Police Riot Gear Made Entirely of Meat Product

A riot shield, baton and mask, made entirely of meat product. I hate to admit it, but this particular grouping of meat product and war paraphernalia is actually making me gag a bit. I’m not sure why they opted for the completely nude male model. I’m also not particularly sure of the product’s utility in the real world, or if it was simply created to become Internet Blog fodder. Sorry, we don’t make the food news, we just report it. (Thx Geekologie)

Pic of the Day: Katy Perry Sushi Dress

So the other night, Katy Perry and I were having dinner, one thing led to another, and I dared her to prove her Foodbeast nature. A few days later, she got up on stage at the MTV Japan Video Music Awards and stripped down to this lovely getup. Sushi all over your one-piece? Point made Katy, next week’s lunch is on me! Bacon Shoes

An interesting take on a Champion slip on sneaker from Keds footware. The outer canvas is painted with a photo realistic tiled pattern of bacon strips, reserved for only the ultimate-of-ultimate Foodbeasts with absolutely, 0-percent, no shame. (Thx Zazzle)

Orisue: Still For the Hungry

This past week, we got to spend some awesome time with the good people of Orisue Clothing out in Fullerton. They spent the evening celebrating their creative director and founder’s birthday (Happy Birthday again Michael!) along with the photo shoot for their Fall 09 season. As usual, there was no scarcity of food among these talented group of designers and good vibes were flowing all around.
