McDonald’s Brings Caramel Brownie McFlurry To Dessert Menu

It’s been a minute since McDonald’s added something new to their McFlurry options. Don’t get me wrong, I could dive into a cup of Oreo McFlurry with a side of fries any day, but something new is always welcome.

The fast-food chain has announced they’ll be offering a new Caramel Brownie McFlurry

Vanilla soft serve comes together with brownie pieces and caramel topping and is blended until the morsels engrain themselves into the silky smooth frozen cream.

This product’s release marks the first time the Caramel Brownie McFlurry will be available in the US. It made its original debut in Canada back in 2017.

McDonald’s customers can get their hands on the new McFlurry option starting May 3 at all participating McDonald’s locations nationwide.

15 Bacon Desserts That Will Leave You Squealing For More

We live in an age where bacon can go on just about anything. Add bacon to your burger? Absolutely. Add bacon to your fries? Who wouldn’t? Add bacon to your ice cream? …that sounds like a terrible idea.

Terribly amazing, that is. Here are a few more terribly amazing bacon desserts that you need to try immediately.

Bacon Ice Cream

Bacon… on ice cream? Our taste buds are 200% curious. This bacon ice cream features a caramel rimmed cup, filled with our 100% organic milk soft serve and candied bacon! This dream treat was available for a limited time only at Milkcow Australia this past September, so we’re high-key jealous of our friends Down Under!

Bacon Pie Shot

A post shared by The Pie Bar (@thepiebar) on

The Pie Bar in Long Beach, CA serves up a mini pie shot called the Bacon Me Nutty that has us saying “Pie Felicia!” to our diets. What this epic bite consists of is a maple hazelnut cream with candied bacon and toasted pecans. It’s a seasonal Fall flavor only, which might be a good idea, because we’d hate to be tempted this bad all year long!

Bacon Brittle Milkshake

A post shared by B R I T T A N Y (@brittyola) on

Your milkshake proooobably already brings all the boys to the yard, but add a little bacon brittle and you’ll give Kelis a run for her money. Not only do you get bacon brittle in this milkshake, but it’s also made with bacon ice cream and garnished with chocolate-covered bacon. Found at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium in Orlando, FL, this milkshake will definitely leave you checking if you have some teeth left.

Bacon Popcorn

A post shared by debs490 (@debs490) on

Bacon popcorn tastes a lot butter when it’s free. At Great Jones Craft & Kitchen in Northern Ireland, you can enjoy a cup of complimentary bacon popcorn after you order your food and drink! Tbh, we might be down to go just for the complimentary bacon popcorn, but we’ll see…

Bacon Cheesecake

Bacon cheesecake? Why not!? For National Bacon Week, Goodwood Quality Meats in Australia decided to make a cheesecake topped with delicious maple bacon, and just by the looks of this photo, we wish every week was National Bacon Week, sigh.

Chocolate Bacon Toffee

A post shared by Tommie B (@tommiedelsol) on

Say it with us: Chocolate. Bacon. Toffee. Individually, these three are delicious nonetheless, but when put together to create a tasty snack, we basically have died and gone to bacon heaven. You can find chocolate bacon toffee at Whole Foods or even order them from Sugarfina for a friend! And by “friend” we mean “yourself,” obviously. Because treat yoself.

Chocolate Bacon

Chocolate covered anything is amazing tbh — yes, we’re all one of those people who wants a huge chocolate fountain at our weddings, ok? Chocolate covered bacon at Bacon Bacon in San Francisco, CA is nothing less than stependous, and it’s bacon our hearts that it isn’t currently in our tummies.

Bacon-Flavored Chocolate

Ok, chocolate covered bacon is one thing, but a whole bacon-flavored chocolate bar? We don’t know whether to be excited or concerned, so we choose to be excited because #bacon. Dylan’s Candy Bar went all out with these bacon flavored chocolate bars, and we’re lowkey down to make it part of our balanced breakfast.

Chocolate Covered Bacon S’more

Did you read that right? Chocolate covered bacon… s’more? The baconeers at Bacon Bacon have one-upped themselves by adding toasted marshmallows and graham cracker crumbs to make their chocolate bacon strips a little s’more extravagant than ever.

Bacon Caramel Apple

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but a bacon caramel apple might not fall under that category. Nevertheless, a bacon caramel apple from Chewy’s Gourmet Kitchen in Detroit, MI is everything your inner 8-year-old needs. Dipped in caramel and then coated with a layer of candied bacon bits, this is definitely going to be the apple of your eye.

Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are delicious as is, but why not upgrade it with some bacon bits? If you’re near Spartanburg, SC, pop by Le Spice Restaurant and Bakery for their IG-worthy bacon chocolate chip cookies!

Biscuit Cinnamon Roll with Bacon

Roll call! Cinnamon rolls with bacon bits on top are bacon us crazy just thinking about them. The biscuit cinnamon rolls at the Denver Biscuit Company in Colorado are flakey and baked to perfection, and with the added bacon, it becomes a brunch treat that makes all the calories worth it.

