Taco Bell Introduces Its First Official Beer on Tap

When Taco Bell started introducing its booze-friendly Cantinas across the country, you knew it was only a matter of time before they had their own beer on tap.

As they prep to open their newest Cantina in Newport Beach, California, Taco Bell introduced their very own beer called the Beach Bell lager, which will be sold exclusively at the location, for now.

The fast food restaurant teamed with local brewer Four Sons Brewing, to make the “Mexican-style” amber lager, and while there’s no official word on Taco Bell brand beers popping up at other Cantina locations, we could very well start seeing similar official collaborations with other local breweries across the U.S.

Aside from the hype surrounding the beer, the Southern California TB Cantina will also have a walkup window, boozy Twisted Freezes that have been sold at other Cantinas, and of course, its standard food menu.

The Newport Beach Taco Bell Cantina officially opens Friday, November 15, as So. Cal. can enjoy some fast food and adult beverages at the same time.

For $600, You Can Now Get Married At Taco Bell

Earlier this year, we broke the news that Taco Bell’s Las Vegas Cantina location would begin offering weddings to patrons over the summer. That’s right, love birds could officially tie the knot at Taco Bell by purchasing wedding packages.

Taco Bell just announced that beginning August 7, anyone can now sign up for a ceremony at the flagship Las Vegas Cantina restaurant.

A few months ago, the fast food chain held a contest for two lucky Taco Bell lovers to be the first to wed at the location. On June 25, Dan Ryckert and Bianca Monda made Cantina history by exchanging vows and tacos in front of friends and family.

At $600, the wedding package includes an official ceremony complete with ordained officiant, a private reception for 15 guests, customized swag for the bride and groom, Taco Bell branded champagne flutes, a Taco 12-pack, a Cinnabon Delights cake, and a bouquet made of hot sauce packets.

If you happen to be in Vegas and want to lock down the love of your life, here are all the nitty gritty details on how to get married at the flagship Cantina.

Taco Bell Just Chose The First Couple To Be Married At The Las Vegas Cantina

Not too long ago, we learned that Taco Bell would soon be offering full-service weddings at their new Las Vegas Cantina location. The booze-slinging, 24 hour location would also become a chapel for anyone looking to enter marital bliss with a little help from the fast-food chain.

Now, one lucky couple has been select to become the first two people to be married at the Taco Bell Vegas Cantina.

Dan Ryckert, of Giant Bomb, and his fiancee Bianca are set to wed this June. Fans of Giant Bomb will know that Ryckert has been a life-long fan of Taco Bell, even ordering every single item the fast food chain had to offer in one trip last year.

Besides a lifetime of memories, here are some of the gifts the couple will also receive:

We wish these two the best of luck. Later this year, Taco Bell will open their Catina to everyone and anyone interested in purchasing a wedding package at their new location.

Taco Bell Is Now Offering Full-Service Weddings In Vegas

Taco Bell just announced they will be giving two lucky lovers a chance to have a dream wedding. The fast food chain is offering a paid trip to Las Vegas to become the first couple to tie the knot at their recently-opened Las Vegas Cantina flagship.

Yep, this includes a bouquet of hot sauce packets, a 12-pack of tacos, and champagne flutes filled with Twisted Freezes.

Between Feb. 14-26, couples can enter this new  “Love and Tacos Contest and Happily Ever Crashers Sweepstakes through Twitter or Instagram by posting a 30-second video of themselves and sharing their love story with the hashtag #LoveAndTacosContest

Once the entry window closes, fans across the US can vote on which couple they’d like to see tie the knot for free. Taco Bell will then pick the winner on March 16 and fly them, a plus one, and a guest who voted out to Vegas to be a part of the wedding.

If you’re one of the many who didn’t get picked, don’t stress. Taco Bell is also offering a $600 wedding package this summer, which can be purchased by any visitor to the Cantina. Within four to six hours of purchasing the package, you can instantly tie the knot.

The Las Vegas Cantina is a 24-hour Taco Bell flagship store that offers full restaurant service as well as alcoholic Freeze drinks, has a DJ booth, and a second-floor lounge.

Imagine ordering a wedding right off the Taco Bell menu there.

Disclaimer: Taco Bell has been a paid partner in the past, though not in this particular editorial piece.

The Infamous Cantina From Star Wars Is Opening In Hollywood

It’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan. Not only do we get a new movie every year, but restaurants are also drawing inspiration from the franchise and opening up spots like the iconic Cantina in the real world.

The famous Mos Eisley Cantina was first seen in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New HopeLaist reports that a pop-up called the Scum & Villainy Cantina will open its doors, not on Tattooine, but in Los Angeles, California.

Scum & Villainy’s website describes the location as “a fully immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in a galaxy far away.”

Costumes are encouraged.

While the actual location remains a secret for the time being, the Hollywood zip code 90028 gives patrons an idea of where this space opera-themed restaurant will ‘pop up’.

You can keep checking the website or Facebook page for an official announcement on reservations and exact location.

Taco Bell Is Opening A Boozy Cantina In Las Vegas

Taco Bell has announced that they’ll be opening a flagship Cantina restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. Because nothing says fun like booze and tacos.

Taco Bell’s 24 hour location will have a Vegas-like flare to it. The interior will feature an open kitchen layout, community tables and shareable menu items. The Cantina will also serve alcohol, beer and Twisted Freezes.

“Expansion into urban markets is a key focus for us both this year and over the course of the next several years,” said Brian Niccol, Chief Executive Officer at Taco Bell Corp in a press release. “When we talked about where to establish a flagship store, it didn’t take long to realize that having a presence in the heart of Vegas would undoubtedly create a unique, distinctive and fun destination and experience for Taco Bell fans.”

The Cantina restaurant is set to open sometime in the fall. It’ll be found on Harmon Corner across from the Cosmopolitan Hotel and CityCenter. The Vegas Cantina will join Taco Bell’s existing locations in Chicago and San Francisco.

This Restaurant Created An Enormous Deadpool Poutine-Chimichanga

Deadpool loves timely witticisms, guns, and his roommate Blind Al. Still, nothing comes close to the Merc with the Mouth’s undying love for chimichangas.

One Philadelphia-based restaurant called Cantina Dos Segundos decided to show the crimson clown some love by dedicating their new poutine-stuffed chimichanga to him.

On top of that, Ryan Reynolds is Canadian-born, which is why Cantina gave a nod to his heritage by stuffing Deadpool’s favorite dish with the food of Reynolds’ people.

According to their Instagram account, the enormous dish comes with, “braised short rib, fried cheese curds, French fries and Jack cheese all safely enveloped in a deep fried tortilla, served atop some au jus, topped with pickled onions and bacon.”

Deadpool is currently out in theaters and IMAX.
