eggo Waffles, the popular frozen breakfast item found in practically every grocery store in the country.

With the popularity of Netflix’s show spreading like wildfire, it was only a matter of time before people started dressing up as the characters for conventions and Halloween.

Check out some creative takes on El this year. In the meantime, we’re gonna see if we can hunt down a box of Eggos.

Chrissy Teigen Took The Bus To Flavortown And Came Back With This Halloween Costume

Photo: Disney/ABC

Chrissy Teigen, social media star and model, celebrates Halloween just like everyone else. This year, she decided to embrace her inner foodie and dress up as…Guy Fieri.

Let’s let that sink in.

Teigen, host of Lip Sync Battle and The FAB Life, is one of the few celebrities to blast her Instagram feed with gratuitous food porn. For that, Chrissy, we’re incredibly thankful.

While promoting her upcoming Halloween episode of the FAB Life, Teigen gave fans a sneak preview of who she’s dressing up as for the spooky holiday. Yep, none other than the host of the long-running Food Network series Diner, Drive-Ins and Dives

The costume features a blonde wig and goatee, sunglasses and a fiery button-down. Classic Fieri.

As you can see, it’s both hilarious and terrifying.

Teigen will be in full “Fieri mode” on her Oct. 30 Halloween episode.

Sexy Pizza Rat Will Be Your First Costume Choice This Halloween

For some reason, entire slices of pizza are running wild on the streets of New York City and rats are swiftly coming up on them.

In the spirit of these pizza rats, ladies, and I guess gentlemen, can now be one for Halloween, thanks to Yandy.

The sexy costume captures the essence of the infamous pizza rats with a short, rat-like dress, equipped with a rat-eared hoodie, pizza slices attached to the hip area and a rat tail at the rear.

The costume’s selling for $89.95, which is a lot more than the John Cena cutout mask I’m going to be wearing for Halloween, but it’s probably worth it.

Halloween Freebies Round-Up 2013

Sweet costume: check. Candy for the kiddies: check. Real food so you don’t starve to death: say what now? As much as we’d love to believe otherwise, you can’t make it through Halloween night on candy alone. Luckily, there are plenty of restaurants out there just itching to throw free (or at least discounted) food at you. And I don’t know about you, but after everything I spent this Halloween, the extra moolah is very much appreciated.
