Chips Ahoy! x Sour Patch Kids Crossover Is The Cookie Collab We NEED

Ever face the dilemma while snack shopping where you absolutely can’t choose between the richness of a cookie with the sour blast of sweetness that comes from Sour Patch Kids? It’s something many of us have faced at some point in our youths… and well into our thirties.

Well, choose no further with the latest collaboration between Chips Ahoy! cookies and Sour Patch Kids. Yes, you read that right.

The new cookie hybrid features the sweet and crunchy texture of a Chips Ahoy! cookie souped up with the sweet and sour candy-inspired chunks of Sour Patch Kids. It’s essentially biting into a delectable cookie while popping pieces of Sour Patch Kids into your mouth, which frankly sounds amazing.

Wish these existed the last time I went to the movies. Then I wouldn’t have to spend a fortune on cookies and candy.

You can find this new flavor of Chips Ahoy! cookie at participating retailers nationwide starting May.

Dunkin’ Donuts Built A House That Runs On Used Coffee Grounds

Most people need a hot cup of coffee to power themselves up before they can even think about getting through the day. While the effects of coffee are quite powerful, I’ve never really considered the potential they have beyond keeping me from dozing off in the shower.

Harnessing said potential, Dunkin’ Donuts took it upon themselves to build a Home That Runs on Dunkin’ Donuts’ coffee. More specifically, used coffee grinds.

The idea was to take wasted resources and figure out a way to convert them into fuel, as part of an initiative towards a cleaner planet. The coffee brand partnered with Blue Marble Energy to create a biofuel made from the oil extracted from the used coffee grounds from Dunkin’ Donuts.

The biofuel is an 80% blend of coffee oil and 20% blend of alcohol that’s added to a generator which, in turn, powers every facet of the home.

The design of the house itself is also inspired by Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, with the textures and colors resembling the the richness of coffee grinds.

Anyone wishing to check out this tiny coffee-powered house will find it at Madison Square Park from Oct. 4 through Oct. 6.

Coca-Cola’s Latest Luggage Collaboration Furthers Trend Of Food and Fashion

Fast food companies have been taking the fashion industry by a storm as of late. Just this year alone, Taco Bell collaborated with Forever 21 to create some fashionable foodie wear, and KFC has been creating surprisingly stylish and exclusive drops for their online store.

Long gone are the days of fast food companies just slapping their logo on a plain white shirt and calling it a day. The food industry has started investing a lot of time, money, and effort into creating new, fashionable merchandise because, believe it or not, they actually sell really, really well.

So why does foodie fashion work? Exclusivity may be the name of the game, causing everyone to want to get their hands on a limited piece to show off on the ‘gram. Or it may be it’s because consumers have realized that food and fashion are a major part of their lifestyle, and they want to be more expressive about that.

Nevertheless, the trend of fashionable foodie items is still peaking, and it sure isn’t planning on halting anytime soon.

Now, Coca-Cola has recently teamed up with HEX, a renowned fashion accessory brand, to create innovative laptop and sneaker bags with the iconic “Enjoy Coca-Cola” logo on them. And I must say… they look pretty damn good.

Feast your eyes on the collection, which will surely be the next big thing for those who love food and some swag with functionality:

The Sneaker Sling: $70

The Sneaker Backpack: $160

The Sneaker Duffel: $170
