‘Grandpa Goes Wild’ and Vandalizes Football Stadium in New Taco Bell Super Bowl Ad

taco-bell-superbowl-commercial

Taco Bell’s new Super Bowl ad plays up their “Live Más” slogan, featuring 87 year-old Bernie Goldblatt letting loose on a football field in a suped-up motorized scooter. Note: The sheer joy on his face as he throws his hands into the air, breathing in the sheer exhilaration of life is priceless.

The commercial takes “viewers on an unforgettable night depicting that anyone at any age can LIVE MÁS,” explains Taco Bell PR. The 60-second teaser includes shots of “Grandpa” careening around posts, knocking over water coolers and escaping security while stunting wheelies — check 0:42.

The full commercial will follow Goldblatt and his friends gallivanting in the night while the band fun.’s song “We are Young” plays in the background. In Spanish, of course.

Oh, Taco Bell.

Finally, Pizza-Flavored Ice Cream Is Here

Pizza-Flavored-Ice-Cream

Sometimes there are two things in the world that are just meant to come together. Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Breakfast and Lunch. Cats and the Internet. And now, pizza and ice cream.

Little Baby’s Ice Cream, the geniuses (or nut cases) behind those cannibalistic ice-cream-man-of-your-nightmares commercials, have created a pizza-flavored ice cream. It shouldn’t come as a surprise for those familiar with the Philadelphia-based creamery, whose propensity for the wacky and weird has brought us flavors like Earl Grey Sriracha and Balsamic Banana. And they are located right next to a pizza museum called Pizza Brain. Alas, only the lucky locals can attest to whether the savory dessert tastes more cheesy or tomato-y, if it has pepperoni bits in it, or if it truly does taste better the next day.

Doritos’ “Best Part” Super Bowl 2011 Commercial

The big game is over, the Cheeseheads took it into 2011, and the buzz around Sunday’s event is still going strong. With all the positive accolade for the commercials this year, one of the one’s I’d like to revisit is the Doritos “Best Part” commercial. One of the first commercials of the broadcast and definitely one of my favorites, the commercial was selected as one of the Crash the Super Bowl finalists. What’s the best part about tearing into a bag of Doritos? The aftermath, apparently. Which 2011 Super Bowl commercial was YOUR favorite??

Jack in the Box Commercial That Never Made It [Humor]

I’m sure this video was never in the running to be aired, but don’t hold that sentiment as fact. This video was uploaded to YouTube roughly three years ago, but somehow was just now brought to our attention. Some points induce laughter, other points in the video will most likely lead us to be creeped out next time we’re at a Jack in the Box drive-thru. Scary. Poor, stupid dog.

Superbowl 2010 Food Related Super Bowl Ads

Superbowl 2010 faced a pretty nice lineup of food-related commercials, usually the best part of the game. I’ve collected about 11 of them for your viewing pleasure. If I had to pick one to be my favorite, I would definitely go with the House Rules Dorito’s Ad, with the lil’ kid slapping the shit out of his mother’s date for the evening because he helped himself to his obviously-private stash of Dorito’s. Until next year…

Carl's Jr: We've Got A Jingle Too

Things are certainly heating up with this Carl’s Jr vs. McDonald’s war. I can’t lie though. The videos remind me of Mac vs. PC commercials and they’re mighty funny.
