If you still don’t know what to make/eat for your upcoming Super Bowl party here is yet another healthy, but delicious option: Baked Potato Nachos. These Baked Potato Nachos are super delicious and won’t kill your calorie count. Get some regular old potatoes and cut them into wedges, salt, pepper and drizzle them in olive oil. Bake until they’re golden brown and have a nice crisp, and BOOM, you have the base to your nachos!
These black bean sliders have a fried peppered crust that are topped with grilled onions, cheddar cheese, guacamole, salsa, and barbecue sauce! The peppered crusted patties are filled with black beans, garlic, taco seasoning, bread crumbs, corn, eggs, and cilantro! I would bet some good money that I would be able to put away at least twenty of these babies! What about you? (Thx BB)
Recently I was in Santa Barbara for my uncle Mark’s wedding. After an incredible night of drinking and partying, and a morning of a pretty heavy hangover, food couldn’t sound any better. My sister had been to this spot on State St. called Eladio’s which sounded great to all the parties involved, so we all walked down the beach to get some breakfast. Follow me through this meal, because it was seriously on another level.
The Pioneer Woman had this type of recipe on her website a few months back, and one day I talked my dad into making them with me. He made all the tortillas and I did everything else. This recipe is sorta of hap-hazard, but it’s so simple that I’m sure if you throw something together it will come out just as good as these did. Check it out after the hop.
I have a new obsession with pictures of food. Something about how they look, just makes me want to be a chef, or a professional food photographer or just eat. Any of the above would work for me. Smitten Kitchen brings us this recipe for Black Bean Tacos, and man do they look good. Check out more pictures and their recipe after the jump.
