Buffalo Wings-Flavored Popcorn Exists, And It Tastes Just like The Real Thing

Winter is the season of gifting and game days, and Popcornopolis is checking off both boxes at once with their new flavor that tastes just like buffalo wings.

The new BIG Buffalo is dusted with a fiery, buttery powder that has a buttermilk-like tang. It evokes the flavors of buffalo wings dipped in blue cheese sauce without a single trace of poultry. How they got that flavor spot-on, I don’t know, but it’s addictive enough to have half a bag disappear in a single quarter of basketball.

Popcornopolis’s newest flavor joins a lineup of Hot Cocoa & Marshmallow, Snickerdoodle, and Chocolate Chip Cookie bags that the national popcorn maker is sending out for the first time this holiday season. Those interested in picking up any of those flavors can head to the Popcornopolis website to secure their bags.

Chicken Tender Stuffed ‘FAT TACO’ Is The Hangover Cure We Need To Drown In Salsa

Photo courtesy of Tito’s Burritos and Wings

When going on a taco run, I never come home with less than four of any type of taco. I may want to reconsider that rule after laying my eyes on this hard-shelled behemoth.

New Jersey is home to Tito’s Burritos and Wings, a restaurant chain that specializes in massive menu items that are hands-down not for the faint of heart. One of their newest items, the Fat Amy Taco, is one you’d have to step back to be able to take in.

Known for naming items after celebrities and fictional movie characters, Tito’s taco is also inspired by local favorites. It takes it name from the tradition of the “fat sandwich,” a New Jersey staple of stuffing sandwiches with an excess of fried foods as a means to cure the dreaded hangover. It is also influenced by the fictional character “Fat Amy” from the Pitch Perfect film series, whose personality is “loud and proud” — just how the restaurant describes this massive taco.

At 12 inches, the tortilla shell is deep fried and stuffed with fried chicken tenders, hand-cut French fries, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo salsa, cheese, and a spicy chipotle sauce.

The Fat Amy Taco can be found at all five of Tito’s New Jersey locations (Summit, Morristown, Ridgewood, Boonton, and South Orange). You can bring a friend and share, but tackling the massive taco on your own is also a true culinary feat.

We Turned Buffalo Chicken Wings Into Donuts, Here’s The Recipe

If you’re looking for a simple, creative and buzzworthy dish for you and the squad to enjoy, these savory donuts bursting with buffalo chicken and Dean’s Ranch Dip merit some serious consideration.

Don’t worry, these Buffalo Chicken Donuts couldn’t be easier to make. You only need six ingredients: chicken, buffalo sauce, biscuit dough, Dean’s Ranch Dip, cilantro to garnish, and oil for frying. The contrast between spicy filling and cool, creamy Dean’s Ranch Dip “icing” goes perfectly with the fluffy pastry. And be sure to be a true FOODBEAST and fill them up with as much buffalo chicken as possible.

They’re perfect to whip up for a last-minute get-together, a unique game day spread, or just when you’re craving buffalo wings and donuts at the same time.

Peep below to get the full recipe for these spectacular Buffalo Chicken Donuts with Dean’s Ranch Dip.

2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken breast (chopped small enough to fit through piping bag)
1 16.3oz can Flaky Layers Buttermilk Biscuits
2 Tbsp buffalo sauce
4 Tbsp + 4 Tbsp Dean’s Ranch Dip
1 small bunch cilantro, chopped
6-8 cups canola oil

Servings: 8 donuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit. Chop chicken into finely minced pieces that will be able to pass through the small end of a piping bag. In a small bowl, add chopped chicken, 4 Tbsp Dean’s Ranch Dip, and buffalo sauce. Put mixture into piping bag. Alternatively, you can cut the corner off of a gallon-sized plastic bag. Set aside.

Step 2
Place oil in pot or deep pan and heat to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit. Open buttermilk biscuits and separate the biscuits. Flatten each slightly so that they measure approximately 4 inches in diameter.

Step 3
Place biscuits into the hot oil and fry until a light brown color, flipping occasionally for even coloring. Rest biscuits on a sheet pan.

Step 4
Take a small knife or chopstick and poke a hole into the side of each biscuit. Hollow out a space for the chicken mixture. Place piping bag tip into hole. Evenly and slowly fill the biscuit with the chicken mixture. Place filled donuts on sheet pan.

Step 5
Place sheet pan into oven for 10 minutes. Allow donuts to cool. Spread remaining Dean’s Ranch Dip onto donut like “icing” and garnish with chopped cilantro.

Tim Hortons Unveils Buffalo Wing Flavored Latte

When we hear the name Tim Horton’s, we usually think of Timbits, coffee, Canada, and Josh Elkin. Now, all we’re going to think about is this buffalo latte. No, seriously.

The popular donut and coffee chain has released a limited-time beverage inspired by the iconic chicken wing dish. Hey, at least it’s not another pumpkin spice entry.

According to GrubStreet, the beverage is made from freshly brewed espresso, steamed milk, mocha, and a bold buffalo sauce flavor. It’s then layered with whipped topping and a zesty buffalo seasoning.

Not sure how those flavors will go together, but hey, good on Tim Hortons for shooting their shot.

Those curious about the new flavor can find them at the Tim Hortons located at 3470 Main St. in Buffalo, NY as well as 9849 Transit Rd. in Depew, NY. The beverage is available now through Oct. 20 while supplies last.

Irish People Try TGI Fridays For The First Time [WATCH]

A few months back, we got to tour TGI Fridays’ headquarters in Texas and try some of their new burgers. The restaurant chain has been around for decades and is one of America’s first major causal dining empires.

In their latest video, the folks over at Facts decided to sit down to try some staple dishes offered at the restaurant chain. Popular TGI Fridays items include loaded potato skins, buffalo chicken wings, Jack Daniel’s ribs, and caramel apple pie.

So you’ve got the apps, the entree, and the dessert. Nice.

The overall consensus of the menu seemed to be pretty positive, despite that one girl really disliking the Jack Daniel’s ribs. Check out the video to see their reactions to each of these dishes.

Now we’re hungry for potato skins. Great.

This pork shank is drenched in buffalo chicken sauce and topped with chunks of bleu cheese.

If you’re a carnivorous eater who’s looking for the next meaty challenge, make sure to nab your tickets for either the Market Place (pay-as-you-eat) or the VIP section (all-you-can-consume). The festival will be on April 22.
