Irish People Try Fried Chicken From Around The World [WATCH]

There are few foods in the world that could best fried chicken. If clogged arteries weren’t an issue, we could honestly enjoy fried chicken for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Over at Facts, a lucky panel of Irish lads and lasses got to do what I’ve been dreaming of my entire adult life: try different kinds of fried chicken from around the world.

Dishes featured include Buttermilk Fried Chicken from the United States, Lollipop Chicken from India, Chicken Karaage from Japan, and Peppered Chicken from Nigeria.

Before biting into the crispy cuts of poultry, the group doesn’t actually know where the fried chicken comes from or what type it is. They’re gifted with the experience of trying completely new fried chicken fare utterly blind.

Check out the video to see what they thought of these variations of the iconic dish.

Arby’s Just Added Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich Options To Their Menu

When we think of Arby’s, we usually picture slices of roast beef or ham stacked high in a sandwich. If you’re hoping for more chicken options, you’re in finger-lickin’ luck. The fast food sandwich chain is now adding a line of Buttermilk Breaded Chicken.

New items include the Buffalo, the Cordon Bleu, Crispy Chicken, and the Chicken Bacon Swiss, with the latter three being classic Arby Sandwiches, just with a fat piece of buttermilk chicken thrown into it.

We’re definitely a sucker for any chicken product drenched in buttermilk.

You can now find the new buttermilk lineup at all Arby’s restaurant locations nationwide.

McDonald’s Upgrades Crispy Chicken With New BUTTERMILK Recipe

McDonald’s has nationally launched its new Buttermilk Crispy Chicken today, Brand Eating reports.

The poultry offering is made with a chicken breast filet that’s marinated in buttermilk and battered with buttermilk. It’s also blended with onion powder, garlic and black pepper. The upgraded protein is intended to replace the current crispy chicken. This includes traditional McDonald’s items like wraps, salads and chicken sandwiches.

Earlier this year, the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken was tested at select locations. It’s now available at all McDonald’s restaurants across the US.

Brand Eating also notes that the new crispy chicken is cooked in the same fryers as the Chicken McNuggets for those with a milk allergy.

Buttermilk Doughnuts

A soft airy cake with a zingy-zangy fresh buttermilk glaze make this a homemade doughnut worthy of drooling at. Made just how a quality doughnut should be, with minimal, simple ingredients. I’m craving one like a baby craves a bottle, gonna have to give this recipe a whirl in the next couple days!

Craving: Raspberry Buttermilk Cake

Every so often, you come across a certain recipe for some food that you get hooked on. For myself, this week it’s raspberry buttermilk cake. How do you go wrong with a cake made from buttermilk filled with delicious (and nutritious!) raspberries. The only thing you can hate about this is all the seeds, but why even hate on something so sweet and scrumptious. (Thx SmittenKitchen)

Craving: Peanut Butter Cup Cake

When Bakerella craves chocolate, so do I. This cake is based on a mix, and has buttermilk and peanut butter cups added to it. The frosting is made from dark chocolate, peanut butter and heavy cream.
