Banana Nut Chocolate Bark
Melted down milk and white chocolate chips, swirled together, add banana chips, unsalted cashews, and let it chill. That’s what Lindsey is telling us to do with her latest chocolate bark recipe, and like sheep, we will follow her to the edge. Or to the end of the recipe, whichever comes first.
Chocolate Covered Cheetos
If you’re into following personal baking blogs, let me start your day off with one of my favorites: The Cereal Baker. In today’s installment, Becky shows off a tangent project in the form of these crazy chocolate covered Cheetos. Utilizing a laughably easy ingredient list (Cheetos and Chocolate Baking Bark) and a few simple steps, we arrive at these White and Milk Chocolate Covered Cheetos. Tempting much?
Peanut Butter Jelly Bark
Imagine a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich represented in candy bark form. Can’t? Well, just look at the image above and that’s just what you’ll see. The bark is made from white chocolate chips, crushed potato chips, Craisins and Reese’s Pieces. All the ingredients are mixed in a bowl, then lathered onto a baking sheet, covered with melted white chocolate and frozen for a quarter of an hour. Easy enough? Oh Becky, you truly are making us FOODBEASTS moan!
Peppermint Bark is the solution for all your left over candy from the holidays (you still have that?!). Instead of saving your candy canes for next Christmas (Gross, who would do that) make them into a dessert for a post holiday dinner. Crush up your left over candy canes and sprinkle them onto warm chocolate and let it harden! You could basically do it with any left over candy and chocolate from the holidays, the possibilities are endless! (Thx AnEdibleMosaic)
Candy bark is getting up there in the category of one of my favorite sweets to eat! One reason why is due to the fact you can mix and match everything with it, for instance, Frito-Lay Reese’s Cup Bark. Yeah, Frito-Lay chips broken up mixed with pretzels (broken up), Reese’s cups, butter, brown sugar, milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips! This is the definition of sweet and salty perfection! If only they were actual bark and grew on trees… (Thx TheCerealBaker)
Candy bark has always had a special place in my heart, it was always the treat moms brought in for me and the fellow students in grade school. This particular concoction is made of Milk chocolate chips, semi sweet sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, Halloween Oreos, Peanut Butter M&Ms, Candy Corn and Halloween Kit Kats. A little special care, a swirl here, a sprinkle there, and we get this coveted Halloween Candy Bark!