Chocolate Bacon Truffle

Just when we thought we couldn’t get enough of the whole “chocolate bacon” thing, we discovered chocolate bacon truffles and needed 13 of them immediately. At Piece, Love & Chocolate in Boulder, CO, these chocolate bacon truffles are topped with sea salt and candied bacon.

Bacon Roses

Stop and smell the… bacon? These dark chocolate dipped Candied Bacon Rose lollipops by Chef Erika Urso are perfect for when your S.O. has some groveling to do. Or you can just ditch them and make this bouquet your new bae(con). We won’t judge.

Bacon Caramel Toffee

A box of Vosges Uncured Bacon Caramel Toffee is something we absolutely need in our stockings this holiday season. Found in grocery stores or online at, these bacon caramel toffee bites will make going to the dentist worth it (maybe).

10 Bizarre Foods That Pair Well With Cheese

I know I’m not alone when I say this: I am obsessed with cheese. If I had the choice, I’d probably eat cheese all day and melt cheese on all other non-cheese items. Everyone has different things they like to eat with this favorite dairy product, and tbh, some of those relationships are a little… weird.

Forget your typical grilled cheese or cream cheese on a bagel, here are 10 bizarre things people like to pair with cheese.

Pickles and Cheese

This one shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, but pickles and cheese are all the rage. Whether you’re dunking them in beer cheese dip, fondue, or straight up wrapping them in a slice or two, the sourness of the pickle and the creaminess of the cheese complement each other perfectly.

If you really want to do this flavor combination right, try making these mozzarella-stuffed fried pickles by Richard in the Kitchen, and don’t say we never did you any favors.

Hot Cheetos and Cream Cheese

👍🏻😛🔥 #hotcheetosandcreamcheese #yummy #sogood #flaminhotlimoncheetos #creamcheese

A post shared by 🌺Stephanie🌺 (@stephanie_lynn_85) on

You might have heard of people drinking milk with their Hot Cheetos. Well, this weird pairing kind of takes that notion to the next level. Maybe to help ease the burn of this spicy snack, some have taken to dunking their Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in cream cheese.

Crazier yet, people are literally making cream cheese and Cheetos sandwiches, mainly with bagels as their bread of choice.

Salsa and Cottage Cheese

How is this nasty!? Thank you @jornelas_420 for trying! #cottagecheeseandsalsa

A post shared by M A R T Y J. 👸👑👄 (@prncssmjvalen) on

The logic behind this pairing seems to be if two things separately are great dips, then together they should make one super dip. You love dunking your chips in salsa, and fresh fruit is great with a scoop of cottage cheese, but together?! Together they make a combo that the general interweb is furious about.

Caramel and Bleu Cheese

You read that right. Apparently, spooning caramel onto bleu cheese makes for an out-of-this-world flavor combination. This is a little known fact that cheese experts swear by for a cheese-centric dessert. Truthfully, we’re having a hard time picturing what exactly this would taste like. Confusion, maybe?

Kimchi and Cheddar Grilled Cheese

Judge if you want, but this actually sounds amazing. We know it sounds weird when you first think about it, but kimchi and cheese get along better than you’d think. Cheese brightens up the intense kick that kimchi presents, and if you don’t believe us, we dare you to make your own. Or, better yet, go out and order one now.

Peanut Butter and Cottage Cheese

I may be a big proponent of cheese, but peanut butter is definitely my #2. So I’m trying to not be too salty about this one. In some alternate universe, people actually enjoy eating scoops of PB with cottage cheese. Now, I’m all for eating peanut butter straight from the jar (I did that like five minutes ago) but why do we have to add cheese to the equation?

As it turns out, this combo is a high protein snack that bodybuilders will “indulge” in for a late night snack or for breakfast. I don’t know your life, guys. Not here to judge.

Banana and Cheese

Afternoon treats 🌞🌞 #homecook #fromamyskitchen #bananaandcheese

A post shared by Rizka johari (@rizkajohari) on

This is an old school snack dating back to the ’70s and we kind of see why it went out of vogue. Basically, you wrap a piece of single-serving cheese around a banana and immediately eat it. No tea, no shade — that sounds downright disgusting. But if Mr. Rogers was a fan, how bad could it have honestly been?

Hot Chocolate and Cheese

Also known as Colombian hot chocolate, this cup of cocoa has a little surprise inside. Spoiler alert: it’s cheese. After making this frothy drink on the stove, Colombians will usually add some kind of white cheese, like queso compasigna, queso blanco, panela, halloumi, or mozzarella. You can use a spoon for dunking or you can put the cheese in the bottom of your mug and pour the cocoa on top. We’re definitely intrigued.

Coffee and Cream Cheese

Putting cheese in coffee is very much a thing around the world. In places like Korea, Switzerland, and Panama (where queso blanco is the general coffee cheese of choice) putting cheese in your coffee is a pretty standard thing. Fans of the pairing have said that when cheese is mixed with espresso, it supposedly tastes something like tiramisu. That might be one mystery we could do without solving ourselves. We’ll take your word for it.

