I bet you with Valentine’s Day coming up, if you’re into celebrating that stuff, this little homemade endeavor might just end up getting you some play that night. What’s a Chewbaca Bar? It’s a creation of Miss Selma Lee, who also has more detailed pictures and instructions on her website if you’re so inclined to learn more. We’re looking at thick slices of bacon candied with maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and brown sugar, then dipped in chocolate and layered with homemade marshmallows, dusted on one side with cocoa powder and cut up into cute little bars.
Ever wonder what you should do with that little extra piece of steak, that you just don’t want to toss out. Well you could make steak panini’s! Take leftover thin sliced steak, slap it on some roasted garlic bread. Add onion, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, crumbled blue cheese and gruyere cheese and you will come out with this masterpiece. A rich ricotta cheese accented with currant pine nut relish, egg yolk, olive oil, creme fraiche, salt, pepper, sauteed onions, chopped parsley and reduced balsamic vinegar.