Cereal and Cheese

Potentially the most jarring pairing on this list: cereal and cheese. We’d like to believe this is something only broke college students do when they run out of ramen, but it’s a thing that actually happens. Photos of people putting shredded cheese on more bland cereals, like Cheerios, have surfaced on the internet recently, and a lot of people have been coming to their aid against haters, claiming this combination is actually delicious.

This Bro’s Pork Belly Tacos Will Cradle You Lovingly To Sleep

Pork belly is one of our favorite proteins to work with. The fatty, juicy cuts of meat are so versatile, the possibilities of what you can create with them are endless. Usually, though, we just fry them up and eat them between two slices of Wonder Bread. Luckily, Josh Scherer is a little more creative than we are and whipped up these amazing tacos.

The man known as Culinary Bro-Down came up with a pork belly tacos with fish sauce caramel recipe that’s near and dear to our hearts. Especially since we’ve been chasing the fish sauce caramel dragon for a while now.

Check out the pork belly tacos recipe video:

No doubt, this dish touches upon all the basic tastes the human tongue is capable of. Scherer is good at titillating us like that.

If you’re trying to get your hands on that pork belly taco recipe, don’t sweat. Scherer’s cookbook: The Culinary Bro-Down Cookbook: Recipes for a Dope-Ass Life is now available to order on Amazon. Also, be sure to check out Scherer’s Cheeseburger Pudding recipe.

Starbucks Pops Out Caramel Popcorn Frappuccinos In Europe

How do you enjoy your popcorn? Do you take it with extra butter or are you a nacho cheese kind of individual?  Personally, I enjoy the sweet and crunchy texture that comes with caramel popcorn. Naturally when Starbucks introduced their new Caramel Popcorn Frappuccino over in the UK, our interest was piqued.

Brand Eating reports the cold new beverage will be available through the summer at Starbucks stores across the Atlantic.

The beverage features a creme Frappuccino syrup that’s blended with milk, ice, popcorn brittle, and a popcorn-flavored syrup. It’s then topped with popcorn brittle, whipped cream, butterscotch drizzle, and additional bits of popcorn brittle.

Patrons of Starbucks’ participating locations in Europe will find the beverage available through the end of the summer season. Man, we’re not looking forward to all the upcoming fall Pumpkin Spice drinks after this promotion ends, though.

Starbucks’ Newest Frappuccino Looks Like A Magical Waffle Shake

Starbucks just launched a brand-new frappuccino this week. This one’s called The Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino. Wanna guess what’s inside it?

The sweet new beverages features waffle cone syrup and dark caramel sauce that’s blended with coffee, milk and ice. It’s then topped with whipped cream, dark caramel sauce and chunks of waffle cone.

Elie, the guy that made that Taco Bell lasagna, grabbed one earlier to see how it tastes. Dude’s super big on coffee so we were prepared for some criticism.

I thought it was delicious, I like how the coffee actually comes through and it doesn’t feel like a milkshake.
Damn, he actually liked it.
But it’s sweet AF, definitely not capable of finishing the entire drink. Per usual of Starbucks Frappuccino drinks.
That’s more like it.
Still, it sounds like just the drink for a much-needed sugar rush.

Starbucks is also bringing back their S’mores Frappuccino for a limited time. Both beverages will be available for the summer and will probably disappear come pumpkin spice season.

Starbucks Is Bringing The Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino BACK

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 2.02.51 PM

Unbeknownst to many, today is National Caramel Day, and Starbucks is bringing back one of their most famously delicious frappuccinos in honor of the holiday, the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino.

This frappuccino treat is made with toffee nut syrup, milk, coffee, blended ice, then blanketed with a layer of caramel syrup, topped with whipped cream, then finally drizzled with the famous mocha chocolate sauce.

Created last year for the Frappuccino Flav-Off, this caramel-packed delight competed against some highly competitive flavors that, frnakly, all sound mouthwateringly delicious. Beating out flavors like Cotton Candy, Lemon Bar, Red Velvet Cake, Cinnamon Roll and Cupcake is no easy task in itself.

Regrettably, the drink was discontinued after a short stint on the open market.

Fear not though, for the frappuccino gods look down favorably upon you! From now until April 11th, Starbucks will be selling the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino at all participating locations, so be sure to pick one up before they’re gone again!

Ben & Jerry’s Mouth-Watering New Flavors Are Too Good To Be True

Ben & Jerry’s is known for two things: having the most eccentric flavors and putting the largest chunks and gobs of deliciousness in all of their flavors. I’ll be shocked if you can find a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream that has bigger dollops of cookie dough than Ben & Jerry’s version.

The show goes on for B&J as they unveil their three newest flavors: Coconuts for Caramel, Brownie Batter and Cookies & Cream Cheesecake (say whaaaaat!?). All three flavors will be part of their Core collection, pints of ice cream that contain sweet, gooey centers.

Coconuts for Caramel will be made with sweet cream coconut ice cream, with flakes of fudge peppered in throughout and a thick, delicious cone of caramel jammed in the center.

Brownie Batter will have a blend of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The core will be jam-packed with soft brownie batter.

The Cookies & Cream Cheesecake is made with a swirl of chocolate and cheesecake ice cream flavors, and the core will be filled with…you guessed it, thick and creamy cheesecake goodness.
